Hello All, I'm hosting a Zoom webinar shortly, but running into difficulties. I have taken off the "practice session" and clicked on "start this webinar" button. The meeting runs with only me present, but it still appears as upcoming, even though the time has passed. Basically, I have no way to start the webinar. I cannot find the broadcast button at the top. After I click start or start this webinar button, the application boots up and it is automatically recorded. I end the session and it makes no difference. I have updated OS and Zoom to the latest. TIA
Hi, I'm an independent contractor meeting with customers every day over Zoom, and I just got a new M1 MacBook Pro as much of my business is done on Mac. However, as I now run parallels since M1 Macs no longer have access to Bootcamp, I'm encountering an issue I never had before. Zoom no longer allows me to have virtual backgrounds up which is a problem as I work from home. It just says, "your devices does not support virtual backgrounds". This doesn't make sense as I can use them just fine when running on the Mac side of things. And yes, I know I run both Mac and Windows simultaneously on it, but it's a lot easier to have them both on the Windows at the same time for what I do. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem?
Hi All,Some background - I have global admin rights in O365 at my company and administrate Zoom as part of my responsibilities. We have an existing setup with about 25 rooms on a working Calendar Resource but I must have logged in somewhere on accident using my own account and it switched the calendar resource to my account. Luckily, everything is still working but I'm trying to figure out how to move all the rooms back to the calendar resource. I tried adding a new resource and used the service account to set up. Moved one room over using the room settings but now it's saying "This calendar resource is no longer available in the calendar service." Room still looks like it's working but I'm afraid that come Monday, everything will be broken, so I'm hesitant to move the other rooms to this other Calendar Resource. Help! My questions are - Is there a better way to migrate all the rooms to the correct calendar resource? Is there a way to change the resource from my account back to th
This behaviour first appeared in the last couple of days. I have many recurring meetings each week but their times vary. I regularly update the meeting schedule in advance with the new times. Now I cannot do this. When opening the schedule for a meeting, the time is set on the present minute. If I change the time to the correct time in the future, the saved meeting reverts to the present time. Sending the meeting to the recipient, the calendar link is also set to the present time, which is chaotic for my (and their) diary schedule. I have tried on two devices (iPhone and iPad) with the same issue. My partner’s iPhone can still schedule appointments normally, with the scheduler correctly recording the future appointment. I’ve tried rebooting the phone, checked my timezone, deleted and reinstalled the app… as the problem occurs on both my iPhone and iPad it seems to be an account issue? Any advice gratefully appreciated!
We are a small non-profit with one Zoom Pro license that we use for meetings and workshops. I am starting a new program that will involve up to 20 different small-group, peer-led meetings throughout each month. I would like for each small group leader to host the meeting (with screen share and recording capability). I know I could start each meeting as host, make the group leader co-host, and then leave, but that's a lot of work and I'm doing this on a volunteer basis. Are there any alternatives that won't require us to purchase a license for each individual group leader? That would be cost-prohibitive for us. For example, could we purchase one more Pro license, add all of the group leaders as users, and use that to assign them as Alternative Hosts when we schedule the meetings? Thanks for your ideas.
This is a Zoom Events problem. Yesterday I tried to upload a file with 79 Sessions in it to the Event Content -> Sessions area. I immediately received the error: ! An error was encountered when processing your request Now whenever I go to the Sessions area I continue to get this error message along with a spinning cursor. I see no Sessions and there is not even a button to add Sessions manually. It's been over 8 hours. I've tried logging out and logging back into Zoom. I tried clearing browser cache. I tried a different browser. No help. Has anyone else experienced this and how did they resolve it? I have a ticket open with Zoom but have had no response yet. I'm in dire straits as my event will start in less than a week and I have over 100 paid registrants.
I'm trying to download zoom meetings on my iMac desktop. My operating system is High Sierra 10.13.6. It says zoom requires 10.14 or higher. Is there an old download that zoom can send me? I need to use zoom for my assignments. Thank you. D
Hello When I launch a meeting in my personal meeting room, I have to manually start the AI Companion, but that's not necessary when I create a new meeting. Recently, I've been receiving a pop-up asking if I want to start the AI Companion, which serves as a helpful reminder to begin or agree to use the companion. Unfortunately, I accidentally selected the option to stop seeing that pop-up message, and now I'm no longer receiving the reminders. I’ve checked the settings but can't find a way to turn the pop-up back on. I would appreciate any guidance on how I can restore the pop-ups.
I go to a few meetings that are held on a regular basis and the meeting ID and passwords are always the same along with the day and time. So, what I would love to be able to do is save all the meeting information and then when I am ready to log onto them I have all the information saved in like a phone book and just click on JOIN next to the one I want and connect to the meeting! How can I do that? If ZOOM does not currently do that, I was havijg trouble finding the feature request section if some colus SHOW ME where it is I would be grateful! Thanks!-Steven

I frequently use the remote control feature. Today the student could manipulate the shared screen but I could not see what she was doing. She was also unable to type. Any reason or way to fix it so that I can see what she is manipulating. I have used this feature many times in the past without issue. Help?
I use Zoom (via a link) in Safari 18.3.1 on macOS 15.3.2, but always encounter issues:The connection is always unstable. The video freezes, and the audio lags and stutters. When I try to share my screen, Zoom shows the Zoom tab instead of the tab that I have selected (if I have selected to share a window) or the entire screen (if I have selected to share the entire screen).Notes:These issues are unique to Zoom and do not affect Meet or Teams.Turning off wifi and switching to a phone hotspot helps somewhat, making me wonder if Zoom somehow changes the settings based on the connection. But again, I have no issues with Meet or Teams on wifi, so the issues are unique to Zoom.Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I'm trying to use the Shared Polls feature announced in Zoom meetings version 6.3. While I see the share to option, and the Sharing interface comes up, I cannot find any users to share to! I tried both email address and display names of known active users in my account. Adding a user to my personal contacts did not make a difference.
Hi all, I have always been able to give remote control to another person but now the button has disappeared. I have checked my settings, uninstalled and reinstalled the app but its simply not there? I can see this has been a problem for a lot of people but has anyone solved it? Thanks in advance of any help - needed desperately in a few hours! Su
Hi, I'm looking for a way to remove the extra bit that zoom has automatically tacked onto the auto receptionist that says press 0 to talk to the operator. Even when I set 0 to a different function it still says that. For example, if I set 0 to leave a voice message it instructs the caller to press 0 to leave a voice message, but then it also follows that up by instructing the caller to press 0 to talk to an operator. I see other posts on here telling people how to set an operator, but that's not what I want to do. I just want to remove this instruction. Thanks
I attempted to join a previously scheduled meeting where notice was posted the meeting was canceled. After entering the meeting number and passcode the following statement appeared on the screen:"Host has joined. We've let them know you're here"I waited about 30 minutes and was not accepted to the meeting.I interpret this to mean there was a meeting in progress, or at least the host had opened the meeting for participants. Is that true? Or is the "Host has joined" statement a boiler plate response and nobody is really on the other end?
Is there a way in a Zoom meeting for the admin to set it so that participants can only see the speakers and not one another? I realize that each participant can set the view as they wish. My question is whether the administrator can choose "speakers only" for the whole group. Much as in a webinar.
Currently, resolved comments are page-wide, but I would like to see an option in the record view of a data table to view resolved comments specific to that record. Can someone from the Zoom team chime in and let me know if this feature is in the works or I'd be happy to discuss if additional information is needed. Zoom Docs has the potential to be one of Zoom's best products imo and I see that new features are quickly being implemented which I appreciate.
If I create a new whiteboard during a meeting, we can both use it without a problem for that meeting. The next day the whiteboard still shows normal status with no View-Only tag.A week later, when we meet again, the whiteboard has a View-Only tag added to it automatically without me even logging into zoom or doing anything in between that time. This happens every week when I meet with my teacher. It can not be removed, you can not choose Collaborating when opening the board because it thinks I am not the owner of my own board. You can not touch (iPad) or click (PC) on the View-Only displayed at the top to change it in any way. You must copy the board and create a new one, which will again become View-Only automatically after a week's time before the next meeting. How in the world do you remove this tag or prevent it from ever being applied to your board in the first place and how do you allow yourself to choose Collaborating. Also how do you mute the volume on
I have zoom workplace client installed on my laptop. When i share screen, black window boxes were seen on the shared screen. I then chose "secure share with windows filtering option in Advanced settings of screen share. The black boxes disappeared but when Im annotating on my shared screen, the participants are not able to see. This happens only when i have chose secure share with windows filtering option and not with any other option. This was never the issue with my old laptop. But ever since i installed zoom on my new laptop, I am facing this issue. Please help me sort this out
Здравствуйте, помогите, пожалуйста. У меня не работает видео. Камера исправна, она включена, но при конференции просто черный экран горит.
I have a work Zoom account managed by my org and a personal account that I manage. I want to integrate with Google as an Add on so i can set up my personal meetings directly, but Google keeps defaulting to my work account. I've tried uninstalling the app on the google side, deleted the google integration from my work account on the zoom side but nothing I do is having any effect. Can anyone advise. I'm new to Zoom too, more familiar with Google Meet but wanted to just use one provider for meetings.
Is there a way to delay sending the invite to participants until a certain date and time? I want to create multiple invites for zoom mtgs for the following week. I want them to receive the invite the morning of the meeting so it does not get buried in their inbox. Is this possible within Zoom or do I have to copy the invite to an external email provider such as gmail or outlook to achieve this? Thank you
