Prevent Zoom Bombers From Re-entering Meeting

DM12
Listener

Just had a class zoom bombed.  The same user was removed several times and reported and he was able to keep re-joining the class.  Why is a user who was reported during a meeting allowed to re-enter the same meeting?  Is there a quicker way to remove and block a zoom bomber than reporting?  The admin spends the entire time monitoring the zoom meeting to remove people instead of running the class.

Is this for the same meeting ID?

Please ensure that the following option is de-selected on the host's account:

This can be found in Settings->Meetings via web.

Hello,

As a Zoom admin you can establish  if a kicked out user can rejoin.

Account

If you are the account admin, you can allow rejoining for all members of your organization:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In-Meeting (Basic), verify that Allow removed participants to rejoin is disabled.

Or as a user you might adjust the following;

User

To disable allowing removed participants to rejoin meetings for your own use:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
  2. In the navigation menu, click Settings.
  3. Click the Meeting tab.
  4. Under In-Meeting (Basic), verify that allow removed participants to rejoin is disabled.
Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level, and you will need to contact your Zoom administrator.

Regards
