Why are the participant's names appearing in the corner of the screen on recorded Zoom meetings even when I am asking it to not do this under settings? I am reading on here that others are having the same issue. Is this only a problem with the free version or are paid members having this issue too? How long has this been happening? I did a recording in December & did not experience this issue. I need the names to not display for privacy reasons. When will this be resolved? Has anyone heard anything?

Hey @Corbin1 if you have a pro plan and cloud recorded -- there is an option in the Advanced cloud recording settings where you can Display participants' names in the recording if checked. However, to not display, you'd uncheck this setting. https://zoom.us/profile/setting > recording > uncheck 'Display participants' names in the recording'
Unfortunately, for local recordings this is not a feature after testing this option Video > unchecked 'Always display participant name on their videos'. For this Local recording feature, suggest submitting feedback to https://zoom.us/feed

Me too. Can we please address this? Is it a glitch, or has the service changed? Thanks

Hi RN,
I have a PRO PLAN and I always record my semanal video local in my computer and it never happens.
After my last update I recorded a video and the names were not hidden like I always.
I saw my configs and are correct. I did some tests to detect the problem and even if the names do not appear on the screen, they appeared in the recorded video. Is clear a BUG in the last version.
