Hi everyone,I’ve been using Zoom regularly for both personal and professional meetings, and one thing I’ve noticed is that managing recurring meetings can sometimes feel a bit limited, especially when schedules change frequently.It would be really helpful if Zoom added more advanced recurring meeting controls, such as:Easier editing for only one occurrence within a recurring series Better visibility of recurring meetings across all devices More flexible notification and reminder settings A dedicated recurring meetings tab in the mobile app Simpler synchronization with Outlook and Google Calendar updatesThese improvements could save a lot of time for teams, teachers, and organizations that rely heavily on recurring schedules.I’d love to hear how others currently manage recurring meetings and whether you’ve experienced similar challenges.

We run hybrid meetings. We have tried two set ups.A set of 10 conference room microphones for each in person participant. There is a receiver and speaker that plugs into the hosts laptop. The speaker picks up the feed from each of the 10 microphones and allows the in person participants can hear the Zoom people. For the in person audience we have a sound system in the room with microphones. The problem is the in house system causes an echo for the Zoom participants. We tried it once without the in room sound system. That was great for the Zoom participants, but the in person audience could not hear.We have a directional microphone that we would put in front of one of the loudspeakers in the auditorium. That worked fair for the Zoom people, but it picked up a lot of the other room noise and there was an echo.I we are able to put a Bluetooth transmitter on the output on our sound system can Zoom accept a Bluetooth signal as a microphone or audio sourc

Hello. We often conduct meetings in a large open conference room and use a normal microphone and speakers in it. There are no fancy equipment in this room but the speakers are pretty good. Out current set upLaptop A - host (accepts participants, control)Laptop B - hdmi connected, flashes on the projector the zoom meeting, connected webcam facing the speaker, open mic for zoom participants (microphone is from the webcam)Laptop C - speaker, shares screen/presentation The problem is the audio for the zoom participants since microphone is only from the webcam, the output on their part is garbled sound and inaudible at all. I do not live in the US but please may I know what do you call a device what we can plug in to Laptop B to capture audio better in a large open area conference room  

I pay for an account and I thought an audio transcript from a meeting was available as part of the deal.   However I can download the video and audio of my meeting but no sign of a VTT file with the transcript.  Where can I find it please?  Thanks

I can"t now find my my recurring meeting to start on my IPad or Phone. This was not a problem till about 4 weeks ago. One off meetings aren't a problem. What do I do?

I tried to get into two zoom meetings yesterday (both invites from the same organization).  Identical to weekly meetings I’ve been zooming for almost six years.I was taken to the meeting site, and could see the others...but just for a brief moment.  Then a screen went up and said my device could not enter the network.My laptop is the same one that has been on the other zoom calls...and I have made no changes to it since last week’s meetings.Anyone got any advice?

How to enable poll zoom

Hi All,I’m on a free standard plan. Under the Zoom Workspace app->Settings->Video & effects->Virtual Bakcgrounds, the documentation says I should see a “Generate with AI button” but I don’t get one there. Any idea how to enable it? I do have virtual backgrounds enabled in the web portal settings and am able to use both video and image based virtual backgrounds now.The virtual help agent says this about it: ZVAVIRTUAL AGENT10:13 AMI can’t help with why the “Generate with AI” button is missing, because that troubleshooting detail isn’t covered in the Zoom public knowledge base content I have available.

Zoom Workplace, up to date version. If I open settings window, it stays atop of all other windows making use of other apps impossible.When I tap on View More Settings, a browser opens and... I can't use it, because the original Settings window blocks me from it.What is the sacred logic that I am unable to understand, is behind this?

Hello,  i have a problem with my university and I need to prove that I joined the meetings of a lesson. I can’t find a detailed history of the meetings that I joined, I only found the past meetings IDs but it doesn’t mention how many times I joined the same meeting ID, because it was the same every time.Please someone help me with this I is very important!!!!

What is the purpose of having the Zoom app for phone use and have the option to record a meeting automatically when it will not actually record it and save to your phone?

Hello, I have a workplace account. I am trying to figure out language translation. When I set the close caption to a different language, it always defer back to English. Some of my student students for example speak and read Spanish. Is there a mechanism for The user who speaks a different language to receive close caption just on their screen and their preferred language. Also, when the instructor is speaking, I understand there is a feature where the end user who speaks a different language can hear the instructor voice in their language. I find some of the land translation features to be confusing. Essentially, I’m trying to assist my students who speak Spanish to receive their closed caption in Spanish, and also have the instructor voice translated in Spanish. It is also my understanding that the Spanish translation in zoom is not very accurate.

I need the other person to be able to see me while I share my screen. I'm in an Android phone. Is there any way I can do this? 

I scheduled a Zoom meeting this morning. When I logged on, it asked if it should creats a text of the meeting. I checked YES. The text off the meeting cannot be forund in Summaries. What happened? Thank you.

Why are my individually scheduled weekly meetings (same date and time) being (automatically??) rescheduled to recurring meetings? This changes the personal meeting id, which I do not want to happen.

Hi, I’ve been having this issue with my mouse cursor for a month. It started happening after I updated my Windows version to Windows 11, but I’m not sure whether these events are connected or not. When I’m sharing a PPT or Google Slides, which are the main content I usually share, everything works normally. However, whenever I need to transition to a new tab, such as Google Docs or Youtube, while still screen sharing, my mouse cursor completely disappears and I cannot do anything about it. It has been so frustrating, because I cannot click on anything, not even on “stop sharing”, and I just have to wait for it to be back. My students say they still see my mouse cursor as I’m moving it desperately trying to get its control back.  I have searched for a solution for this issue in this forum, but most of the results I got are from years and years ago, and none of the recommendations given solved my problem - such as updating Zoom’s version. Can some

It appears to me that every window on Windows remembers it's last location and size when the application is closed.  Except Zoom Meetings.  It opens this huge oblong box covering 2/3rds of my screen every. single. time.  I move it to the side and and resize it to get my work done.  Restart, boom, back to the center.   I know, first world problems, but seriously, why can't Zoom perform like every other application?  Yes, I've shift-closed, ctrl-closed, closed following any other article I could find that would give me a clue.  (Don't get me started about the "X" in the upper right corner not closing an application.  I'm seriously thinking this app is getting a kardashian complex (huge resource usage, always has to be the center of attention, can't believe everyone doesn't know who it is..)  

I have uninstalled and reinstalled and I am unable to see the option to record while on a zoom meeting through my iPhone. I click on the three dots but the option is not there to record nor save to system. My classmates are able to record and are using the free version as well even during my zoom meeting they are able to record.

A couple of weeks ago I had a small meeting with 5 people and there was terrible echo, as if in a large reflecting hall. We meet regularly and in the past  we’ve resolved issues with eg logged in on 2 devices, logged in via browser and app simultaneously. But this was worse than any of those. In my settings I’ve got original sound for musicians On, and Echo Cancellation On. Advanced > Echo cancellation is set to AutoTimeline: I opened the meeting and person A joined. Immediately severe echo.  So looks like problem is me or person A. After the others joined we did the usual routines of muting each person at a time, then tried muting everyone and un-muting one at a time. No difference, including muting A made no difference. So I closed the meeting, rebooted, and started the meeting again. This time person A joined last, but we still had the echo reight from the start of the first person joining. (Though the quality of the echo was a bit different.)So this time
