Is this some sort of new bug? We've recently been getting frequent Update Required popups saying "Your app version needs to be higher to start this meeting. Please contact your IT team to update your app." I am the IT admin for my company so I have access to the Admin account to control our company's Zoom account. When I checked for updates on the Admin account the first time, there weren't any updates available. I restarted the PC and opened up Zoom Rooms, it worked again. Today we got the same popup error. When I checked the Admin account again there were still no updates available. I restarted Zoom Rooms (instead of the PC this time) and it started working fine again, there were no "Update Required" errors.  Is this some sort of new bug? Are there any fixes to this issue? We have our Zoom Room setup to update automatically to prevent our users from seeing any of this and causing any delays in their workday. Thanks in advance for any help. 

i downloaded zoom on my windows 8.1 pc from the zoom download page. but i can't sign in from there with google. when i click on the sign in with google from the app it redirects me to chrome from where i authorize the sign in. on that page it says zoom should launch in a few seconds, if not click button below and there is a button "launch zoom". i tried waiting and clicking the button but nothing happens. i tried closing the app and tried again but still the same thing. i also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app but i cant sign in. i have an interview tonight and it requires me to sign in from the desktop app. so what is the solution here? please help

Can someone please point me in the direction of removing the captions. I don't want the captions at the bottom of the video. Looking through the settings, I don't see the option to remove. Inserting a screenshot below. Screenshot here

Using the Outlook connector to schedule zoom meetings. When scheduling a meeting it keeps defaulting to Personal Meeting ID and I have to change it to Generate Automatically and if I forget it sends out my personal meeting id which I do not want to do. Is there a setting somewhere that will force new meetings to use the "Generate Automatically" option?

Hi folks, I use the Zoom phone SMS text feature, and recently it has been adding "For help, reply HELP. To opt out, reply STOP." to texts after I send them - even when I'm responding to someone who texted me first. Can we turn this feature off? Thank you!

Hi! Hoping someone can help. I work for a small business and made a pro account. When I send a meeting link, I want it to read -"Business Company" is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting. Topic: "Business Company's" Personal Meeting Room But when I join through that same account, I want it to have my name as the display name, not the business account. Is there a way to have these be different? Or do I just have to manually change my display name in the zoom each time?  Thanks!

Dear Zoom Community,  I am looking to use Zoom Webinars to run a small virtual multi-day "conference". I would like attendees to be able to change the language that the captions appear into the language of their choice. I know this is not something Zoom provides, but would love suggestions for third-party addons that may fit our needs.  Essentially, I need what the Presenter in the webinar is saying to be automatically captioned live into multiple languages. Hi,I have a Workplace Pro account. It says I have access to AI Companion. When I set up a meeting a meeting, I select the meeting summary option under Advanced, I think. However, so far I have not been able to locate the summaries. I also record the videos and can find them.  Help please!

Here's a common situation:User in Zoom Room joins meeting from laptop and then room. Despite large "Do not Join from laptop" sign.Audio feedback chaos ensues.Zoom user goes to settings on Zoom controller and changes speaker. Room audio is now coming out of the projector instead of room speakers.User then changes microphone input. Room no has no functional microphone.User leaves the mess for the next confused user.This is a university so there are thousands of users. Training is not an option.I don't have local access to the room. It's a long drive.I'd love to be able to restrict audio devices from Room Profile page. I can select audio devices and fix it remotely, but I can't restrict choices remotely.

Hi. I've been enjoying using Zoom Docs. As I think ahead to a more pervasive use, I'm missing the possibility to:  1. Organize the docs into folders (i.e., by client of project).  2. I want a way to collect a set of documents into groups that I can quickly access (like Dropbox Paper).  If any of these features are available, I have yet to find them.  Thanks!

Has anyone had any luck figuring out how to automatically download Zoom Phone call recordings? A lot of companies that work with sensitive data have to keep local recordings and Zoom has failed to implement an SFTP automation. I know Zoom has an API, but I'm not a developer.

Besides the meeting registrant getting an email when they are first registered for the meeting, is there a way to set up another email reminder an hour before the meeting time?

I've been wondering if it would be possible to end Zoom meetings a little less abruptly. I find it quite disconcerting when the host ends a meeting, and suddenly you are left with a blank screen or your desktop. Especially for more arts based sessions, where people are very immersed in the experience.   True for any meeting, business or pleasure, but especially in the field I work in - arts activities for people who may be coping with mental health issues - people may be emotionally very engaged, you might even say spiritually engaged, and the sudden loss communication may be upsetting. I certainly find it a jolt.   It's like being engrossed in a movie, but instead of a fade out with some suitable music to round things off, and then the credits sequence to let you ease out of it, you are just suddenly dumped in the real world, with no time to reflect, or defuse, or 'come down', you might say.   So I am wondering if it would be technically possible to say, freeze frame th

When I start a session and want to use my own pic, I click on the plus to add and then get a message. The message is displayed in the attached pic.   Not had this before, so would love to get this resolved.  I am the owner.  How do I make myself admin, or, give myself permissions to add?   Thank you

I have set my laptop as a Zoom HostMy guest has a Zoom invite on their laptop which they can access and they see my video just fine.However, they cannot hear my audio even though the mic and speaker settings on both laptops are correct.I am considering upgrading my Zoom account but am unwilling to do this if the audio cannot work.Could someone please help?
