Closed Captioning

Hello,

Recently an attendee used the closed captions feature in a meeting. We were unaware that this feature was available and noticed that there were permissions for the user to obtain a transcript of the meeting.

Is there a way to find out which attendee initiated closed captioning?

The account used to host the meeting is a premium account. The attendees only have free accounts.

Thank you!

There is no built-in way to identify who requested to turn captioning on. You could reach out to Zoom support to see if they can help. They have more visibility than we do. There's a chance that due to privacy issues that even if they can see that info on their side, that they won't be able to legally share it.
