I am an admin of a channel that I created.  We've had some changes in our department.  Is there a way to delete members from an existing channel?  I can add, but I don't see any info from help about deleting members.

I run a music school in Lagos, Nigeria and we teach clients across the world on zoom. Since the most recent zoom upgrade, we have been experiencing a serious degredation of audio with regards to instruments that is threatening the viability of our online lessons.    We can hear the speech of our students very clearly but the minute they start to play on their instrument,  there is no sound at all. It's like the sound settings are optimised for speech and not for instruments. We have tried adjusting the settings on both our end and the students end so we are not compressing background noise and original sound for musicians is on, to no avail.  In fact, switching on original sound appears to make things worse. Hi. I installed a fresh OS of Ubuntu 23.10 today, I cannot install the Ubuntu deb package due to dependency issues.  Note, selecting 'zoom' instead of '/zoom_amd64.deb' Some packages could not be installed. When I try adding a Polycom VVX 250 to the device list, the model number isn't l listed under Poly in the dropdown menus.

Hi,  I want to conduct multiple sessions over Zoom such that: 1. Only participants logging in using certain email ids are allowed to enter the meeting2. The entry and exit time of each participant is recorded 3. The meeting should allow around a 120 participants Is this possible to do with Zoom free basic version. Can anyone help me with Whiteboard Collaboration? I want to use Zoom whiteboard to teach my online lessons but I cannot work out how to give participants 'edit' access. I've tried by opening the whiteboard in the meeting and checking the 'allow users to collaborate' box but the participant either gets an error message or the whiteboard opens as view only. It's really frustrating as I assume that collaboration is the whole point of the whiteboard?! I'd like my students to be able to write onto it. When I go into my settings the 'whiteboard sharing default' has the access level set to 'viewer' with 'commenter' and 'editor' greyed out. Please help me!!!!

I am using Zoom version 5.17.2 on a Mac desktop and laptop. When I go to unmute a message pops up that says "AI Companion is using the conversation transcript". I need to hit OK to unmute. I don't recall having this message in the past. Can someone tell me what is going on?

I updated my Zoom client and now my screen looks like the attached image. I have already done the following to troubleshoot. Updated drivers Reinstalled the zoom client Restarted my computer Verified that my camera software works properly when I am not using zoom. Anyone have advice?

I am hosting a meeting. Once my client is accepted from the waiting room, he will be in the group and then disappear. In a very short time, he will be back in the meeting without going through the waiting room/admission process.  From his end, he describes it as cycling between being in the meeting and looking at my invitation. This does not happen with any of my other clients. He is using his phone, but I have other clients who use their phones without issue. Can anyone help? I've tried looking into the support, but I haven't found anything helpful. I don't want to lose my client, but he is struggling to stay connected because of this issue.Thanks,Kirsten

Hello all, I've been working on a Zoom event for the past few months. I came back from the holidays, and I'm no longer able to edit it or access it. I can see my event under the Manage Events section. Normally, I would click the edit button to edit the event. Now, it shows an error "Please complete your Host Profile Settings".  I've chatted with support and followed all directions to "update my host profile settings". It is still not working. Any ideas?

I was in the middle of a meeting that had been going for an hour and I received a Zoom popup message saying, "You have been signed out because your account is signed in from another device". Very odd, as this wasn't the case. All my devices were with me in the room and switched off. My meeting continued as normal. Never seen this before, was it a security issue?

Is there a way to promote a registrant to a webinar panelist before they join the meeting? I know I can invite/import a list of panelists but not everyone will attend the meeting virtually and by adding them manually, it will likely create confusion.  I know I can promote them once they join but that is challenging to do with 50+ participants.Ideally, once someone has registered, I would like to be able to designate them a panelist so when they do join the webinar, they will have the proper status. Thanks.

I would like to know if Zoom allows for hosting multiple conferences simultaneously with the same account. In other words, scheduling several video conferences at the same time with different hosts using the same account. Is this possible, or is there a specific plan that enables this? Regards.

I haven't tried Vanity URL yet, but I have a question.If I generate a Vanity URL and customize the webinar's joining screen, will the default URL and screen still be usable?If it's possible to use both, I would appreciate it if you could tell me how to switch between the URLs and screens to be used.

In an important event, I recorded to cloud. I forgot to turn on "Record active speaker, gallery view and shared screen separately". As the slides are shared all the time, the speaker view is always at the corner. Is it possible to recover such separate views after the meeting? This is really important for me. Thanks!

Dear community, A few days ago I attended a meeting. I am neither the organizer, host or co-host. Every participant is visible to everyone. So when I click on participants I see myself first then the host followed by the co-hosts and then the participants. Suddenly a participant ID appears after my name. The ID only appears after my name, the other participants are only described as host or co-host. Starting today, I am experiencing a situation that never happened before. After a 40 minutes meeting session, when I try to reconnect, I'm told to wait 10 minutes before being able to reconnect. Is this a new (unexpected) feature of Zoom Meetings, or was it some kind of error?
