Hi all, I recently gave permission to an App called otter.ai that records meetings. I changed my mind and want to remove the permission previously given. How do I do this ?I have tried using the "Manage" button on Zoom market place. But nowhere can I see this app mentioned. As I already deleted my account with otter.ai does this mean it automatically removed itself from my Zoom permissions OR is there sometjing more I need to do to achieve this. Thank you for your comments and step by step guidance as needed.Best, David
My Camera doesn't work on the app when I am trying to join a meeting. When I go to the settings page, the image from the camera shows. It is a Mac with an external camera. It doesn't work with the external camera or built-in. The permissions are correct
Hi! I just updated to Zoom version 6.4.3 (52139). Where is the meeting information, including the Zoom link and dial-in info? I cannot find it anywhere. It used to be included in the meeting listed on the Zoom calendar. Thank you!
Hi, I've been trying to use the Zoom desktop client on Linux but I've been unable to get the "Schedule a Meeting" functionality to work. When I click on "Schedule" from the main screen, a new window open but it is completely blank and non-responsive. I can't close it and it stays open even when I close the main app screen. Ultimately, I have to kill it from the System Monitor. I've tried this on multiple distributions (e.g. Ubuntu 22.04.3, Zorin OS 17, PoP!OS) and they all do the exact same thing. Is this an Ubuntu issue (I realize these are all based on Ubuntu)? I haven't tried it yet with Fedora but was curious if anyone else had seen this problem. Thanks!
Ever since I got new airpods, zoom is suppressing the sound and the volume coming through airpods vs regular speaker is about half of the capacity. I've adjusted volume to max in zoom, on Windows sound mixer, and have played with the different advanced settings in Zoom such as switching audio profile to original sound for musicians and turning signal processing by windows audio device to on and windows system audio enhancements to on. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and cleared the cache. Went to max volume on my airpods itself. Every available solution has been tried but the airpods sound quality is muffled because it's at 50% capacity. When I close out of zoom and try to use regular apps like spotify, it takes a few seconds to restore back to normal sound. What is it about Zoom that is suppressing the sound? Is it a new update? I tried swiping up on airpods 2 but that doesn't do the job either: https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Meetings/Very-low-volume-via-Airpods
I need a way to permanently prevent all participants from starting their video. There does not seem to be a global setting to disable video share for participants. Please help.
I just read a few posts stating that you CANNOT use your personal id for recurring meetings. This stinks! I am new to this process and would love to know what is the best way to schedule a four week series, every Tuesday at the same time and use the SAME meeting for the couples? Thank you in advance for any help you can give me.
It is very frustrating that if you have a personal meeting id that you use for all your meetings, that you cannot use it for scheduled recurring meetings. It means that for recurring meetings, each unique meeting must be set up individually. Clicking the recurring meeting checkbox causes the meeting id to be auto-generated. We have also seen this cause confusion because people unfamiliar with this nuance (which is not super clear when you are setting up a recurring meeting) will click recurring meeting because it seems intuitive but then nobody can join their meetings because everyone only knows the personal meeting id link. It would be great if when checking the recurring meeting checkbox, there could be the same radio button options of "generate meeting id" vs "use personal meeting id" as exist for non-recurring meetings. As one example, we use Zoom for our Sunday worship (which works great) but it means I have to schedule each individual Sunday of the year and can't just "one and do
On macOS, I use Qt to set a new default audio device using the Core Audio API, but Zoom doesn't switch to the new device. How can I make Zoom switch to the default audio device after I set it programmatically?
My camera is blurry. How can I correct this?

How do I change this effect on the camera? I don't want it to follow me or zoom in/out. I need the camera to stay still and focus on what I want. Thank you!
Has anyone else experienced the ‘invite’ button no longer showing under the Participant option when in zoom meeting?
I thought this would be of interest to the community. Use Case = Test your Zoom Room video conference endpoints (Poly/HP, Neat, etc) with an overnight call for quality assurance purposes. AKA capture network changes, power outages, codecs not responding, etc. I wrote this in Powershell but you can export to Python.
Referring to the following community chat, I understand that I need to change the caller on line one. However, on the Zoom portal, line one is greyed out, so I am not able to change the caller ID. How can I undo that? https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Phone-System/Outgoing-Caller-ID-from-Yealink-Phone/m-p/192534
I found this thread and it has many examples of users experiencing the same across different OS's and hardware. https://www.reddit.com/r/Zoom/comments/g0vavu/zoom_keeps_crashing_my_wifi_network/ Same thing for me, most meetings I drop off every few minutes and my whole wifi connection drops as well. Can't use chrome or slack, totally offline. It's happened dozens of times and I NEVER drop a connection otherwise. Only in Zoom meetings. I would love to get a solution to this or some understanding of what's happening. Thanks so much!
When adding the iframe code to our website (Squarespace) it appears fine on desktop but doesn't seem to be mobile-friendly. It doesn't stack like it's supposed to on mobile. So all you see as a user is monthly view calendar and when you click on a date it doesn't dropdown/pull up the times to choose from. They stay to the right - off of the mobile view and you can't scroll to the right to see them. Shouldn't the iframe option work on mobile just like it does if you were to click the Zoom Scheduler link on mobile?
I am about ready to scream. During meetings, I regularly get two pop-ups and I see no way to get it to stop. I am on a Mac running the latest OS and client updates. The first pop-up happens periodically throughout meetings, even appearing on shared screens.”Turn On Reactions: Zoom.us has turned off Reaction effects….” Yet, I have reactions enabled, including gestures. All I can do is close the pop-up…which reappears shortly thereafter. The second one nags me whenever I am sharing my screen. It also pops up on the share sometimes, other times on my non-shared screen. ”’zoom.us’ is Accessing your screen” When I tap that one, it opens a Mac OS system settings screen where Zoom is already selected as being allowed. Again…can’t get rid of it more than a coupla minutes and everything appears to be enabled. Any ideas how to get these to stop?!
When a user calls another user, all we see if company name or on computer we will see the CEOs name because she has Main number in her contact information. Where would we go to set this up properly? Or is this just what they have?
I have tried to book multiple meetings to set up my IVR phone I have one of three numbers set up and I need to do the other two. I have submitted tickets but don't know how to get back to them to respond to them and after waiting on chat for over half an hour they send me to a link that does nothing so they can end the chat with me. If I thought I was going to have to work with them long term I would cancel my subscription but hopefully once set up and it s a set and forget. I need help to finish this off happy to pay hourly rate please help me if you know what your doing with IVR phone set up?
The goal is to have a phone number that goes directly to an individual phone with no menu or intermediate step by the caller. Outgoing calls work fine but incoming calls do not come in. There is no notification of an incoming call, nothing in the Zoom call logs and the dialing phone shows "Unable to connect". Currently have the number set up with what I think should redirect straight to another line. Line A is configured to use the Main Auto Receptionist and Line B is set to take the calls (Business Hours: 24/7, Greeting Prompt: Disabled, Route to User: "Line B" - Ext 800). This post outlines a lot of what I did (https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Phone-System/Removing-Extension-from-my-Zoom-Phone-Number/m-p/52958) but the options are a bit different now so I'm probably missing something. Any help is greatly appreciated.
I have a dual monitor setup with one screen rotated 90 degrees into portrait mode. When I share a screen from Zoom, using the PipeWire mode and xdg-portal-desktop-wlr (I'm on linux with the sway display manager), then the shared view is rotated (or unrotated, I guess, depending on perspective). Basically the shared view is incorrect and shows a rotated view. PipeWire broadcasts buffer information about transformations since this PR: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/merge_requests/1423. So the Zoom app should be able to handle this. OBS-studio, for instance, handles this gracefully and provides the correct screen shared view when used with PipeWire. Here's a link to how grim, a screenshot tool, handles this transformation information: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/emersion/grim/-/blob/master/output-layout.c?ref_type=heads I hope that's helpful. I'm on version 6.3.11 of Zoom.
