As per the Salesforce update an Admin user is required to initially authorise the connection between Salesforce and Zoom (and that user must also be an admin on the Zoom Account). However under the Salesforce OEM model the Zoom Account owner cannot be granted be granted Salesforce Admin capabilities as they do not have a Salesforce licence (OEM users are issued with a Salesforce Platform License).How do we get past this hurdle?Unlike the issue identified by Zoom for Salesforce Integration (Oauth error for non admins) | Community this issue occurs where Zoom has not been installed prior to the update.  

I am an individual. I do not own or run a business. I got a Zoom phone so I could talk and text and hold unlimited Zoom meetings with my family across the country. My account type is Pro (Named Host). We have Zoom phone set up and it has been working normally, but randomly started going directly to voicemail. No settings were changed and these calls are coming in during “open hours”. Not sure what setting to look at or what might be changing how the incoming calls are behaving. 

Is it possible to create a directory of our important vendor contacts for our Zoom Phone users? We recently deployed Zoom Phones, and users have requested that key vendor phone numbers be added for easy access. These contacts would include our IT support team’s direct number, building maintenance, and other frequently used vendors. I am the account admin/owner. 

I'm looking for a complete list of extensions in our company zoom account regardless of what the extensions are used for. I've looked at phone numbers in number management, users, auto-receptionists, etc. and I can't find this extension anywhere. Where can I view a list of all our extensions in one place? Thanks

Got this message from a user this afternoon. He's a VP and was extremely unhappy that his Teams meeting was being overheard by a caller. "I was on a Teams Call and a call came into ADS and the call was transferred to me. I didn’t even know it; my phone never Rang! So I didn’t accept or Decline!! Very Strange. Alan has already looked at my Zoom settings and is asking Zoom for help…" Any thoughts? My executive team is freaking out

Hi Everyone, Posting here to see if anyone is running into the same issues. I recently implemented Zoom Phone to replace Gong’s native dialer “Gong Connect”. There are many reasons we decided to go with Zoom Phone but in general it was because it was labeled as the only “plug and play” integration with Gong and its calling configurations/ capabilities are much more powerful than Gong’s native dialer. The issue I am running into is when Zoom Phone is turned on in Gong Engage and a call is made, there is field for reps to add call notes. This seems like a core feature for any calling platform. Has anyone run into the same issues? If so, how did you solve for it?Any feedback is welcome! Thanks.

Hello! I activivated Zoom phone and pay for plan.Verified address and got number.Number is not working. Cant do in our out calls. When call to this number it says number dont exists.

Not sure where to ask this, but: The Contacts tab in the Zoom app looks/works notably differently for me and my coworker. We both have Zoom Workplace, by the way. On my Contacts tab, the folders on the left are dropdown lists; if I click a folder it drops down a list of all the contacts in the folder, and if I click a name it populates the profile information in the center of the screen. However, on my coworker's Contacts tab, the folders on the left are selectable, instead of being dropdown lists, and if you click on a folder the center of the screen populates with a multi-column list of all the contacts in that folder. Clicking on a contact there then shows the profile information. I can't find any indication anywhere of how to switch between these two views. Where can I find that option?

Hello I've been trying to port numbers away from Zoom with the PIN number provided in the Phone Section. However, my porting destination (ZohoVoice) has been reporting failures due to incorrect PIN.  How can I resolve this issue? Where can I get the correct PIN for porting away from ZOOM? thanks! 

Hi my calls are not connecting and the server says we can’t connect your call at the moment 

We are replacing our existing phone system companywide with Zoom phones.  A requirement of the project that we must sync our O365 exchange address book to the Zoom Workplace Phone contacts.  It seems the only way to currently do this is every user must manually download their contacts from Microsoft 365.  We have tried different methods to automate this site wide which has failed. I understandable for O365 to sync admin permissions must be given and that task has been completed.If a solution can be found to automatically sync O365 exchange global address book with Phone contacts, this will be a no go with the department of over 300 phones as the upper managers will review this phone system is not working for then because they need to call up saved contacts.  How do I sync O365 address book contacts into Zoom Phone contacts without having ever user forced to manually do it and continue to this process over and over again for new global contacts are added to the address book? Thank you,

We recently upgraded from an obsolete ESI phone system to Zoom phone. The Zoom folks recommended we purchase an Audiocodes mp112 ATA device to make the paging system talk to Zoom. I followed the instructions to provision the ATA device and it shows up as being online in Zoom. Normally, when you call into the paging system, it auto-answers so you can send out your message through the paging amp/overhead speakers. Currently, the extension assigned to the ATA just rings and goes to voicemail. Anyone work on something similar?

Why does it take so long to get set up on Zoom Phone and then Zoom texting. Every day I am speaking with Zoom. It's affecting our business and the messages dont get through. Multiple technicions for the canada market escalation . Whats going on?

The below is set to No One... In the navigation menu, click Account Management then Account Settings.Click the Recording & Transcript tab.Under Notification, scroll down to Recording notifications - Zoom clients.Under Show a disclaimer to participants when a recording starts, choose either All participants or Guest only.(Optional) Click Custom Disclaimer if you want to edit the recording consent disclaimer text.Note: Basic, Pro, Business and Free Trial accounts with less than 100 licenses cannot customize the recording consent disclaimer text.Under Play voice prompt for, choose if you want All participants, Guest only, or No One to hear the audio recording notification.

I'd like to add custom Task/Activity fields to be captured, but I'm only seeing Account/Contact/Lead. It does look like I can add the Task object, but that looks to be for finding matches, not for the call task that will be logged.

We’ve identified that inbound calls routed via call queues do not register on the call board, while outbound calls via call queues reflect immediately. Calls associated directly with employee-assigned numbers also record as expected. We are working on a project for a group of students to serve as on-call drivers for times when the department does not have availability.  We are looking for a solution for contacting said on call driver. Our students do not have Zoom accounts, and we do not create ‘dummy’ accounts. Other than creating a number and changing the forwarding all the time, is anyone aware of another solution we might utilize?

Hello, I’m having an issue with Zoom Phone Auto Receptionist routing. If the main menu is configured so that pressing a key (for example, Press 1) routes directly to an external phone number, the call rings correctly. However, if Press 2 on the main menu routes to another Auto Receptionist (a sub-menu), and within that sub-menu Press 1 routes to External Number 1 and Press 2 routes to External Number 2, neither external number rings. Instead, the caller hears a message saying the person is not available. The same external numbers work when assigned directly on the main menu, but not when called from a sub-menu. Any solution or workaround would be appreciated.

Is there a setting to automatically split and send SMS messages that are over 160 characters?
