Hi we are using zoom in our environment, however we see traffic to this url "captive2.onzoom.com" is blocked by our firewalls, I would like to know when this will trigger and what process triggers this url

Hi! I am a tutor and I meet with children 1:1 via Zoom. I use a Personal Meeting ID number for these kids to preserve privacy (at least to the limited group of kids that I work with). I am now wanting to host a reading hour for the same kids to attend, but would want to have them invite friends to it if they would like.I would like to send out an invite with a PMID number that they can share with others and also connect with me themselves.What is the best way to do this? I am understanding that I cannot have a second PMID for my account...only one. Thanks!
Is there a way to have a standard cover page added to the beginning of outgoing faxes? Perhaps this is an antiquated practice but many individuals are likely to want to include a cover page with a fax. Certainly we could manually add a cover page to each fax but looking for a more automated solution. If there is not an efficient way to do this currently, does Zoom intend to add this feature?

I am the host of my meetings and intially I used to be able to record my meetings. Now I can't seem to record my meetings because everytime I click record, I get the error message "Recording features can't be started unless the host has joined". What do I do?

We are currently integrating Zoom RTM Webhooks into our application and have encountered an issue with the validation process.Zoom requires a single webhook URL that is used for two purposes:1. Validation – Zoom sends a request with a plainToken that our server needs to echo back in a specific format.2. Events – After validation, Zoom sends event payloads (e.g., meeting started, participant joined) to the same URL. The challenge we are facing is that the Zoom SDK we are using appears to spin up an internal server and only exposes event handler functions. It does not expose the underlying HTTP endpoint, so we are unable to handle the initial validation request directly. Since both validation and events are sent to the same URL, we are stuck at the validation step.Our questions are:1. Is there a recommended way to handle the validation request when using the SDK?2. If not, is it possible to configure the SDK so that we can intercept or extend the raw HTTP endpoint to respond to vali

How can I prevent participants from recording a specific meeting using apps like Fathom?
I recorded a virtual play using Zoom, and didn't realize until after that it was only recording the person speaking at that moment. Since the whole thing was recorded, is it possible there is a way to switch it to the "everyone" version of it so both actors are consistently visible, or is it too late for that? And how do i prevent this in the future?
I wear headphones all day, and end up in zoom meetings on a separate screen that are ongoing for war room-like calls, these calls usually go on for 8 hours plus.I want a sound/speaker mute button in zoom so that my headphones can switch to normal audio mode so that i can play music in a non- mono format which tends to happen as long as i am in the call, even though i have very involvement in the zoom call ?
Greetings, we are looking to incorporate Delivery Management into our environment and find its very easy and straight forward to use. The one use case we cannot find any documentation on is when receiving a package destined for a department (group) rather than an individual user such as marketing or accounts receivable. I was hoping to be able to use "user groups" under user management or be able to prepopulate a list of group email addresses, but they do not show up in the recipient field when adding a scanned delivery. Curious on current best practices to accomplish this.
In the last two weeks -- there's been reports from some of our clients where their Zoom Room controller is showing that the Room Controls cannot connect to the Zoom Room appliance PC. A "Retry" button shows but pressing it will not reconnect the device. Multiple conference rooms are affected by this issue currently. All affected rooms are running Android-based Zoom Room controllers and Windows PCs as the Zoom Room appliance. They are on the latest 6.5.5 version, and I noticed there was a note that said the following:Resolved an issue that prevented third party room controls from working correctly. Android Controller The simplest way that fixed all rooms' (the three of them in this case) Room Controls on the Zoom Room Controller was simply restarting the Zoom Room app on the Windows PC (exiting and re-launching the app). Several months ago I purchased the add-on so that I could get translated captions. Sometimes they work beautifully. Sometimes they SUCK. I am finding that I am not able to view images sent via the chat in meetings / classes. Others in the meetings can see them. I am using a galaxy tablet A10. I have updated zoom and searched here and other places on the web for solutions.I am looking for a solution - zoom is suggesting I view images via other apps but none of the ones I have - gallery etc will display them either.
How many AA meeting Zoom accounts have been affected by bombers, making removing them difficult by toggling the RAISE HAND feature? Yes, we have a great security team, and we know how to use the participants list to type in the name and then eject the bomber, but some meetings don't have that because they are newer or smaller. People are dying out there, trying to stop drinking, and the bombers are so prolific and scaring people off. I've seen other meetings using screening questions to keep bombers out, but keep these desperate newcomers out, too. Zoom is adding so many complex features, yet we cannot get them to listen to us to add something that to me, is quite simple. How do we get this to somebody who will listen?

Hi!I used to have active speaker working on Zoom for my recordings but no longer seem to have it. The fixes all point to choosing active speaker on that top right hand menu, but it's not there for me. It seems to have worked for me randomly but I'm not at a loss as to how I can have it reintroduced to my 'view' selections. All I can see are Speaker / Gallery / Multi-Speaker / Immersive. Is there something I need to do? Or has it been removed? Neil
It's only possible or me to share the full screen instead of just a single window. How to reproduce: - Start a "New meeting".- Click "Share".- Choose "User system window capture" and click "Share".- [UNEXPECTED] "Remote control requested" is show.- Click "Share".- [UNEXPECTED] The whole screen is shared. I expected to see KDE's "Screen sharing" dialog that allows me to choose a single window. This works when using the web client through Firefox. I tried running the app with QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb or XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=GNOME and it made no difference. I also tried setting capture mode on Wayland to "Pipewire Mode" and "Original Mode". No success either. Software versions:Zoom: 6.1.1.443 x86_64 installed from zoom-6.1.1.443-1.src.rpm.OS: Fedora 40 running KDE Plasma 6.1.2 on Wayland.
I lost my computer and all the database. Now I need to find some extremely important meeting recordings, but the meetings were from August 2025, and the recordings expired due to passing 30 days of storing on cloud. How can I recover these very importint recordings? Thank you so much, I hope there would be a way for this.

Hello, I’m having an issue logging into Zoom using the “Sign in with Google” option on my Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet. After I select my Google account, I get redirected to a screen that says “Zoom will launch in a few seconds,” but nothing happens. I’m stuck on that screen and Zoom does not open. Details:- Device: Xiaomi Pad 6- OS: HyperOS 2.0.2.0 (Android 14)- Zoom App Version: (please insert your version here)- Issue: Google login hangs after authentication, app doesn't resume I’ve tried:- Reinstalling Zoom- Clearing app cache and data- Updating Android System WebView- Using different browsers- Manually switching back to Zoom- All system updates are installed The same Google account works fine on other devices (Windows PC, Android phone), so the issue seems specific to this tablet or OS.
