My apologies at the outset, because I'm sure this is a dumb question, but here I go: I am hosting my first webinar, and I have the instructions for inviting the speakers and sending them invitations with unique links. However, how do I as the moderator join? Do I simply use the link for the event? thanks, wil burns

Hi- Is it possible to upload preregistered (or elsewhere registered) users via .csv for a conference? Or is this feature only available for webinars? Thx!

Something is wrong with the Zoom Events setup process such that it won't allow events to be discoverable by anyone with the link. Instead it is forcing the meeting to be accessible only to those on the guest list. We set up a Volunteer Appreciation event on the 2nd and want anyone who has the link to be able to register. However, the attached screenshot shows that, when I mouse-over the the option to make the event discoverable by all user with the link, the option cannot be selected. Please advise us on how we can make events discoverable. This is the primary way in which we intend to use Zoom Events.

Quick question:  In hosting a meeting, I'm concerned that if I have an interruption with my internet that the active meeting will drop(my internet is unstable at times and freezes).  If I assign a Co-Host will this ensure that the meeting will continue without interruption with the Co-Host becoming the Host during my drop?  Or should I assign an alternative host?

On the desktop app, I can share the screen of an iPad. When using the iPad or iPhone app, is it possible to share the screen of a second iPad in the same way? I don't always want to carry my laptop with me, but it's impossible for people to see me while I write on the same iPad (they end up looking at the ceiling or the bottom of my chin.) I know you can't be logged in on two tablets at once (at least not when using the free version), but with the desktop app, sharing a tablet screen via screeencast doesn't require being signed in on the tablet, only on the desktop. Is it possible to do this? Thanks!

Hello friends,  I will give a small training to my cowokers on how to use Zoom.  For this purpose I need to share my Zoom window, in order to show them the buttons they need to click on. I enabled the 'Show my Zoom windows during screen share" both on my application, and on the website, on my account. Then I signed out and signed back in, I closed and reopened my application, but IT DOES NOT WORK. I also downladed the latest version of Zoom.  I don't know what else I can try.  Do you have any ideas? Thank you a lot!

if I select "only authenticated users can join",- can I let non-authenticated users in by  a. ALSO selecting passcode on the settings page   b. giving the non-authenticated users the passcode?I am using "only authenticated users can join" for weekly meetings, but once in a while I want to let a new person in without defining them as an authorized user.

Hi! I had to find out that zoom does not support virtual backgrounds on linux for my CPU (i5-5200U).After some googling I found the requirements page here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360043484511-System-requirements-for-Virtual-Background which says that on Linux I would need an i7 with 4 cores or more.I am currently looking to upgrade my laptop to another Laptop with an i7 7600U which only has 2 cores, but 4 threads. Can anybody report if the virtual background feature worked for them on a similar CPU?  Thanks!Best RegardsWolfgang

Looking to see if there is a solution to be able to have a presenter stand up at the front of the conference room and be picked up by a second camera and potentially a secondary display.  The presenter can then address the audience in the room as well as the remote attendees.  Is this something Zoom can support and what hardware vendor supports it?Also I believe Cisco can do this with their room kits and presenter track, and I know they are supported in room meetings using CRC, but same original question then applies does the Zoom meeting support what that hardware can do? 

I frequently switch my laptop between locations. In each location there may be a different audio/video device configuration. For example: headset + internal camera  speaker from laptop's audio out + mic on camera + external video camera When I use meetings from a new location, I have to change the Audio-in, the audio-out, and sometimes the video device. Since the locations/device groupings rarely change, it would be nice to have user-defined sets of devices to choose from, rather than me having to change all 3 devices individually.   thanks for reading.  

I discovered today Zoom had recently adding some question types to the Advanced Quizzing and Polling feature, including Fill in the Blank.  Is there a way to have multiple correct answers possible for a fill in the blank? For instance, if I enter a question "<blank 1> is the President of the United States.", is there a way for me to make the possible answer both "Joe Biden" and "Biden"?  It doesn't appear I can do that, but checking for sure. Thanks in advance.

I am a fan of the new PowerPoint as a virtual background feature.  I just really hope that Zoom can figure out how to support sound, transitions, or animations embedded in the slides - that would be AMAZING! ....And it would really increase the engagement level of presentations. 

Can I set up the automatic follow-up email to absentees to include a URL for them to view the video?

We are converting to Zoom using Polycom phones.  We were trying to use the save a line feature.  When we save the contact it shows on the display and works but the next morning it is gone.  Has anyone experienced this and how can we fix it. Thanks for the help!

My mom's telehealth assessment can be done with the assessor using Zoom for Healthcare.  Does it work if she just has the free basic (i.e. unpaid) Zoom, and is that secure then, in the way that Zoom for Healthcare is supposed to provide?

I am trying to add a MP4 virtual video background on Zoom for iPad.   It works fine on the Mac, but when I try to add video on the iPad, it does not recognize either MP4 or MOV videos

can someone help me? I can't find one of the email templates I want to edit. For webinars. I can find all of the other ones in  Admin/Account Management/Webinar Settings. But the email template for the message that goes to a webinar registrant who cancels is not in the list will all the other email templates. Can you help me find it? Thanks.    

Hello, I have a weekly zoom meeting set up and my co-workers and I take turns hosting the sessions. I have them added as Alternative Hosts and I invite them to the calendar invite (google calendar), but each time they run the session they are required to Register for the zoom meeting. How can they get around that and be able to start the session as a  host without registering? Thank you.
