Hello,I am a student on a Northshore District School laptop. Whenever I try to host a meeting it says that zoom is unavailable for America. How do I fix that with the restrictions I have on a School laptop?

Over the last few days, my audio goes out during meetings on my laptop.  It does it on its own.  I am not touching the keyboard at all.   I have not changed any settings.   If I close out the session and relaunch, the audio is good at first but then goes out again.  It takes less than a minute after logging on for it to occur. I cleared the cache and that didn’t help.  I reinstalled the app and that didn’t help.  My drivers are up to date and I have plenty of capacity on my laptop.  I tried different headsets.  There is no difference, and I can listen to online videos without any problem.  This also happens when I change the source from headset to computer speaker.  I don't have this problem on my other computer.  The maker of the computer with this problem checked it for any errors or settings issues, and nothing was found to be a problem.  Other software programs work f

Dear Zoom Team,I am writing to suggest an improvement to the language interpretation feature in Zoom. I work with multilingual meetings where interpreters often need to temporarily address the main room — for example, to ask the speaker a question, make a clarification, or assist the host in real time.Currently, when interpreters are assigned to a language channel, their voice is not heard in the main room. To be heard, they must manually leave their interpretation channel (by selecting "Off" in the Interpretation menu), speak, and then rejoin their assigned language. While this workaround exists, it is inconvenient, disruptive, and technically confusing for many interpreters — especially in fast-paced meetings.Suggested Improvement:Please consider adding a simple toggle for interpreters that allows them to:Temporarily speak to the main room (all participants),And then return to their interpretation channel with one click or shortcut.T

I'm currently combining two subaccounts into one parent account.Let's say abc.com is the parent account domain.Both @Abc.com and xyz.com are mixed together in the two subaccounts.I continue to take the following actions:When I add and invite a user on the parent account whose domain is abc.com, the user should choose "Consolidate into Account" because his domain is the same as the parent account's.Similarly, when I add and invite a user on the parent account, whose domain is xyz.com, the user should choose "Update Email Address" because domain is the different from the parent account's.Additionally, under the association Domain section under account management >> account profile, I find three options: Manage users with the same domain Allow users with the same domain to consolidate into this account Allow us

How do I transfer a local recording (on PC) to the cloud to be able to transcribe it pls?

dear friends, during the last months I re-used a link that I have shared with people all around te word by adjusting the dates. So the  link was made for a february meeting and then I opened the link again and connected it with a March date. I did this in the planning screen. But this seems not possible anymore. Can somebody give me a tip? 

I recorded a zoom meeting, with the host's permission.  I ended up with two files of a few KB each (an audio and a video M4A), and a 1 KB conf file on my computer. I used zoom with the application on my Windows laptop, but I didn't log in to zoom. How do I get the the recording?Thanks in advance for your help!

I paid $371 for Zoom webinar capability on May 5, 2025. Yet when I go into my account to set up a webinar, the only option I get is for me to buy yet another webinar capability. I'M REALLY TICKED ABOUT THIS. Hello! I'm experiencing issues with keyboard input during remote control sessions in Zoom meetings, and it seems related to Wayland. System configuration:OS -> Ubuntu 22.04XDG_SESSION_TYPE=waylandKeyboard Layout -> English (US)Zoom 6.4.6 (1370) Together with a colleague, who has the same system configuration, we tested all the combinations of Wayland and X11 environments. Only the X11 -> X11 setup worked correctly for us. I have the role 'Owner' for our company account.  When I look at future meetings of other users on the https://zoom.us/meeting#/upcoming page I can only see some of them.  All of us are licensed, all other users are 'Members'.  Any ideas on how to see all members?Thanks for the help.  

This discussion format isn't very helpful if I can't post a screen shot. In any case there's a new Zoom button that appears in the lower lefthand corner of the screen when I'm sharing my screen in a Zoom meeting, and it effectively blocks the Mac finder button, which is in the same place, and which I would like to use to access documents I want to share on my screen. What workarounds do people recommend?

To check the voicemail on a shared line you need to dial the phone number of the shared line, then wait until voicemail answers, then press 2 and enter your pin. The primary problems are, Wiating until voicemail picks up takes too long.Hoping that nobody else will answer the call every time the user wants to check voicemail.  Is there really no better way for a user to check their voicemail from the phone? 

Hi everyone, An issue that has arisen today - I'm hosting lots of upcoming events and was running some of the technical rehearsals today with some of the panelists but none of them were able to join the practice session as they were going into the attendees list. Help! It worked for one when I deleted their original link and sent them a new panellists one but I don't want to have to do this for all of the other panelists. Many thanks, Kimberley

Many of my Zoom webinar attendees reported that the links that I was shared with them on Chat were not clickable and they were also not able to copy that.  I have been conducting webinars for months and same links with htpps:// I have been sharing since then.  But this issue was reported yesterday by many of the participants. I got the testing done and found that issue was existing for all the users who are accessing Zoom using Androp Mobile. Their broswer and Zoom app are  uptodate. Links are clickable on laptops and iphone. One more observation I found in the testing that the issue is only for WEBINAR that is accessed by Android Mobile users. Same users are able to click links if shared in Zoom meeting. So clickability issue is with Zoom webinar product used in Android mobile user.   Please let me know if someone

I host 2 weekly meetings. Both are recorded to the Zoom cloud. After the 2 meetings, I access my online account to download the recordings. The first works okay. It automatically downloads the single file (not 3) to my download folder on my computer, no obvious way to direct it to a different folder. Small annoyance.The major problem is that the 2nd recording doesn't download to my computer unless I exit the site and return. This is more than an annoyance. Is this a bug in the system or is there something else I can do to more easily access the 2nd (or any other subsequent) recording?

Hi, Im running Zoom app on PC Win 11 (PC Acer Aspire 5), I can participate in meetings and sound and kameravideo works fine, but when the host is sharing a video from youtube or similar sharing, I have no or very scratchy sound.Participants running pc with win 10 doesnt have these problems, only me running win 11 Do you have any suggestions how to solve it in an easy way

Is there a way to change it so that when we screen share in a Teams meeting within a Zoom Room that we can have 1 screen show the active speaker and the other screen show the shared content as opposed to both screens showing the shared content?

Hi all I've earched the topics and couldn't find an anwser.  I set up or phone system with DND Sync On so that users could press DND either on their phones of app. Great. But I've run into an issue where users who also have the mobile app cannot mute or DND just the app while in the office. Quitting the mobie app does NOT work, any incoming calls will launch the app.I've tried turing off DND Sync, but DND still sysnces between the mobile and desktop app. I've also seen the mute call queue function in the app - which is close to what I want but it is a faff to get to and you need to press Cancel to set your choice - not very intuitive. How do we DND or just Quit the mobile app so users can elect not to receive calls on their mobiles while at their desk.CheersPFM

Hi All, I purchased the Zoom Workplace Pro plan (1 user, annual billing), and it shows as active under my account. However, my meetings are still ending after 40 minutes. I am the account holder, but I’m not seeing a clear way to assign the license to myself under User Management. When I click “Edit,” I don’t see the option to change my user type to “Licensed.” I see no way to send an email to Zoom support about this issue on their site so that I can ask them to assist with confirming that my Pro license is properly assigned to my account and for help resolving the 40-minute meeting limit issue. Thoughts? Thank you, Marc
