I like to record Zoom meetings for podcasts, but my computer has lately been restarting itself randomly. I'm worried that if it does this while I am recording, I will lose all the material I have recorded. Is there a way I can prevent this from happening in the event my computer does restart spontaneously during a recording? Will it make a difference if I record locally or to the cloud?Please reply soon as I'm doing my next recording this Sunday! Thank you.

When I was the host for an MNC series of webinars on HVAC topics,  I was told that it is not advisable to have a breakout room as the audience may be too large to handle? But when I tried it out during one of the webinars,  I noticed it is possible to do so but you need to prepare your breakout room in advance. You need to do some management of likeminded participant to ensure the audience do not get passive in their interactions. Do share what are your strategies for keeping your breakout room engaged and participative especially for the shy Asian audiences.

Yesterday we hosted webinar. There were problems with receiving link to join, especially for people who we manually approved the day (they didn't receive it). What could be wrong? Notifications were set for one day and one hour before the webinar. Later that day, two hours after we finished our webinar, Zoom send another invitation for that webinar to everyone - why would it send it again after its done?   Thank you.

Seriously Zoom's products are pretty great compared to the competition but I don't understand how they are missing the most basic functionality on something so simple. You have day, work week, week, and agenda views, but no monthly view? Would love to see this added.

I’m on a Mac using iCal for calendaring. My clients use Outlook (about half Mac and half Windows). What’s the best way for me to send meeting notices for Zoom meetings that will show up in their Outlook calendars? Thanks.

When creating an invite, we used to link the add to calendar to our confirmation letter that went out. Now when we click the link to add these events to the Outlook Calendar we get this, does anyone know how to fix this issue so it goes back to link to calendar?

Upon the conclusion of a meeting, we get the AI Companion Summary (which we love), but it doesn't include the attendees or some field that we can use to link this and import it or add it to the CRM system.   We have explored multiple ways to get the AI Summary on the Contact in FreshSales, including Zapier, which currently doesn't support this. The only solution we see is manually attaching the AI Companion Summary to the Contact in our CRM.   We looked at the Zoom Workflows and then using Zapier to put it on the account.  We would forward the AI Companion Summary to a designated email address, and when we forward, we would include the contact's email address in the body that should be put in our CRM.  Then Zapier would run this into the CRM.  This still requires a user to remember to do this, and at that point, they might as well manually attach it to the CRM.   Has anyone done this successfully?  If so, how did you

I am planning to run a zoom interactive workshop in mid april through ticket taylor . I will thinking that I will upgrade my package from zoom business pro to include an add on for a monthly webinar at the start of april . I am trying to avoid the cost of setting this up now but need the webinar link to put on advertising and the ticket Taylor platform .Having never done a workshop/  webinar before , do you set this up as just a meeting  ? If so I can do this as I have access to via my business pro subscription or do i need to stop being tight with my money and buy it now to get the code. Hope that makes sense. Michelle 

Hi,we noticed a change in Zoom's handling of emails: it no longer seems possible to customize the sender name.Lately it is "Zoom" while for us it is important to be able to decide the name of the service we provide through Zoom.How can we change it?  Thanks

I am hosting a meeting that I probably should have set up as a webinar. I need to send everyone a thank you and follow up email but I can’t figure out how to do that on zoom or how to get all of the emails that have registered and out them in outlook or gmail. Please help.  

Zoom has been awesome for remote work, but it has always been annoying that participants can only see chat comments posted after they join a call. Because of this... Links to meeting minutes get posted to chat multiple times at the start of meetings so people who joined later can see them. When introductions are done in chat, people joining a few minutes late don't see introductions they missed. When switching a Zoom call between phone and laptop, chat history if lost. If you get dropped from a call and re-join, you lose all of the chat history. It's not clear who can see which parts of the chat when not everyone was on the call from the beginning. Ideally, the chat history for a Zoom call (i.e., all chat comments to everyone since the call started) would be visible to everyone else, regardless of when they joined (or re-joined) the call. A host could post a link to meeting minutes and not worry about latecomers not having the link.   Will Zoom ever let people see chat comm

Is there a way to automatically export meeting data, comparing invited guests with actual participants, without using VLOOKUP in Excel? I just spent a great deal of time adding contacts in the Personal Contacts List because I didn't want to link to my gmail contact list.  But, when scheduling a meeting, it doesn't seem to pull data from the Personal Contacts List.  What am I missing?  What's the point of a Personal Contact List if you can't use it to invite people to a zoom meeting?

The URL for a regular meeting has disappeared.・Can I go back to a past meeting and set the same URL as a regular meeting again?・Why did the URL disappear even though I never had a regular meeting?

Hello!I am trying to generate a meeting registration report, and when I enter the meeting ID or the date of the meeting it shows no data. It also shows no data as a result when I search for meetings I have already generated registration reports for in the past. Why is the registration report not generating properly? Can I set a recurring meeting...only for to "the first two" Thursdays of every month?Not weekly, not biweekly.. the first two only, and using the same dial in??We should be able to set this up ourselves.  I do not want to confuse my members .. Help. 

As is stated, I am using an application to share pictures and videos to a second monitor, and am using zoom to share that second monitor. However sometimes after sharing, and sometimes not even after sharing, i cannot click back into zoom without the 2nd screen going black. Anyone have any idea as to why this might be or if there is a fix?
