I have a particular problem. I used to participate in meetings on Zoom and I could display my video without having a personal zoom account. A few months ago, I opened a zoom account and created a meeting. By mistake, I checked the "Stop my video when joining a meeting" box in the camera settings. After that, when I activated my camera during a meeting, the camera was considered activated but only displayed a black screen. In Windows 10, in the camera privacy settings, my camera (an integrated webcam) was seen as currently being used by the Zoom app.The problem remained after of course unchecking "Stop my video when joining a meeting" in the camera settings, restarting the computer, downloading the latest version of Zoom, stopping my Zoom account. I have left the problem alone by joining Zoom meetings with a black screen as video while the video works using other applications like Teams. Has anyone experienced the same problem? I would appreciate any help.Christian
If you have a CUSTOM DOMAIN set up for your Zoom Events/Sessions license (see this), please check to see if it is working. Zoom engineers are troubleshooting a ticket I've entered about this error which causes ALL of my user-facing event pages (Hubs and session landing pages) to generate this error:See this Zoom Clips for how this affected a client event announced on LinkedIn:https://us02web.zoom.us/clips/share/A2F3MRYxd3A5NEs3SVRpQ2Z5TG9Fa2xoZ1Z3AQ Please post a reply here if you are experiencing this issue.
This question was asked previously (years ago) and the answer that worked back then isn't working for me. I have to download this onto my 4 year old's computer (she has an old one because... she's 4!) and I don't want to upgrade a computer. Her school requires Zoom desktop client. Each time I download, it says it's not supported. I've tried all the work-arounds I can find on the internet so far. Any suggestions are appreciated!
How do you make the most of Zoom’s whiteboard for brainstorming sessions? I’d love to hear tips, strategies, or best practices for organizing ideas, encouraging participation, and saving outcomes effectively.
It seems the functionality of a NO FIXED TIME meeting has changed with what's displayed in the browser being very different to what's displayed in the app. I really need the app to reflect the browser, as currently the app is displaying INCORRECT information about recurring meetings with no fixed time. Please advise a) how to do this; b) get the developers to get this bug sorted. I've put together a video to explain the problem: https://www.loom.com/share/e1ab58cd9dab4f0db7037c7a94b250c1?sid=7a77993e-8eec-45b0-8711-a4cc2d9e4895
Is it me alone? Am I just too clumsy? Does Zoom want to get rid of Apple product user customers? What is described below took / is taking place on the Zoom Desktop App. FORMER SCHEDULING METHODUntil a few days ago, after setting the date and time of a new meeting and clicking Save in the "New event" pop up window, a new window would automatically pop up to insert this meeting in my Apple Calendar. NEW SCHEDULING METHODNow, to reach the same result (i.e. to have a window popping up to insert the new meeting in my Apple Calendar), I need to: 1. Scroll the "New event" pop up window down to its bottom2. Click Export3. Click Use an external calendar Does anyone know how I can set up my Zoom account to avoid these 3 additional steps? Thank you! FYI I have been searching the Zoom settings (how is it possible to make it so complicated! You find 1,000 of completely useless set ups, but not a basic one like the one describe above) and the Zoom
A couple of months ago the video feed from my webcam (WB7022) has become lower resolution and very choppy only in zoom. This doesn't happen on any other video calling apps like Teams or Google Meets. While troubleshooting this I've noticed something interesting - while in a call the video will be choppy, but if I boot up the DDPM software (dell camera software) the camera shuts off and on suddenly (as indicated by the light turning on and off) the the video is then PERFECT in zoom. If I turn off my video in zoom then turn it on again the choppy video returns. I'm baffled. I'm on a Mac Pro 14inch 2023, running sequoia 15.2. The webcam drivers are the lastest according to DDPM; 0.0.9,1. Zoom version: 6.3.5 (46181) I've also disabled "optimize quality of the video I send with de-noise" as I've seen other posts indicating it helped their video but it did nothing for me. I've tested with Original Quality or HD selected, and both selected, with no
Hello, there is no blur option for the background in Zoom Meeting video on my new Lenovo Tab Plus. It has Android 14 and is a really new hardware. Please help.
Hi everyone,I’m Darshan Hiranandani, encountering an issue that’s been affecting my work recently. Whenever I’m typing on my screen, whether in Keynote or Pages, the Zoom homepage unexpectedly pops up and interrupts my typing. The strange part is, this also happens when my client is typing on my screen. In addition to that, we hear a chime with every key pressed, and typing stops altogether. Sometimes, the Zoom home screen appears, and we have to click back into the document to continue typing. This has been happening multiple times per hour, and it only started in 2025.Has anyone else experienced something similar? Any suggestions on how to fix this? I’d really appreciate any help or insights.RegardsDarshan HiranandaniThanks in advance!
'You are signed in on multiple devices' message comes up on my laptop and phone - the only 2 devices I use for zoom. I have 'logged out of all devices' from both and restarted the laptop and phone. I still get the same message. Can someone help?
About a week ago ZOOM did an automatic update and since then my camera is lagging. All other participants in the meetings are fine, but my camera, as the host, is not. Any advice?
I am new to Zoom and had an issue with recording a meeting with the Free account. I have a MacBook Air with the Safari v. 17 browser and downloaded the app for my meeting. At the start of the meeting, I got a pop-up prompt that said "Enable video recording." I clicked yes and assumed the meeting was recording. At the bottom of the screen, there was a button that said "End recording." The meeting ended after 40 minutes and I did not get to click End Recording. I looked into my Zoom account from the website and under account, I checked meetings and recordings. There is no video file to be found. Any thoughts on why the meeting did not record?
I am unable to register for public webinars with my free zoom account. I am trying to join a public webinar hosted by Aurora Energy: https://auroraer.zoom.us/webinar/register/1817338665272/WN_Za6zPKuiQEubkfNhvOTW1g#/registrationHowever, when I enter my registration information, I get an error saying "This webinar is only for authorized people. Register with a different email address". Although the webinar is clearly a public webinar, and the email adress I use for registration has a free zoom account associated with it. I have raised this issue with Zoom in several tickets over the last few months, without getting any helpful response. Now my tickets are simply being closed whenever I create them. Anyone else has similar problems, or is there anyone with a free zoom account who has actually been able to register for a public webinar?
Hello Community, I am able to view only a fraction of my previous meetings---and they are the oldest ones! I read that I would only be able to view previous meetings from the last 30 days, but I don't think that's accurate. I set the start and end times, and my previous meetings are still gone. Please, can someone tell me how to view ALL of my previous meetings?
It would be incredibly helpful if Zoom displayed a Countdown Timer while participants are in Breakout Rooms. This would help participants to know how much time is left so that everyone has a chance to speak/discuss.The is a "count-up" timer, but this is not as useful as it requires people remember exactly how long the Breakout Room session was for, and is not as clear as a "count-down"There is also a 60 second reminder, but that does little to help participants manage their time over the course of a given breakout session. Does such a feature exist? If not, what is the best way to submit this feature request to Zoom?
I have Zoom workspace and have the latest upgrade. Even before this upgrade, I am unable to share audio. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the zoom application on my desktop.Attempting to share audio from apple music, whatever the settings, only results in faint static sound.
Is anyone having issues turning on breakout rooms in webinar. When you select the webinar tab there is no toggle to enable break out room.
I have the following problem:I started a Zoom Meeting and shared my screen and also the sound by switching on "the original sound for musicians" in the sound settings of Zoom.My fellows can see my screen, they can listen to my speech, but they do not hear any sound from the DAW Cubase 14 Pro.In a community of Facebook someone told me, that I have to choose the "Zoom Audio driver" in the studiosettings of Cubase 14 Pro. But this driver I do not find anywhere in the studiosettings. And I did not find any driver for my SSL12 Audiointerface for Zoom. But he could not help me to find a solution, cause he has a Mac and I have Win11 Pro.So is there anybody here, who can help me to make the System run in that way, that my meetingmembers could hear the Sound of the Cubase 14 Pro DAW on their speakers?I have already looked in the privacy settings of Win11 Pro to see, what I could do. Zoom has the appropriate permissions in the various apps, namely for the camera and microph
Since a couple of weeks some of my students loose the audio when they enter the break out rooms. Before it has never been an issue and it does not apply for all students. They have no audio in the break out rooms and when returning to the main room their status in the bottom is on 'Connecting with audio...'. After a while some will have audio connection in the main room again, while others need to leave the meeting and rejoin again. Why is this happening and what can they do to solve this issue?
I have recorded meetings in the past with no difficulty but all of a sudden my Zoom meetings do not allow me to record even though I am the host. The message that comes up is "Please ask the host to give you permission to record". How does that work if I am the host?I have tried getting others in the meeting to record but they get the same message. What am I doing wrong please? Thanks.
Hi everyone - I created a meeting and set it to record in the cloud. Presenters in the meeting did a test run using the link and it recorded, but when the time for the actual presentation came, it did not record. Has anyone experienced something similar? Is there anything I can do?
On January 14 I completed a Zoom meeting, however, I cannot access the recording
