Solved

I need to create Zoom Meetings with required registration, but those registrants are permitted to invite their colleagues, who do not need to register; they can just join. When the initial person registers, they receive an email with a unique link. If they share that link, other people will join with their name. Is there any way to avoid this? I cannot edit the registration confirmation email to show only the generic join link, which would solve the problem.

I am doing a csv file import for a zoom webinar and I'm noticing that the number confirmed in Zoom is less than the number on the csv file. I am wondering if Zoom automatically deduplicates or if I need to look further regarding the discrepancy.

Hi, Probably a really simple question.  I have just upgraded to Zoom Pro from the Basic model.  However, I already had a couple of meetings scheduled for today that were arranged prior to me upgrading.  Do I need to rearrange these meetings with a new code, or will these automatically be upgraded so I receive longer than 40 minutes for these meetings? Thanks in advance!

Hello there, Our institution is planning adoption SSO for our students but would be much appreciated if we could customize the confirmation email. On Admin > Advanced > Branding > Emails tab it is possible to change some default emails, but I did not find an option to change this specifically. So here's the question, It is possible to customize this email? if it is, how can I do it?Best regards.

Steps to reproduce: I open Zoom. I start a new meeting, just me in it. I click "Share Screen". I get the new window with the various screen share options. Rather than choosing one, I click the top-right "X" to close the screen share options window. So in other words, like in a meeting I was going to share my screen and then decided not to. Zoom exits abruptly. The last lines in the log are zoom was exited due to a handled signal: 11ZoomLauncher exit. Signal 11 is a segmentation fault.  I would have attached the log, but this forum only allows image file attachments.

To Whom It May Concern:  My name is Andrew Wissler.  How do I save an in-meeting chat on your Android app, and how do I find and change the default folder for where it is saved?  Also, how can I view the chat side-by-side with the meeting on your Android app?  Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you very much.  Sincerely,  Andrew Wissler

Ran into an issue with my GPO deployment of Zoom, I have a few machines when trying to upgrade, are whining about not being able to find the MSI for 5.11.1, just looking for a link to the MSI file so I can pop it back into my deployment share to resolve those issues. Thanks, - M

Hi. I'm a teacher that is teaching online classes via Zoom, switching from other products. How do I let students in multiple breakout rooms communicate with me from inside the room? The only feature that seems to work is "ask for help", but I'm missing understanding of how to do two simple things: 1: How do I let them put their hands up or similar to show that they're done with an assignment?2: How do I let students chat with me in the main room from inside the breakout room? Please let me know if there are any supported ways of doing this or if we need to invest in more license options, external tools or plugins. Best regards!

I have zoom version 5.11.11 downloaded but I can't have blur virtual background available. My mini PC process is Please advise.  Thanks a lot!

Hello,I am having trouble to share screen and broadcast in a Zoom meeting due to “restrictions,  air play, car play and mirroring”??? I can’t access any so called “Advanced Feature” and “Video Feature” under “Share Screen” on my IPad. I am able to save a YouTube video in Photo App but not access from “Share  Screen” in a meeting while I am the host.I copy and past the video link to Website URL in Share Screen which opened and played the YouTube Video with NO visual content. I don’t know what else to try?How CAN I share YouTube video in a Zoom meeting??Thank you.😳

I love being able to share photos and documents in the chat feature, but when its a document, it forces a download in order to view it, that just creates files I need to delete from my computer later, often times I just need to view what is shared with me, don't need or want to download it.  When it is a photo, I can view without being forced to download.  Is there a way to turn off the forced download?

Hola, me gustaría saber si existe la posibilidad de que los participantes a la reunión puedan ver un slide - tipo foto - mientras están en sala de espera.  Gracias

Hey, I have a problem with deleting my profile photo. I deleted the photo multiple times from the Profile section on the website, but after the next meeting it always comes back. I want to permanently delete my photo, but I don't know how and I can't find answers elsewhere. Thanks!

Someone else created a Zoom meeting and created a poll for it. She launched the meeting, and then when I joined she transferred the host role to me. I launched the poll, and meeting attendees answered it - but now we can't find the poll results either in her Zoom account or in mine. Where can we find them?

Hello,We have replaced our Cisco Deskphone by Zoom phone. With the old system, I could configure that :From Monday to Saturday, From 07:00am to 19:00, all incoming calls are forwarded to my mobile phone.Out of these time frames, the incoming calls are just going to the Cisco answering machine and I received a mail with the voice message. How can I configure this functionality with Zoom phone ?I did some searches, read a lot of documentation but couldn't find anything related to that. Thanks and regards.

I need some help! I cannot find the cloud recording of a meeting which I recorded as co-host. I closed my computer (folded shut) before ending the recording (which caused me to leave the meeting). After waiting 24 hours, the recording has still not shown up. Where might the recording have gone?

Hi,I wanted to know if it's possible to have the company domain prefilled on the desktop app when a user selects SSO as the sign in method.Basically, we're looking for the app to have our company domain already there so the user doesn't have to enter it themselves.Has anyone successfully done this, perhaps with a customized app package?  We're using Windows 10 endpoints.Thanks.

On June 14, 2021, I purchased the ZOOM annual plan which must remain effective until June 14, 2022. However, my current license is listed as Basic and the 40-minute restriction appears when creating a session. I urgently need a solution to this, please

Hello! Is there a way to share links and files through chat that are also accessible to viewers who are watching the recording? Also, is there a way for viewers to see the chat while the recording is playing (vs. it being a separate file)? Thank you!

Bonjour,J'ai acheté une licence Pro, mais quand je me connecte, ça n'apparait pas et c'est toujours un compte basique... quelqu'un peut m'aider SVP! MERCI!!

Whenever I try to use a virtual background, it is patchy and doesn't cover much of my room. See image, where you can still see my art and fan and part of my face is covered. My room is quite bright, but I have also tried lower-light situations. It's always the same. My zoom is up to date.  Any suggestions?
