Are Meeting Passcodes still mandatory for Basic accounts in 2026? I’m the Owner and only admin/user of an individual Zoom Workplace Basic account. Under Account Management > Account Settings > Meeting > Security, Meeting Passcode and PMI Passcode are locked ON at the account level. Waiting Room is also enabled.I understand Zoom requires meetings to have a security option. However, current Zoom documentation says this requirement can be satisfied by Passcode, Waiting Room, or Only authenticated users can join.I searched the Community before posting and found several older threads describing this exact issue. In one, a Community Manager referenced Zoom's May 2020 policy requiring passcodes.
