I'm trying to download zoom meetings on my iMac desktop. My operating system is High Sierra 10.13.6. It says zoom requires 10.14 or higher. Is there an old download that zoom can send me? I need to use zoom for my assignments. Thank you. D
It looks like Zoom has determined that the entire world is incorrect with the definition of "Minimize" and has taken it upon themselves to rewrite the definition, for their own purposes. When you click minimize and you expect it to, um, I don't know....MINIMIZE, it instead gives you a little useless window that has top focus above your other apps. Well, here is my personal opinion: #FAIL It's really just a bad idea. How do I disable this annoying "feature"? Please, for the love of God, just MAKE. IT. GO. AWAY.
I am no longer receiving email summaries from the AI companion. Looks like they are in the chat but not via email. When reviewing the settings I do not see the following setting: (Optional) Select the checkbox next to Include the full summary text in the email sent to users to send the full summary as part of the email to appropriate recipients." Also in AI Companion Managment Summary List the "share" button is not longer enabled. Edit and Delete are enabled and active. Any REAL HUMAN assistance is appreciated! Barry
My co-workers and I frequently send files through Zoom chats. How do I change the location where those files are saved on my desktop when I download them? I'm using a Mac. Thanks!
I have a Pro account that I established year or so ago via the laptop I was using until recently. I bought a new laptop and installed Zoom thereon. Now when I join a meeting that I scheduled, I get an email telling me that "David has joined the meeting". I am "David", the owner of the Zoom account that organized these meetings! This never happened before on my old laptop - and moving to the new laptop is the only thing that changed. While this may not suggest any issue exists with my account, it makes me wonder about it. Any suggestions as to why this is happening and how to make it go away? Thanks much. Dave
Hey everyone,Sometimes I got a black screen on my laptop during share screen but it only started two weeks ago, I also downloaded the new zoom version 5.9.3 back then and today I downloaded the newer version 5.9.6 3799.While the screen is black I can close the share screen option after pressing the Windows button and then clicking fast on stop sharing but I still got some weird jittering images on the screen and then only restart of the computer helps.I am using a new computer of ASUS - Windows 10 with Intel iris Xe Graphic card and Intel i7 CPU./Thanks for your help🙏
my laptop microphone used to allow others in the zoom meeting to hear me speak. a few months ago, a red triangle appeared over the mic icon and others could no longer hear me. this popped up: 'Your browser is preventing access to your microphone. Learn how to allow access to your microphone.' i use edge and have windows 11 in s mode.i tried my best to check what i could, i am not that tech savvy. i checked the site permissions, allowed apps to access my microphone, checked the network sound settings. i even reset my laptop to factory default settings. nothing has worked. please help. ty!
How do you disable the confirmation prompt when leaving/ending a meeting you're hosting? Hi. I finally have a macropad and want to build some Zoom keys. My first one should be one-click to exit a Zoom meeting. I know:ALT-Q is the standard keyboard shortcutIt can be made globalIn the General options, you can disable confirmation when leaving a meeting, but this only works if you're a guestUpon issuing an exit commandIf you're a guest, focus shifts to the red Leave Meeting button and you can press Enter (most of the time)If you're a host, focus shifts to the red End Meeting for All button and you can press Enter (most of the time) Mapping ALT-Q into a macropad key and disable confirmation when leaving a meeting, we're good if you're a guest. But I host as many (more?) meetings as I attend, and it doesn't work there. Hi! I have all of the basic chat settings on for our account but not able to save the chats or take screenshots of them. For some reason when I am hosting a zoom I can see the chat feature on the host panel, but the attendees do not see the chat option. And if I send them a chat direct message they do not receive it. What is going on? What setting could I have missed or do they need to do something on their ends? Thanks!

When I schedule a meeting or accept an invitation to a meeting the invite shows up in my calendar but the invite doesn't include the link for me to cclick on to open the meeting. And I don't receive email confirmations for "My meeting" Does anyoen else have this problem or kinwo how it can be resolved?

Zoom always resets my microphone input volume to about 1/4 of the maximum volume when I launch it. This means people in meetings can't hear me properly until I remember this silliness has happened and go to settings to increase my microphone input volume. I'm getting tired of this behaviour. Is there a way to make Zoom remember the last input volume (or a preselected input volume)? Thanks in advance for any help.
Does anyone know if it's possible to download multiple recordings from the Zoom cloud to an external hard drive all at once or do you have to download each one individually? Thanks!
I have a pro account, and I follow the directions to make someone a co host (click participants, hover over someone's name, and choose "make a co-host"), but I do not have that option when I hover. Can anyone help with this? Thank you very much. Michael Z
We have been utilizing several different platforms for instant messaging/chat outside of meetings including Zoom.We're now moving to standardize on a single platform (not Zoom) and we have users asking if there is a way that they can export or download their conversation history with colleagues and save it locally on their machine.The copy/paste into a Google/Word doc is a cumbersome and time-consuming option and we're hoping there is a better path that someone has found. Ideally this would be something each end-user could do as some channel/chats are not important to export/save. Suggestions? Thanks in advance for any guidance.
We have been experiencing several Zoom meetings over the last several weeks that have been getting "unstable network connections" and freezing video and audio. We had not been experiencing this for the last several years here in the office with multiple calls happening every day. Our internet connections speeds have remained very fast and showing no issues during the same time these zoom issues occur. Is there something we should look at on our Network Firewall that could be impacting this? We recently did update our Firewall on our network. Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated.
My zoom recording only captured audio via m4a file. Is there any way to view the video ? Perhaps convert it to an MP4? I tried a third-party tool Zamzar - - it converted it to MP4 - but still no video.it was an announcement from my 93 year old mom. Any help would be so greatly appreciated!

Hello! I recently began to use zoom to schedule meetings regularly, but I have noticed that when typing in the 'attendee' field to schedule a meeting, there's no option to just choose from my actual contacts list or autofill. Given how often we hold the meetings and the amount of people, it's a bit tedious to copy/paste each individual email address. Given how common a feature autofilling contacts is, how do I do this on my Zoom account? I already have contacts saved in my personal contacts list, but that doesn't seem to do anything.
When I am sharing a screen, If I can see the floating meeting controls and the video panel, those items block part of the screen I am trying to share, like part of a powerpoint slide. Is there a way I can share a screen with the floating meeting controls and the video panel visible on my screen but not have them block part of the shared screen the participants see?

I had a meeting in Feb. where the host gave me permission to record. He directed me where to find record and I clicked it. We then proceeded the meeting. When we were done he said that I would get an email from zoom of the recording. I never received the the email. Also, I didn't have an account at the time. I contacted the host about not getting an email an he said that he does not have the recording. I have also searched my computer and nothing is there. Is the recording completely gone?
