Hi! My problem is that during one particular Zoom webinar event, participants can only write in the chat to hosts and panelists and not to everyone as usual. What can be the problem here? Thank you in advance.

Today someone with a paid account performed a demonstration for me (yoga class) which I wanted to record on my PC. I did not see the option to do so. She recorded on the cloud and sent me a link.I was surprised that I did not have the option to record because yesterday, a different person (with a free account) invited me to a meeting and I was able to record after getting permission.Is there a way for a host to record in the cloud and for a participant to record on his own computer? Thanks.

Hello, two of my friends are using Zoom on a Chromebook. They both are getting this error message when logging into our meeting: "zoom client must be upgraded to join this meeting".  (See attached picture.) We checked and their Zoom client, Chrome browser, and Chromebook are all up to date. The zoom client is version 5.0.1 for chrome os. Is there a there a reason why they're both getting this error message? It started after everyone received the latest mandatory update, but the chromebook os didn't get this update.  Do they have to wait for an update? 

Hello. I updated my Zoom client and have lost some important functionality in regards to recording and using the whiteboard. A little background: I've been using Zoom for about a year for French classes two times per week. My teacher is in France and I'm in the USA. I record the classes to my local PC so that I can go back and take notes, etc. Before today, the normal flow for the class would be 1) I launch the meeting, 2) teacher connects, 3) I start the recording, 4) when she needs to use the whiteboard, I make her the host, she launches the whiteboard and the recording continues to capture both of our cameras and the whiteboard to my local PC. 5) At the end of class, we end the session and the recording renders to my PC. After the update I installed this weekend, I start the recording but when I promote her to host so that she can launch/manage the whiteboard, the recording stops. So I tried using the new Whiteboards option. She's able to manage the whiteboard now without

Is it possible for more than one person to register for the webinar using the same e-mail address?

I am the Owner/Admin of a Pro paid account.  I want to pull Participant info.  Every video tells me to start with the 'Reports Tab'.  There is no 'Reports Tab' under Personal or Admin.  Where can I find and access the info I need.

Hi, I've started using Zoom only a couple of weeks ago. Since then I've used it almost on a daily basis. In every meeting I have connection problems. More or less every 10-15 minutes there's a connection problem arising for about 10 seconds, in that either the other person's video is freezing and the sound is gone, or their video keeps moving but the sound is gone. After that the notification "Unstable connection..." is shown and then it's fine again until the next time it happens. It happens using the web app in Safari and Chrome as well as using the Zoom app, both when logged in to my account as well as when joining a meeting as a guest. When it's a group meeting, it only happens for me and all the other people's connections are fine. It's definitely not my internet connection. I'm using a cable to connect to the router, no Wifi enabled. All other video chat/conference tools like Skype, Google Meet, Signal, Telegram and Jitsi work fine. I'm using the Zoom app

The current Linux version of the zoom client breaks the virtual background function. The camera works fine, but switching to virtual background either freezes the image or just shows a black screen.Has anybody observed the same behaviour?

Hi, I own a fixed IP address at the office given by my ISP (Movistar) the IP address is 80.28.235.27 If I open a browser from that IP to https://zoom.us it is directly blocked. But if I change my IP and use dynamic IP of sharing phone internet connection everything is fine. For some unknown reason that IP is blocked.It is interesting to mention that the IP is NOT in any blacklist and has never been used for spam. Also, it is blocked since more than a month now (maybe since ever?) So, we cannot use zoom.us services from the office Hope someone from zoom can take a look at the reason for this! Regards (from my phone connection)Ignacio

Hi! I have recorded a webinar, but now I realise that the settings were "Record active speaker with shared screen" when I really wanted "Record gallery view with shared screen". Is there anyway to change this afterwards?

HI, I am new to Zoom and have a meeting tonight. I did a test run signing in today and noticed that the video/camera has me showing upside down and there is no volume even though it is unmuted? Zoom help said to click on Profile photo at top right hand of page and select settings, when I do this there is no option for settings??!!! Can anyone kindly help?

Hi,we tested the interpreter functionality on Zoom Room systems and found some differencies between teh operation of the Windows based, and the Android system;customer set two translated languages: English (which is among the defaults), and Hungarian (added as custom).The Android based system shows both languages available, while the Windows based shows the English only.(also on the list of participants, the interpreter is marked with 'EN' when act as english translator, but when set as Hungarian, the "HU" mark only appears on the Android's lsit, bit not on Windows)Did anyone had the same issue ever?Should be the cause that one is custom language, while the other is a custom added?Any ideas appreciated!Thanks

I am a new Zoom admin for an organization and would like to know if Zoom retains the cloud recordings for any users we move to a Basic account. Things to Note:We are currently provisioning Zoom accounts through OneLogin and looking to implement a process where we downgrade their license based on an internal status. Ideally we'd like to be able to do this without losing access to any cloud recordings.

Is there an auto response setting when receiving SMS thru chat? 

I attend a regular meeting that focuses on using sharing experiences when using Zoom for hybrid meetings. It's received wisdom in the group that adding co-hosts to a meeting (i.e. assigning co-host to people already in the meeting) increases the bandwidth requirements. This sounds unlikely to me, but can anyone provide an authoritative answer?

Question: Will the 30 day expiration for a non reoccurring meeting clock start if someone launches the meeting and the meeting is scheduled past 30 days out. Scenario: Someone accidentally clicks or tests the meeting link and launches the meeting or allow participants to join is checked in settings (no time limit before meeting selected).  Say someone starts the meeting or goes into the waiting room - does this trigger the 30 day expiration clock (even if the meeting is say 60 days out)? In the Support article the definition on Non reoccurring meetings expiring in 30 days either 30 days after the meeting or if the meeting was launched:Scheduled, non-recurring meetingsA scheduled, non-recurring meeting ID (also known as a one-time meeting ID) will expire 30 days after the scheduled date. If you restart the same meeting ID within the 30 days, it will remain valid for another 30 days.Scheduled meetings can be started at any time before the scheduled time

I can set up Zoom meetings either requiring registration or allowing the participants to connect with a one-click link. Is there a way to combine these two possibilities? In other words, to have a meeting where a one-click link can be sent around to our team (say 50 people; to minimize their time waste with separate registrations), and have a Zoom registration link where external people can register (so that we could do a basic quality checking)? I've noticed that Zoom recordings can be played back at faster speeds.  Many of us are taking music lessons and need to be able to slow the recordings down to 75%, 50% or 25% like what's possible on YouTube.  Is this possible on Zoom?  I don't see it as an option but many people would use this feature.Thanks

El problema es que no puedo recuperar el chat, las palabras que escribimos durante esa reunón específicamente. He buscado por todos los medios y no sé dónde encontrarlo. Tengo una licencia de pago y pensé que estos chats de las reuniones se guardarían en la nube, pero veo que no. Soy profesor de español para extranjeros y suelo usar el chat para corregir vocabulario. Este chat, por ejemplo en Skype, siempre permanece, pero aquí en Zoom es frustrante que desaparezca y más cuando es un problema del programa.  ¿Alguien sabe cómo recuperar ese chat?

For the past two plus years, like most teachers in America, I have been using Zoom to have online virtual classes.  I have always recorded the class meetings locally and then posted them on my website for students. For the first couple of years Zoom included the teacher/speaker in a small window in the top right corner while I shared my computer screen to the class in the local recordings. This was great because I tend to use my hands and a facial expression a lot during lectures.Now the teacher/speaker window is not included in local recordings. The same thing happens no matter which computer system I am on when I teach the class. The teacher/speaker window is available while the class is live, but not in the local recordings. I searched the internet for an explanation and looked for help so I can fix the problem, but I have not found one. Please share with me how I can get the teacher/speaker window back in the top right corner of local recordings. Thank you in advance
