Hi,  I understand that the host can control what the participants see in Focus Mode. But can they control what the participant hears?   Would it be possible to talk to just a selected participant in Focus Mode? For example, if a teacher wants to tell a student something but not announce it to the whole class, is there a way for the teacher to select which student to talk to?    Thanks.  

while hosting a webinar - is it possible to make sure that participants are not able to see each other? that only the host will be able to see them?

I have wartched some videos on youtube about using the closed captioning on zoom with a meeting. 3 questions that were not answered nor addressed in those videos.1. Can live captioning be done in a language other then english, ie: spanish2. Can a person on a mic be assigned to be the person who is dictating the close caption which the meeting can be heard in the language being spoken.3. Does closed captioning get captured in the meeting recording?

When in a meeting, my chat window doesn't show up properly--I can see the chat messages, but I can't see the button that let's you choose who to send a chat to. What is going on and how do I fix this? Attaching a screengrab, you can see where the pink arrow is pointing that the button to choose who the message goes to is only barely visible.I've tried resizing the chat window, and zooming in and out--neither worked. I'm not super savvy so that's about all I can think to do on my own. Thanks!

I am stumped but must be missing something basic I fear. Under "Account Settings" and the "Recording" tab, I go to "Recording Notifications - Zoom Clients"   HOWEVER, there is no line which reads Show a disclaimer to participants when a recording starts   hence no ability to "Customize Disclaimer".   I am unable so far to see why this option is not appearing (it used to!).   I have a Pro account.        

HelloBACKGROUND CONTEXTI've got a very strange audio problem to which I cannot figure out the solution.  I've got a couple of different USB interfaces that work fine with all my broadcast software including OBS, ManyCam or directly out of Zoom, howeverI've got a musical instrument and whenever I blow it, Zoom Blocks it whether I play through my mic on my interface directly or through OBS or ManyCam.  So I tried recording the same instrument into the same mic, same interface and recorded in Both OBS and ManyCam and the sound is fine.  Zoom Just wont accept the sounds.So I bought a new interface, a Tascam Mixcast 4, which is essentially the same as Rodecaster.   It has sound pads built right it so that I can send sound effects right into the mix with my Microphone.  Here, again, zoom picks up my Mic just fine, but if I blow the instrument, nothing.  If I engage one of the sound pads, nothing - I get about the 1st second of sound and then its muted out.&

Is there no way to put a subnet mask either /xx or full mask with 255.x.x.x. to tie an IP to a site for e911? both methods fail when I try.  any tricks I am missing?    thanks     

Hello - we currently have a Pro Zoom One plan. For one month only, we will need to run maybe 5 or 6 simultaneous meetings. Is it possible to upgrade to the Business plan for one month only (10 licenses) and then downgrade back to the Pro plan the next month?  Or is there another option to having more than one license for one month.  Thanks!

I know others have asked about this, and I haven't seen a lot of helpful replies but...I hate that I'm recorded backwards in Zoom. The items behind me are recorded on the opposite side of reality, and it's very annoying. Are there any easy fixes? Third party options that don't require hours of study to get this one feature (looking at you Ecamm). It's such a simple thing I just wish Zoom would fix it...

Is there a way to set our internal phones/extensions to allow to call each other outside normal business hours? Once our normal business hours end, we are unable to call each other.

Hi, Our missed calls log and call history is not being updated for up to weeks sometimes, this makes it very hard for us as a team to call back missed calls or to reliablily look up past calls/who picked up. Anyone have the same issue and know how to resolve it? Thanks.

I don't see a way to set meetings to automatically allow all users to share their screens. It's not a big deal but it would be nice to have that setting because we ALWAYS need to allow others to share their screens in our meetings. I'm using the App on an iMac desktop machine. I've lost the ability to see a meeting's running time.  Can we make a selection in settings to have the active running time visible to the host and participants?  Thank you.

Hi there,I have a Zoom Pro account. I am due to deliver training to a group via Zoom next week. Today I was practicing delivery on my own on Zoom but got the message "your meeting ended as it was idle after 40 minutes". Why is this and is there any danger that it will happen next week during my training session? Thank you, Lorraine Shine

I've recently updated to version 5.13.4 (11835), and suddenly when I'm screen sharing a video and sound, my own video glitches in a way I've never seen before. What I'm sharing is fine, everyone else's video is fine, but my video gets caught on a one-second movement on repeat. I'm also using a second monitor, but this has never been a problem before. When I'm on a Zoom call, the names of participants display for a second or two and then disappear. I have to keep moving my cursor over the main window to bring them back. Is there a way to keep the names on for the duration of the meeting?

I was attempting to provision a new phone I got today after successfully provisioning other types of audiocodes phones and I ran into an issue with the firmware (3.4.8.198.9) I was pointed to in this list:  https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/360001299063#h_01G9G51KCKYB1JX909RQK1AJ3T  After updating the phone through its web portal with this firmware I was unable to get into the admin area to do a factory reset. The phone says the password is wrong but I know that audiocodes have their default admin password set to 1234 and I haven't changed this. Additionally the IP address no longer loads the web portal since updating the firmware so I'm unable to make any changes there.  Audiocodes have a way to reset the hardware by pressing ok and menu at the same time while unplugging and plugging in the device but this has also made no change to the issues I'm having.  If someone could manage to help I'd be very grateful!   

Hello all,   I am attempting to create a report that shows all users' total phone call time, as well as their license, to determine if a user's current license is not a good fit for them. For example, a user with a 'Metered' license having 2500 minutes called would be better off on an 'Unlimited' license (and vice versa).   I don't believe such a report exists; but if such a report (or combination of reports) does exist, it would simplify this process significantly. The 'phone system usage by users' report yields the total call time, but does not contain the users' licenses. I am unsure if the desired report would require use of the API, which I am inexperienced with.   Any insight would be greatly appreciated -- thanks for reading!

Help! We have a large group of ZOOM Pro hosts who will hosting a new series of training sessions -  each course includes polls in the instructional design.  Is there any way to bulk populate the polls for these sessions into all of the host PMRs?  Or - is there a way to give an LHH admin or Alternative host access to pre - populate it FOR the hosts?  I know that AltHosts can now add/edit polls DURING a meeting, but that doesn't help us.  Do we have ANY options at all other than having every single individual host login to their ZOOM web portal and manually set up all of the polls by hand in their PMR settings of their profile so they can then launch them when they are teaching?

Hi,I have an account with a gmail address and the password is done through signing in with Google.I really want to use my domain email address and selecting a password in the standard way.I cannot do that now because because I have to sign in via Google. Can I delete the account altogether and start a new one where I can specify an email using my domain and choosing a password?Please advise me.
