I have a DragonTouch K10 tablet (Android 8.1.0).Internal, Bluetooth and wired headset audio are all fine with other apps, e.g. AudioLab, where I experience no problem at all with any of the microphones. (AudioLab did need me to opt explicitly to use the Bluetooth microphone the first time.)But I simply cannot get the Android Zoom app (currently version 6.3.11 (28195)) to pick up audio from any microphone at all, internal, wired, or Bluetooth. Zoom thinks I have a microphone, the microphone permissions setting is in place, but no sound is picked up. Meanwhile the speaker is 100% fine in all cases.I have uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom on the tablet from the Google Play Store, and most recently tried the app download on the Zoom website, all with no joy.This site indicates that Zoom fully supports Android 8.1.0.I have tried the Zoom test (zoom.us/test) which just tells me I have a microphone and then exits (not helpful).I have run out of things to try, any ideas gratefully received.

I have read about Spotlight and decided to use it during a meeting of writers where I serve as Zoom Host. They produce short documents, send them to me and I put together a document for the group. During the meeting, I use Share Screen to show the document so others can follow along as the author of the section reads what s/he had submitted. When I Spotlighted the reader, others could still change their view so that they still saw all participants rather than just the Spotlighted one. This is not what I expected and seems to contradict what I read about Spotlight. The session isn't being recorded. Am I missing something or is that just the way it works?

My colleague and I are in charge of running webinars for our organisation. Our organisation has a Pro account, and we are both Workplace Pro users on this account. If I set up a webinar via my account, is there a way for my colleague to be able to collaborate on the setting up of this webinar via her account? For example, update the description, manage registrations, access the reports and the recording? We understand the Co-Host aspect which is useful for the actual running of the webinar, but would like to collaborate more on the pre and post event aspects of this.

Can I have 200 participants on Zoom A large meeting license—depending on the license— allows up to 500 or 1000 participants to attend a Zoom meeting. The owner or the admin of the account can add this feature for Licensed users, and it can be subscribed to on a monthly or annual.

Anyone figure out how to get an account rep that handles your account without waiting weeks for followup?  I thought the previous phone company we had was bad, but Zoom seems to be worse.  It was great during the sales cycle, and then just utter crap once the order was signed.

Hello,I have an issue that is due to my own mistake and not double checking which account I was signed into but I am hoping there is a way to fix this issue if it happens again in the future... I am the Executive Assistant at the company I work for and my Zoom account was added as a licensed user on my Boss's Zoom account. So for each scheduled meeting I am marked as an Alternative Host which works great when I select the link while signed into my own login. However, sometimes I have to sign into my boss's account for certain tasks; if I don't sign out and log back into my account before starting a meeting it will automatically sign me into his account and I have to run it has him which then makes him unable to join the meeting. How do I "end the meeting" and/or "sign into my own account" without making the link an issue for others to join afterwards, as this was the issue I ran into twice now? I need more cloud storage than the 5gb I have - if I cancel my current subscription and upgrade to one that offers more cloud storage, will I lose the current recordings I have on my account?  I really appreciate any advice. It seems so challenging to contact Support.

I've ordered and paid a one year licence for Zoom Workplace Pro for two members with a discount for non profit organisations. I only wanted to pay this on behalf of my organisation because others don't have a right to do this. I'm the admin.I don't need Pro version, so I changed the basic version for myself. I thought that now I can give this Pro version for two team members who need it in their work. The other one went fine but the other one not - the ad says that due to cancellation they cannot proceed. The cancellation might refer to a cancellation they made for a monthly licence of Zoom that they had before. Now it only suggests that they can take a monthly Zoom but we don't want to pay more because we can't use even this that we already paid. I wonder what we should do to get this to work?? Please help! 

I used to be able to show my personal meeting controls to my participants (toolbar, workplace app, etc.).  This was helpful when training others to use the platform.  I keep the setting to "always show meeting controls" turned on in the workplace app so that I see the controls, but there used to be a second setting in the web interface that would show the controls to my participants.  I can't find that anymore.  Has this function been taken away?

Instructions say to check what version zoom you have go to your profile picture and click help and then about to get to that option.When I go to my profile picture there is no option for help.  Any suggestions welcome. Trying to determine what is the latest version and download it if I don't have it.  When I go to the download center nothing happens when I try to download 5.9.

I am experiencing an issue with sharing both computer audio and screen simultaneously during a webinar session on Zoom.Here are the details of the problem:I am using a Zoom Webinar plan and hosting webinar sessions.When I attempt to share my screen during the webinar, the "Share Sound" checkbox is visible but grayed out, making it impossible to enable sound sharing.If I go to the "Advanced" tab in the screen sharing menu and choose "Computer Audio Only," the computer sound is shared successfully, but the screen is not shared.This issue occurs on multiple PCs, not just mine, so it seems to be a broader issue rather than a device-specific one.I have already checked the following:My Zoom client is up to date.The settings in my Zoom account on the web portal do not seem to provide any option to enable or disable computer audio sharing.My computer's audio and microphone settings are configured correctly.I am the host during the session, so permissions are not an issue.

Hi, I recently updated to Fedora 35 with GNOME 41. This GNOME release restricts the screenshot API which Zoom has used for screen sharing on Wayland, so the screen sharing functionality no longer works (see here on Ask Fedora). I require screen sharing for school, and I'm sure many others have a similar requirement/system configuration. With Wayland increasingly becoming a de facto standard on Linux, it is crucial that Zoom support Wayland screen sharing.

My number has been ported, but I cannot assign it to myself as the primary user.  When I try, I am getting the error message that this feature requires a Zoom Phone Metered or Unlimited or Pro Plan (see attached screenshot).  I have a Pro Plan as verified with Sales today

Can someone tell me the actual DNS records to use for domain name verification? I'm trying to verify our domain name, and it seems like there's incomplete and conflicting information. The instructions in the verification popup give me a domain-level TXT record, OK that's done. Then it says it wants a CNAME to "events-branding.zoom.us," but doesn't give me a subdomain for that CNAME record. If I try to use "events-branding" as the subdomain for the CNAME record, then in the verification failure error message it says my A record was not found. But they didn't tell me to create an A record! And over in a help document, it says to create a different TXT record for a subdomain as well as an A record, but doesn't give me an IP address to point the A record to! So, could someone who has successfully verified their domain for branding share what DNS records they created?

I'm looking to find a way to setup an audio alert, on my computer not my phone, when a Zoom contact calls.  Skype has this feature and it is very useful.  I can hear the ringing and quickly go to my computer to 'pickup'.  Can't do that with Zoom or at least I can't find a way to setup such a feature.  Is it possible?  Thank you for any help you can provide.  I'm obviously a recent transfer from Skype to Zoom as a result of Skype being discontinued in May 2025.

I'm getting a message that I need to update to version 5.17.5 or newer.  However, when I download the update, I get version 5.16.6.  How do I get 5.17.5?

When I was the host for an MNC series of webinars on HVAC topics,  I was told that it is not advisable to have a breakout room as the audience may be too large to handle? But when I tried it out during one of the webinars,  I noticed it is possible to do so but you need to prepare your breakout room in advance. You need to do some management of likeminded participant to ensure the audience do not get passive in their interactions. Do share what are your strategies for keeping your breakout room engaged and participative especially for the shy Asian audiences.

Is there a way to automatically export meeting data, comparing invited guests with actual participants, without using VLOOKUP in Excel? I was downloading a Zoom recording from Zoom.us and decided to trim the video. Unfortunately, I accidentally trimmed out the part I needed and kept the part I didn't need.Is there any way to undo this trim or restore the original, unedited recording?I haven't been able to find an 'Undo' option, and I'm really hoping there's a way to recover the original file.Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Oct. 11, 2023Seeing more responses on the issue, I updated my original message to make it more useful. Problem:On my Windows 11 laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad, E495, ethernet wired connection), when I start Zoom (even without signing in, same with Microsoft Team), the internet speed test shows a 30-times drop, from 450 Mbps to ~10 Mbps. Temporary remedy: After your Zoom session, QUIT Zoom (or Team) COMPLETELY so your internet speed is back to normal. You make sure this by clicking the "Show hidden icons" arrow at the bottom-right of your screen to see all the applications running and exit Zoom if it is still there. Attempted fix. It worked briefly for an earlier version of Zoom, but does not work anymore (after Zoom version evolution) as of Oct. 11, 2023 :   1.) Search for the "Control Panel" and open this up.   2.) I have set up a number of whiteboards (have purchased the whiteboard add on license) and want to share the whiteboards in separate break out rooms. I want the groups to edit the whiteboards in the breakout rooms and bring them back to the main group.I have not been able to find out how I can share the whiteboards with the breakout groups, I am unable to share the link in the chat as the main chat is wiped when they go into break outs. If I send it as a broadcast message they can't click on the link. Even if I make it one whiteboard to share across all groups I can't not share it to the breakout rooms like you can with a shared screen. I have reviewed all similar questions in the community and have found no solution, I have done the training with no solution to this problem shown. Please advise.

Hello. I'm studying Zoom phone to deploy to a customer company, and I'm wondering if a Zoom Phone IVR can redirect calls to a Zoom Contact Center voice queue (with ZCC queue capabilities). Is that possible?

When in zoom meeting my chat window does not have emoji option. Happens whether attendee or co-host. All other attendees have it.  This has been going on all week.  I have used multiple computers, multiple zoom accounts, and reinstalled zoom twice.
