Video flickering, inconsistent

Since my recent update, the video transmission (of me) is delayed, flickering on the top portion of the rectangle. I hit the video to turn it off and turn it back on and it is better but it can randomly start again. Happens on both my laptops since about a week ago. I've had the laptops in different homes, so different wifi - doesn't make a difference. Just deleted and re-installed - still happening.

Same problem but no one seems to have to a solution. I think it's a system glitch!

My wife told me her camera flickered after downloading a Zoom update recently. After testing, the problem was identified. Go to Video, and then Advanced. Uncheck "Optimize video quality with de-noise". It worked for her, and it might for you.

Does not work.  Even when unchecked, the video flnches, especially at the bottom.

I have been having the same problem - my video keeps on flickering.

I have uninstalled my Zoom and then reinstalled Zoom.

The video keeps on flickering

Thank you for contacting Zoom Support, my name is Chris and I'll be working on this ticket with you.
I understand you are experiencing video issues after updating to the latest Zoom Version 5.13. We would like to apologize for the inconvenience.
Our Engineers have reproduced the issue and found the root cause, the video de-noise function goes wrong when the CPU usage is high on some computers with low-performance CPUs.
The issue is expected to be fixed on the 5.13.5 version which will be released next Monday, January 16th.

While waiting for a fix, we have these work arounds that can resolve the issue for the time being:
Work Around 1 - Disabling video de-noise in the advanced video settings can avoid the issue.

On your Zoom App, Go to > Settings ( By clicking on the Upper right hand corner 'gear icon')
Select ‘Video’ > Advanced > Uncheck  ‘Optimize quality of the video | send with de-noise
Work Around 2 - Roll back to Previous Zoom Version 5.12.9 (Downgrading to 5.12.9 fixes the issue)
Roll back and re-install instructions for Windows
First uninstall the current Zoom version (Windows)
The following steps should help get the old installation cleared, and get Zoom reinstalled and working for you.
Could you please run the CleanZoom application in the attachments, and then restart your computer when it's finished?
Once done restarting please visit this link
EXE 64-bit: this will automatically download the previous version for you.
Roll back and re-install instructions for MAC
Click on the Zoom Icon at the dock while you have the Zoom Client running.
On the upper left you will see, click on Uninstall
Once Zoom is completely uninstalled,  visit this link below to roll back to the previous version.

I unchecked the de-noise box, and the problem is still there.  Very distracting.

Ok, so I decided to download the older client.  There is no option to do so on the download page.

There are a few different things that might have caused it: If you're doing a time lapse and your exposure is set to auto you might have flickering as the scene gets lighter or darker as the camera adjusts to the lighting changes. If you're filming computer screens or projector screens.

James, I am not doing those things.  The picture randomly appears to be blanking out, or in part blanking out.  It is not a regular flicker.  The browser version of the client does not do it, just the stand alone version.  It appears to be a bug, as reportedly if a person has an older client it does not do it.  The dowload page does not give me the option for an older client.

Me too.  Same thing.  On the Client.  In the Browser it is OK but very slow.

tried  unchecking denoise and changing video rendering method to Direct3D11 - neither worked.
