I have a dual display setup—one 4K monitor and another 1080x1920. When I turn on the camera, CPU usage goes above 60%, which also slows down screen sharing. When I turn off the camera, CPU usage returns to normal and screen sharing works fine. Is there any way to handle this?
Hello.I do online piano lessons.My zoom does not do stereo. I have "original sound for musicians" selectedAnd also "stereo audio" I have 2 microphones hooked up through a focusrite audio interface.When I unhook one of the mics and do a "test microphone" I hear the play back coming back from BOTH speakers. My audio interface is working fine. When I use a normal audio recording software such as pro-tools, left and right microphones are honored. Can someone help me troubleshoot? Thank you 🙂Noam
Hi there,I'm after some advice. I recently recorded myself giving 1-hour lecture whilst sharing PowerPoint slide decks with my video in the top right-hand corner of the screen. When I visited the recording, I can see that it captured my video in the top hand corner but is missing my slide deck - the screen just says "playing picture in picture".Can anyone advise whether I have lost the content and may need to re-record?ThanksBrooke
Hi, we are hoping for some guidance. We are setting up zoom meetings, and adjusting the settings so everyone it muted as they come into the meeting. however attendees continuously unmute themselves and start talking over the presenter. Is there a way to make it so an attendee can not unmute unless the admin unmutes them?
Can I obtain the meeting log that shows who shared their screen during the session?
I've noticed when managing or creating new User Roles for our admins, that the Phone System Management section is just all all for one or none for all. We can either enable the role full access to the entire phone system or no access at all. We have admins of different levels, but even our lowest level creates accounts and assigns licensing, so they need to access Phone System Management to add a user to the phone system, as well as the appropriate license for the user. However, they don't need the ability to go into Auto Receptionists or Call Queues and make changes. I'd love for the role permissions in the Phone System Management be expanded to let us get more granular.
After finishing a Zoom Webinar in Zoom Events (with one session) am I able to retrieve the Q&A questions that were submitted by the audience? I can retrieve a Q&A Count in Reports, but cannot retrieve the full questions themselves.
Hello All. We use Zoom Webinar for our training events. I do recordings the same way each time. The recording window is maximized when I start the recordings and stays maximized all the way through. When I open the recordings later sometimes the windows are maximized and sometimes the widows are smaller. Has anyone dealt with this issue and if so how did you resolve it? Also for the smaller screen recordings is there a way to make those maximized without reducing the quality of the video? Thanks for your help in advance.
When I connect an external monitor, the camera does NOT rotate in landscape mode (in the external monitor using DEX). I can turn the device and it might lock for a few moments, however when I interact with the app it reverts back to 90 degrees I've tried all the possible settings in the Galaxy Tab S8 and the Zoom meeting app (Version 6.4.11.30526), without success. It works great on Google Meet without issue. Can you help?
Hello! I can not figure out how to enable AI Companion Summaries to be automatically sent to the host, myself. I have this checked and enabled in the settings but it is telling me that I have disabled certain AI Companion Summary options, but won't tell me what. I can also not Share AI Summaries because it says I need to enable email notifications, which are all enabled. Please help!
Would it be possible to have an email with the next steps that arrives automatically with the transcription or sent via Zapier?
I had a long meeting with several stakeholders and we resolved a lot of issues, however, the AI companion was set to start and didnt - I assume it was capturing details and would send me a smart summary - it did not. Is there any way of capturing the meeting summary, recap and topics and actions? Will be very disappointed if I cannot get them. Any help would be appreciated.ThanksDecaln
I noticed that when using the AI Companion for notetaking/meeting summary and trying to record the meeting at the same time, none of my recordings are available. This is frustrating clients. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

Is there any possible way to prevent users from using their individual voice numbers for Online Fax while still allowing them to use the Call Queue number? We have a department that has high turnover and deals with the public for processing government paperwork. We want to prevent the use of their personal line to send/receive faxes as that may allow missed filings if submissions come in after an employee separation occurs. Plus when that extension is re-assigned it may go to another employee that doesn't need to fax and we want to avoid that number being circulated and the new employee receives a bunch of annoying inbound fax attempts.
I'm on mac 15.6. Zoom workplace: 6.5.9I seem to no longer be able to add a zoom meeting to my Calendar on my mac. I used to be able to do this last week. How do I fix this?This is so incredibly aggravating. Why is zoom wasting my time like this trying to figure out their broke software? Where is the quality control?
Hi, Two bugs I've noticed that are not fixed in the latest version of the Zoom client, which I updated a few minutes ago, when used with Kubuntu 25.04. First, if I'm in a Zoom meeting, and I resize ANOTHER window, such as Firefox, the resizing process never seems to end, the window size jitters back and forth, and the window becomes unusable. Only way out of the situation is to kill the process for the other window. Doesn't ever happen when zoom is NOT running. Trivially repeatable, no special steps, just run vanilla Kubuntu 25.04. Only workaround is to avoid resizing any windows during a meeting. Have not tried testing with other distributions. I had found some tweaks that could be applied to KDE to "fix" the problem by forcibly adjusting the behavior of Zoom's windows, but they don't seem to actually work. Second, minor nit pick, the Linux client doesn't seem to remember that I prefer Gallery View, so I have to switch it every time. Thanks, Sarah

We’re genuinely concerned about the removal of the feature that allowed us to easily monitor and access individual chats. In meetings with several hundred participants, this tool was incredibly helpful in identifying who messaged us and responding promptly.Without it, we’re now forced to scroll through thousands of messages, making it difficult and time-consuming to locate specific chats. This change has significantly impacted our ability to manage communication efficiently during large sessions.We’re hoping you’ll consider restoring this feature—or offering an alternative solution—so we can continue to facilitate smooth and responsive interactions. Is this possible? This new update is horrible for my productivity. The drop down for dates and times versus tabbing through them and typing is not what I want, and it no longer connects to my iCal like it used to, making me have to manually add every single meeting to my calendar. Can I just go back to the last version? Or is there a setting to revert these changes? Driving me crazy.
Hi! I know this is something that can be done on zoom webinar but I wanted to see if there is any way I can download the sessions on Zoom events and edit them together. When I open Zoom app in a Samsung tablet, I select login using my google account, it redirects to a web browser to show login screen. The button to log back to the app is not working (doing nothing after clicking on it)

We have this scenario where a "personal" Zoom Room for an executive using an office with glass walls needs his calendar events (coming from Google) that are not linked to a Zoom meeting itself, not to show in the list, only the ones with a zoom meeting link associated. So the idea would be if he has a meeting or interview that is face to face, that this specific event from his calendar do not show in the Zoom Room events list on his office's TV.
Hi, is there a way to lower the resolution of Zoom other than turning off HD? I'm using a laptop and the app. I can't afford to use 1 GB or more of data for every meeting. Is there a way to lower the resolution? Thanks
We are just migrating from another provider over to Zoom Phone. On our old provider, we have 1 phone number configured to send email notifications to a group email address when new SMS messages are received so multiple team members are aware. I've learned that Zoom Phone does not support email notifications for SMS messages, which is really strange. With that said, I did find there is SMS capabilities for auto receptionists and call queues that may solve this problem, but sales said we'd have to buy one Zoom Power Pack license for every Zoom Phone user. We have 8 users. That means $200 just to have multiple users notified when we receive an SMS message. That's more than we pay for our entire Zoom Phone system right now and seems ridiculous. I'm hoping there's another option here for such basic functionality. How have you notified multiple users of incoming SMS messages?
