I have had this happen twice.  I pinned myself so I record only me on the video, (participants are in a line above) then randomly someone else's face shows up in the main box and I am not able to get myself back into the center position. The video records is a grey silhouette.  This is not intentional from the participant, it just randomly happens. Can't find any answers to why. Please advise if you know. Thank you.   

Is it possible to livestream an event with a couple of hosts and muted participants and then end the livestream but send participants into breakout rooms for discussion? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi all,happy new year to everyone.As i am digging actually into streaming with OBS and Zoom i have a question regarding the max. video quality that can be achieved within the basic zoom client.Just no matter how many participants involved my maximum Video/Streaming resolution is 640x430 instead of the configured 1080p. Is this a limitation to the basic zoom account or is there any "trick" to make OBS streaming work in FullHD in a basic Zoom Meeting.(There should also not be any bandwidth issues as there is a persistant 400MBit/s syncr. broadband connection available.)Thanks for any help and information.(Form my perspective the product description of zoom is not very clear here.)Timo

Hope someone can help us. We are a small firm with some paid Zoom Pro accounts.Our consultants schedule meetings with clients via Zoom. We send the clients the meeting room details when they book. Some clients however test the link beforehand and then enters the meeting room while the consultant is busy with another client. How can we prevent this from happening?

I'm thinking that can the host see other participants' screens? I went search in the internet and they all said that the host cannot see your screen if you are not sharing it, and that made me thought, that this is true. But today, I have a meeting, and I was reading newspaper all time, and surprisingly, the host can see my screen and told me that I shouldn't do that in the meeting. I was very confuse. Can someone explain this for me?Extra: The host said that she used two apps to see my (and other participants') screen. First, she use the app called "UltraViewer", and she doesn't tell us the second app. Thank you.

I have a question about capturing the participation time of ZOOM webinar attendees. We will be directing ZOOM webinar attendees to an external survey form where they will be given a confirmation test on the webinar content. We would like to include the time spent on the webinar in the results. We would like to retrieve the webinar information via API, but is it possible to retrieve the webinar participation time from the ZOOM ID?If you have any documentation such as a list of information that can be retrieved, it would be appreciated.  The flow I am envisioning is as follows (1) Webinar will be held on ZOOM.(2) Direct the ZOOM webinar attendees to the confirmation test form.(3) Ask them to enter their ZOOM ID in the form.(4) Ask them to answer the confirmation test.(5) After the confirmation test, output the test results to CSV for tallying (we want to add the ZOOM participation time to this CSV).(7) Judge the completion result based on the results of the confi

my laptop died before Zoom was able to download the recorded session to my laptop. How do I retrieve the file?thanks 

Today - 28th of December I had to break few lessons with my pupils because zoom was not usable - video and audio problems. Lost money because of that. It happened in the morning and in the evening again. Any others had this problem? I tried with other internet connection - the same result.  Any idea? If it happens one day more, i am going to leave zoom because only today I lost money with it.

Every time I join a call - even ones I've setup - I have to choose the video filter again.  My choice is never saved. Any ideas why or how to fix this?

When I edit a meeting scheduled as recurring in my zoom-destop-app to change some settings the meeting is changed to a none-recurring meeting. Why this?

We're a very small organization and have a paid pro plan whose owner is ***********.  When I run a Zoom meeting, I log into Zoom as ***********.     We also have someone, call her Mary, who's Gmail account is somehow "associated" with our paid paid.  Mary wanted to buy her own paid plan but when she went to buy it got a message that she was already on a paid plan, that the administrator was *********** and that she'd have to "disassociate" from it (see attached screen shot).    We've never seen this message and Mary isn't even sure how her Gmail was "associated."   We don't even know what it means to be "associated" and want to make sure that her disassociating from it won't break anything, in other words, that I will still be able to log in as *********** and do everything I need to do.,      

My guitar teacher and I have tried using Zoom for guitar lessons but there is a significant delay in audio during our meetings. Occasionally, there is a loud prolonged noise that sounds like white noise, static or a train passing by. It is so loud that it drowns out everything else and nothing else can be heard. The audio delay is a constant problem and the loud white noise static is a frequent problem. How do I eliminate these issues? Thank you.

HI,For the account I'm managing we have Large Meeting (500 participants) and Webinar (1000 participants) for all the users.Accounts are created automatically through SSO at first sign-in.How could I automatically assign the Large Meeting (500 participants) and Webinar (1000 participants) feature ?Currently it is a manual process, on a monthly basis export the list of users, identify those without the feature and assign through bulk import. + manual assignement based on tickets created by the end-users.ThanksJM

This setting is available to Pro account holders but I cannot find the setting for Basic account holders.The setting is of paramount importance when setting-up the Save Video Order feature in 5.9.0. The setting to enable the Save Video Order is available, but turning it on is pointless if the Authentication cannot be enabled, as Authentication is a prerequisite of using Save Video Order.Is the Save Video Order feature available to Basic account holders when Hosting a meeting?

Hi, We had an event with professional musicians. Some used external mics, and some did not. We did a sound check with each of them, and during the sound check the sound quality of music  (voice and instruments, using Orignal Sound) was impeccable. Then the meeting began, with 78 participants, and in the cases of those who did not have external mics but used the computer’s mic, the bars on their internet went to yellow or red, and we had dreadful sound. A few singers were on phones, with ear buds and mics, and their quality was terrific. I wonder if it was due to my own internet connection. I started the meeting, but because I don’t have the best internet, I transferred the hosting to someone with excellent internet. Whose bandwidth controls the quality? The person who started? The current host? The performer themselves? Any ideas would be helpful before our next event. Thank you.

Hi, Zoom seems to force a waiting room for users when they join a meeting using "Personal Meeting ID". I deselected the "Personal Meeting ID" and selected "Passcode" option when creating a Meeting with "Personal Meeting ID" but the system still forces the waiting room onto the users. How can we use the "Personal Meeting ID" without having a waiting room?

Hi!I will not be needing to use webinars for several months so I'm thinking of cancelling my subscription (for a while at least). Could you tell me if I will loose all the info on the platform from my previous webinars (registered participants, their answer to surveys/questionnaires...)? I guess if that is the case, I just have to make sure I download everything first.I'm keeping my Meeting subscription, by the way.
