Hi everyone, my session controls are supposed to look like image 1 but look like image 2 how do I add the missing controls?
This has happened on 2 separate occasions. I have a room setup with separate mixer and mics, audio interface etc. video camera and playback devices through a video switcher and sound reinforcement in the room. Everything sounds great except twice, the outgoing audio has become distorted to the zoom participants. The audio signal path is clean from mic to audio interface. Since I don't monitor the actual zoom audio, I never know this is happening until people start complaining that it is distorted. To remedy the problem, I have to leave the meeting and rejoin.
I am running the latest version of Zoom (5.10.6) on Ubuntu 18.04 and as of this morning Zoom is no longer able to viewmy camera output (Logitech C525). Other applications are able to view the camera output but not Zoom. When I select my C525 camera for video the screen is black. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the application multiple times. Are device permissions stored under /opt/zoom for things like cameras? Thanks!
We are a K12 Education entity and have times where we are connecting to official meetings that use Zoom. We are having issues with the majority of our users not being able to download attachments from the meetings. Typically they are on a Windows PC that has our Internet Filter software installed. However, I do not have the software installed on my test machine here in the Technology Department, and I am able to download the same attachments without an issue. We can also remove the filter from a machine having the issue, and it will resolve the problem... but that is not an option. So I know the correct this issue, we need to unblock whatever CDN that zoom uses to host their file attachments during the meeting. Does anyone have this list of sites they use (or IPs) that we can add to our filter to correct the issue? As a followup, because my reply to my own post didn't show up, we have already added: zoom.uszoom.commeetzoom.netcloudfron
Many users like us have conference room set ups with the camera located below TV. During a presentation when the screen or slides are being shared, everyone is now looking up to the top of the screen, the farthest possible from the camera, to see and converse with other meeting participants. Please add a View Option that locates participants to bottom of the ZOOM presentation. This seems very simple to implement and add to other View options menu that exists today. Side note--I realize you can drag and drop the window with participant camera view to wherever needed, including bottom of the screen. But this method overlays the participants on top of the presentation being shared and causes other issues. A simple View option as described above is much cleaner.
I have noticed recently that some of the meetings I have scheduled are now appearing twice (in one case three times). The 'extra' meetings have a different meeting ID/Zoom link than the original meeting, and individual users have been invited to these 'extra' meetings (I don't ever invite people to a meeting via the Zoom app).I also recently added a 'Save the Date' for an in-person conference to my calendar, and that, too, is now showing up in my Zoom meetings (even though it is not a Zoom meeting). Once again, individual users are showing up in this meeting in Zoom (it looks like the same people who accepted the calendar invite I sent via Outlook).Any idea what might be going on? I can't seem to find an answer. I didn't do anything to update/change settings between my Outlook calendar and my Zoom account and now I have all these extra meetings showing up...
I have the Workplace Pro Plan. Does this plan give me access to the breakout rooms? I have a meeting scheduled for tonight and need to have 2 breakout rooms. Is this possible with my current plan?
How do I get the virtual backgrounds and filters. I search some places that say click "studio effects" to download ...but the link is not active.
Hi all, I'm trying to figure out how to schedule a meeting for my boss where he is the host and I don't have to be on the zoom meeting. I've upgraded my account and it's attached to my bosses account as instructed to me by the Zoom sales team but it's been a few weeks now and when I ask the Zoom representatives how to do this they only send me articles on how to schedule a meeting normally. They've been less than helpful, ignoring follow up emails and as of this moment I've been on hold for 45 min. So, it's pretty much that simple. My account (supposedly) has admin capabilities attached to my bosses account however I have no idea how to schedule zoom meetings for him where he is the host, anything I try to schedule automatically puts me as the host and these are calls I don't need to or can't be on. Thank you in advance!
I was on a Zoom meeting earlier today which appeared to be hacked. This did not appear to simply be a troll or other bad actor in the room. The video for multiple attendees changed to unwanted images and everyone's audio was overridden whether they were muted or not.
zoom会议开启字幕但是中英文无法实时翻译
So my Japanese is not fluent, but I have many different Zoom meeting in Japanese every day. I would like to be able to have the live Captions translated into English, or using AI to translate voice. Is anyone here aware of any solutions to this? The Zoom translated captions require the Host to enable them, so that is out - I can not convince a 100 managers to enable it. It should be something I do as a client, even if I have to pay. Obviously I can use my phone, "Microsoft Translator" and have it translate live, but that isn't great in a headphone only situation. I can probably cook something up with a pseudo audio device and pipe into other software... But it seems this would be one of the first things you would want with Zoom?
Hello, we work in Turkey and most of our meeting are in Turkish. We have new foreigner colleague. He needs to simultaneous translation of the meetings. When he manually opens translation to English, it really does not work. Subtitle of the Turkish version works well but it does not translate into English good. How can we solve this problem? Do we need to do something else or do you have any other suggestions to make him understand simultaneously?
Can someone please point me in the direction of removing the captions. I don't want the captions at the bottom of the video. Looking through the settings, I don't see the option to remove. Inserting a screenshot below. Screenshot here
When calls are made through the Zoom Phone/Hubspot integration and if their number is not associated with a contact, the call will not show in the Hubspot call log (activities). This behaves differently from Hubspots own phone system (where they show up as 'unknown') and would skew any inbound call volume statistic reports in hubspot.
I received the email a few days ago telling me I needed to re-authenticate by Feb 1st Maybe I am being an idiot, but I don't know what I am supposed to do in order to complete this task? I have gone to the Zoom Events for Hubspot app in the Zoom App Marketplace, but then what do I do? There are images relating to adding the email addresses, but that's step 2.
hi, everyone, i have problem whith my chromebook i dont make calls. The phone option does not appear in the application on my chromebook, could you help me with this please. Greetings to all
I have been working through the process and documentation to upgrade our Zoom for Salesforce plugin to the newer Zoom for Lightning plugin. I've been through the various steps to install it into our Salesforce org from the AppExchange, and then working through the Zoom documentation to customize it. When I get to the instructions for Setting up user access for the Zoom for Salesforce Lightning app, I look in Salesforce Setup at Manage Connected Apps, but Zoom does not show up there. So when my users try to log in to the Zoom call center within Salesforce, from the Utility Bar, they see a message: "Warning: The current product is not active." I tried opening a ticket with Zoom Support, but they just sent me here to the Forums. I'm hoping someone has an idea of what I might be missing. Thank you.
Using the Outlook connector to schedule zoom meetings. When scheduling a meeting it keeps defaulting to Personal Meeting ID and I have to change it to Generate Automatically and if I forget it sends out my personal meeting id which I do not want to do. Is there a setting somewhere that will force new meetings to use the "Generate Automatically" option?
Hi everyone, Is SMS to short codes not supported by Zoom Phone? We have rolled Zoom Phone for about 5 months now and I've observed that our users can receive SMS from short codes just fine but they can not reply. If anyone attempts to reply or send a new SMS to short code they get an error. 10DLC works just fine both in and out for SMS and our users love it but for some reason we can not SEND SMS to short codes; just receive? For example, Samsung 74863 or any other 5-digit long legit U.S. short code. ThanksBoyan
Suddenly the email links to meetings no longer work - I go to the zoom page but it stops there. If I go to the web page and put in the link, I go to a zoom sign in page but a pop up window saying I should allow the camera and mike comes up and locks the screen. Yesterday I didn't have any issues but today I do.. I can't find a way to make zoom work. Suggestions? thanks
I cannot get into any of the Zoom meetings that are set up in my calendar. My VA linked my calendar to Zoom. I signed up my Zoom account with Google Sign in, and I'm signing in the same way on my computer/app. When I click on the zoom link to start the meeting, it always says "Waiting for Host to Join" - but I am the host. I just updated my app, but we can't find the solution here - what am I missing?
But they put users in waiting room still . I set my apis like that, although waiting room is false but they put ... any one knows why??? data = { "topic": f"{row['type']} with {row['matenick']} and {row['usernick']}", "type": 2, # reserved meeting "start_time": start_time_iso, "duration": int(row['time']), #by minutes "settings": { "join_before_host": True, "mute_upon_entry": True, "waiting_room": False, "auto_recording": "cloud", "recording_audio_transcription": True, } }
Hi,I've really tried everything, but it's still not working. I did the following steps—could you please check if I missed anything?I’m using the Pro plan and I want to create a meeting via API where two other participants can join without me being present. To achieve this, I disabled the Waiting Room in my Account Settings.I understand that I must enable either a passcode, authentication, or a waiting room. So, I set up my API configuration as follows and wrote a Python function accordingly:def create_meeting(access_token, row😞 url = f"https://api.zoom.us/v2/users/me/meetings" headers = { 'Authorization': f'Bearer {access_token}', 'Content-Type': 'application/json' } start_time = row['meeting_date'] start_time_iso = start_time.strftime("%Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%S") # ISO 8601 format alternative_hosts = ",".join([row["email1"], row["email2"]]) &n
Annotate icon was never present during my screen share meetings before. Now that it is here, it is anchored in the bottom left and I cannot find a setting to disable it for the host(which is what I would like to do). I host meetings where I display server logs, and all linux commands for navigating are typed at the bottom left of the screen - directly behind the annotate icon that now displays along with the green outline. The green outline can be turned off, but annotate apparently not. I can no longer see the text I am typing in the bottom left of a server log. Why can I only disable annotate for attendees? What if I don't want it at all? Can I at least move it?
