Annotate icon was never present during my screen share meetings before.  Now that it is here, it is anchored in the bottom left and I cannot find a setting to disable it for the host(which is what I would like to do).  I host meetings where I display server logs, and all linux commands for navigating are typed at the bottom left of the screen - directly behind the annotate icon that now displays along with the green outline.  The green outline can be turned off, but annotate apparently not.  I can no longer see the text I am typing in the bottom left of a server log.   Why can I only disable annotate for attendees?  What if I don't want it at all?  Can I at least move it?

Hello,I am working on an automation project using Zoom Room Controls, aiming to control external devices, such as lamps or fans, allowing them to be turned on and off directly through the Zoom interface.Currently, I am using a Sonoff device, a Wi-Fi relay that enables internet connectivity, configured with the Tasmota firmware. However, when I previously opened a ticket with Zoom support, I was informed that it is not possible to control devices via HTTP requests within Zoom Room Controls. The only communication formats supported are UDP or TCP. When considering integration via TCP, I realized it would require creating a local broker for each client or utilizing a cloud broker. However, this approach is neither practical nor easy to maintain.With this in mind, I would like to ask the community if anyone can recommend a device or solution that offers easier integration with Zoom Room Controls. The main goal is to find a Wi-Fi relay compatible with Zoom Room Controls to automat

A guy wanted to information interview with me so I sent him a Zoom link. As he was entering, it showed his name with otter.ai after it then his login. We got talking about where the third person was for the meeting and then I forgot all about it.  I later got an email from otter saying the "live recording" had been posted. WTF? I assumed the guy had recorded it without my permission (I'm in a two-consent state). He called me and said "I have no idea what you're talking about."  So, I now know what otter.ai is and does - makes transcripts and recordings. All well and good. But how the heck did a plug-in (or whatever it is) run when neither of us have ever heard of it or triggered it? The only app I have (and don't even use) is Timer. And how do I prevent this in the future? 

I work with Android devices (Samsung s24 ultra, Samsung Tab 8+) and need an external usb microphone (wireless microphone with USB-C receiver) for video conferences. Although my external microphone works perfectly with other applications, this is unfortunately not the case with zoom. I haven't found a way to disable the built-in tablet microphone and use the external microphone. I am very much looking forward to a solution to this problem 🙂

How do I get a transcript from a local recording (not a cloud recording) of my meeting?

When sharing a screen, the Zoom windows, such as video panel and floating meeting controls, appear as gray boxes. They are still visible in the screen share even if the Show Zoom Windows when Screen Sharing feature is turned OFF. A month ago they were "invisibe" to my students, this bug has started on the latest version 6.3.5 (54827).Is there a way it can be fixed and become "invisible" again?

I have big issues in organizing my meetings.Years ago I defined three meeting and selected "meeting anytime"This three meetings appeared in the Zoom App at the bottom as "reccuring meetings"Now it is no more possible to set up a meeting like this. Reccuring now means in a stuborn pattern like 10 o'clock ever 1,2,3,4, days, week or month.But the worst is, that two of the three meetings are no longer displayed in the "reccuring meeting" section.The Meeting Links and Codes have been widespread to my audience, therefore I can not set up another meeting with diffrent credentials.Second the regularly planed meetings still apear in the Zoom App, but without the option to start the meeting, The links are missing.In the screen shot, one can see the two section.The first section with my meetings, not able to quick start from the zoom calendarThe recurring section, with the missing Meetings. Actualy the last one, the Awaken your SOUL Meeting is a reccuring meeting and it is now set to every month

I'm running Windows 11 64bit. Zoom version 6.3.6 (56144). PowerPoint - MS Office Home 2019. I want to share a ppt presentation with meeting participants. After launching the presentation and sharing with participants in presenter view, they see my slides and notes instead of just the slides. Also, when I advance the slides manually, their view is stuck on the first slide... I have tried several different settings in both Zoom and ppt. This problem started when I did the last Zoom update to the current version. Please help.  

Hello, I hope one can answer my question. I worked for Company A and set a custom personal link to "mycustomlink". Now I work for Company B and would like to set my custom personal link here also to "mycustomlink". I can save it but there's a notification about this not being global as it was taken already.Both companies using SSO hence my custom link contained the company name. Which would suggest me that I'm creating "non-global" custom links. Or perhaps the first time a custom link is created it will be global and after that you can only user the same link as local? Thanks

Hi, Since the beginning of the year, when people join my personal room, I don't see them in the waiting room. Instead, I receive an e-mail saying they have joined, I need to close the meeting and open it again from the link on the e-mail.I have the latest zoom version and I have already tried what has been suggested in other posts, but the problem persists. How can I solve this? Thanks!

I can't use the microphone when using an iPad.I've tried all the settings on Apple but it hasn't been resolved, so I think it's something to do with the compatibility between Apple and Zoom.Is there a solution?

Over the past month or so, my mouse / cursor cannot be controlled while Zoom and Outlook are open, the cursor randomly moves across the screen?I have other video conferencing apps and this only happens with Zoom.I've tried unplugging my mouse and this didn't help, so it doesn't appear to be the mouse itself (Logitech G Pro). If I close Outlook everything is ok...so it seems like it's the interface with Outlook that's causing the problem. (I'm using Windows / Office 365 Enterprise for business and of course it's up to date.)My PC is a high end ASUS TUF gaming notebook, with Windows 11, all drivers are to date, as is my Zoom.Any insight with how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated.

We hold webinars several times a month.The webinars are held separately by content using the registered webinar URL.For each URL, there is a background that makes it difficult to see the detailed angle of view,Some things may be displayed in the desired formI would like to unify all displayed ranges if possible, is there any way to do this?The same PC, accuracy, sitting position, etc. are set the same, but it differs depending on the URL.

I have a Macbook Air M1 (8-core). When I join a zoom meeting (version 6.3.5) and try to select "live performance audio" like the rest of my group, I do not find that option in audio settings where it should be below "original sound for musicians." Why?

Hi there,My zoom app is not detecting microphones - this includes my built-in laptop microphone, and also my headphone microphone when I test with my microphones. I'm using Windows 11. My microphone works perfectly in my Sound Settings, and on Teams calls. Error message on Zoom "Failed to detect your microphone. Please make sure your microphone is properly connected."I have tried so many steps online - including:- rebooting the PC- re-installing the Zoom app (now have the Zoom Workplace app version 6.1.11 (45504) installed)- checking for driver updates on device manager- checking for Windows updates (including optional updates)- playing with the Audio settings in Zoom - including the Advanced Audio settings- in Privacy Settings, ensuring the Zoom app has access to the Microphone- going to the Microphone settings and unchecking 'Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device'- run the Sound troubleshooter - didn't find any issues- tried plugging in a headset - still sa

I attend a lot of webinars from various places. I have a paid Zoom account, and am logged in. Yet I have to enter all my details (name, email, org) EVERY D*MN TIME. I reached out to Zoom help desk about this, and they said it's for "security." This is BS. If I'm logged in, then that's all the security you should need. It takes 0.0 seconds for a bot to auto-fill a form with spam registrations. It takes me minutes. This "security" feature makes it harder for people to register, and easier for spambots. Please autofill webinar information for logged in customers. If someone is spamming with an account, you should be able to catch that.

Hello! I'm trying to figure out how to share my screen on a Google Slide Deck and play music via the Zoom Music App at the same time. When I try to do this, the volume on the music in the Zoom Music App lowers despite it being set at the highest volume. My laptop's volume is also set at its highest volume and I'm unmuted.  Another issue I've encountered is when I go to stop the music via the Zoom Music App it says that my screen share has been paused. But, I don't want the screen share on the Google Slide Deck to be paused, just the music. Might anyone be able to help?

In the last couple of days I've been presented to on Zoom, and twice the screen being shared has got stuck / frozen from my perspective - the presenter sees their slide  progress or moving back to a Powerpoint slide from a video, but what I see stays the same.  Me  leaving and rejoining doesn't fix, but the presenter ending and restarting the screen share does fix Their video of them, and audio, continues fine so its not a total system freeze,  weirdly I can even see their Mouse moving on what they think the new screen is! So might be a powerpoint specific issue? Zoom version incompatibility? New bug? Never saw this before and have been a heavy user for several years.

Hi folks, I use the Zoom phone SMS text feature, and recently it has been adding "For help, reply HELP. To opt out, reply STOP." to texts after I send them - even when I'm responding to someone who texted me first. Can we turn this feature off? Thank you!

Is there a way to utilize an MP4 file as the wallpaper in a Zoom Room Screen?  I currently use a JPEG

I have a Mac Mini that does NOT have a microphone. I cannot choose a "microphone" when Zoom asks me to select the speaker and microphone for the particular zoom session. The zoom video opens without any problem but I do not get the audio of this particular zoom session or any zoom session. I cannot find any option on the zoom settings to eliminate a microphone if there is not a microphone available on the computer.

Hi! Hoping someone can help. I work for a small business and made a pro account. When I send a meeting link, I want it to read -"Business Company" is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting. Topic: "Business Company's" Personal Meeting Room But when I join through that same account, I want it to have my name as the display name, not the business account. Is there a way to have these be different? Or do I just have to manually change my display name in the zoom each time?  Thanks!
