I understand that we can no longer schedule recurring meetings using our personal meeting id.  Until recently, I never experienced this limitation.  I would just like to register my disappointment with this change.  My clients all know that all of my Outlook calendar invitations have always carried the same personal i.d., and now I cannot continue on that basis.  Zoom says our personal I.D. should be reserved for "unscheduled meetings" but nearly all of my meetings are recurring.  I wish we could return to the way this worked before.  

I was downloading a Zoom recording from Zoom.us and decided to trim the video. Unfortunately, I accidentally trimmed out the part I needed and kept the part I didn't need.Is there any way to undo this trim or restore the original, unedited recording?I haven't been able to find an 'Undo' option, and I'm really hoping there's a way to recover the original file.Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

Is it possible for someone to bypass the waiting room to get into a meeting? If so, can someone do that without being detected?

Oct. 11, 2023Seeing more responses on the issue, I updated my original message to make it more useful. Problem:On my Windows 11 laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad, E495, ethernet wired connection), when I start Zoom (even without signing in, same with Microsoft Team), the internet speed test shows a 30-times drop, from 450 Mbps to ~10 Mbps. Temporary remedy: After your Zoom session, QUIT Zoom (or Team) COMPLETELY so your internet speed is back to normal. You make sure this by clicking the "Show hidden icons" arrow at the bottom-right of your screen to see all the applications running and exit Zoom if it is still there. Attempted fix. It worked briefly for an earlier version of Zoom, but does not work anymore (after Zoom version evolution) as of Oct. 11, 2023 :   1.) Search for the "Control Panel" and open this up.   2.) In the window that comes up, click on the "Network and Internet" link   3.) In there, there will be a link that says "Internet Op

I have set up a number of whiteboards (have purchased the whiteboard add on license) and want to share the whiteboards in separate break out rooms. I want the groups to edit the whiteboards in the breakout rooms and bring them back to the main group.I have not been able to find out how I can share the whiteboards with the breakout groups, I am unable to share the link in the chat as the main chat is wiped when they go into break outs. If I send it as a broadcast message they can't click on the link. Even if I make it one whiteboard to share across all groups I can't not share it to the breakout rooms like you can with a shared screen. I have reviewed all similar questions in the community and have found no solution, I have done the training with no solution to this problem shown. Please advise.

HiAs my first thread disappeared here a second try. I often have the following problem while hosting a zoom meeting.The audio and video is working fine, so my internet connection in generell is fine. But it looks like that zoom is stealing all my bandwidth. I cannot use my browser or other apps that needs internet connection (like App Store on my MacBook).I was using zoom 6.3.10 and am updating it to 6.3.11 right now. But I don't think that the problem will be gone then. My problem is similar to https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Meetings/Zoom-or-Team-slows-down-internet-speed-by-30-times/m-p/122236/thread-id/69875.Unfortunately I don't see the option "Conference Bandwidth Performance --> Gives maximum bandwidth to the conference app in use ON/OFF" on my MacBook or anything similar in zoom.

It will be nice for auto forward meeting to a mail list. I'm doing so using role on Gmail , but it's somewhat limit.

Just last week, my students haven't been able to get into my weekly meeting. Each student registers for their own log in link and for years all has worked fine. Now, almost all of them are unable to get in because it says Registration Closed. But, I've not closed registration and can't figure out how to open it. And, the oddest thing is that one student could get on today but everyone else couldn't. I've updated my zoom  to the latest and it is still happening. I use Chrome on a mac. Please help. 

Hello. I'm studying Zoom phone to deploy to a customer company, and I'm wondering if a Zoom Phone IVR can redirect calls to a Zoom Contact Center voice queue (with ZCC queue capabilities). Is that possible?

When in zoom meeting my chat window does not have emoji option. Happens whether attendee or co-host. All other attendees have it.  This has been going on all week.  I have used multiple computers, multiple zoom accounts, and reinstalled zoom twice.

The annotation icon (pen in a box) always stays at the lower left corner of the Zoom window that blocks my control tools.  Any way to remove/relocate it?  Thanks.

Hi, how are you?I've been trying to schedule a meeting where everyone can share their screen at any time, without me (the host) having to enter the meeting to change that option. I haven't found this option and it bothers me to have to be the first one to enter the meeting to allow sharing.Does anyone know how to do this?

I'm organizing a Zoom Webinar event and want to schedule a walkthrough session with my panelists beforehand. This walkthrough will cover:Familiarizing them with Zoom webinar controls (audio, video, screen sharing).Practicing entering and exiting the webinar.Testing breakout room functionality.Understanding the transition between the live webinar and the "backstage" area.I have a few questions regarding this walkthrough and the webinar setup:Panelist Registration: Do my panelists need to formally register as attendees for the webinar in order to participate in the walkthrough or the live event?Early Access & Reusability: Can we access the full webinar interface a month prior to the event for our walkthrough, start and stop the webinar during the practice session, and then re-access the same webinar with all settings intact on the scheduled event date? In other words, can we use the same webinar link for a practice run and the actual live event?

I use Zoom for a meetup group, and attend other zoom calls as well. I receive a notification whenever one of my  calls will begin usually as soon as a person logs in.  I also receive a summary of the content. The problem is that the "From" address does not reference my group, but has the name of another person who leads a call for something entirely different.  The real email is  ***********.  It shows "person -different organization." I use an address on outlook but use  apple mail on my mac.  Is this an issue with zoom, outlook, or apple? 

Ever since I downloaded the new version of zoom on my new laptop (Lenovo ideapad slim 3) zoom doesn’t work properly.first black boxes kept appearing for my students. Managed to fix the issue by changing advanced settings.However now, students don’t see my annotations. They either completely don’t see them from the start or they appear for a second to then disappear for the rest of the meeting. The students report that they can see my cursor and that’s how they know what information I am selecting. They cant see anything I draw, circle or write.this is really problematic for me as I am a teacher and annotating really helps with keeping the students engaged. the thing is, I can see everything I draw, circle or write. If it wasn’t for my students telling me, I wouldn’t even know there was an issue! what can I do to solve this? When I recorded meetings, the recording was automatically stopped (I think after 60 minutes or so) - I would like to know how I could prevent this! Any ideas? I couldn't find anything in the settings.Thank you very much for any hint!Thomas

I have a Zoom account and Fathom apparently comes with it. I want Fathom to automatically start recording on all of my Zoom meetings - It automatically starts on some of them, but most of the time when I start a Zoom, Fathom does not. In those cases I want to turn Fathom on for video recording and transcription  but there is no means of doing so. When I am in the non-Fathom meeting and I click on the "Apps" button at the bottom of the page, "Fathom" does not appear. It is a complete mystery to me why Fathom starts sometimes when I start a scheduled meeting, and sometimes does not. So if I can default to it automatically starting in every call, I can turn it off when needed. What's the secret? Why's it hard to find? I don't even know if I'm on the right board.

On the CALENDAR TAB:- "VIEW" pull down, I see DAY, WORK WEEK, WEEK, AGENDA. But how does one view by MONTH??- "EVENTS" pull down, how about adding something like "Zoom meetings" and "My Hosted Zoom Meetings"?  The "Hosted by you" gives me too many events!

 Hello,  does anybody else have issues accessing Breakout rooms if the host isn't present at re-ocurring zoom events? How can I create a re-occurring (fixed timings) event, which will be available to participants at all times, (23hours and 59minutes), that also includes Breakout rooms, that are automatically created, and existing, and participants can use them, without the host to be there, or without the host having to pre-assign or assign participants to breakout rooms - how to have this feature set up in advance automatically?thank you!

Why are passcodes being required when I sent the invitation to participants and my settings are set to require NO passcode?

Hello - I can't seem to turn off gestures on My Mac. I have gone through settings and everything is unchecked. I took a screenshot to show this but can't upload here.  If I raise my thumb even by accident a thumb bubble arrives on my screen. Then my video freezes but my audio continues. The only option is to unplug my camera and plug it back in.  The equipment I am using is a Sony a6400 camera with HDMI out into a Elgato Camlink 4k and then USB into my Mac.  This has only just started and I'm getting really frustrated with it as I also tend to "talk with my hands" so to speak.. I am on the latest version of software for Zoom and also Mac OS. Please help. Thank you.
