I've never participated in a Forum where the software presents subject threads in sequence by "MOST RECENTLY CREATED" first (no matter how many back-and-forth posts and replies exist), rather than "MOST RECENTLY POSTED" first. In other words, if I created a thread 3 weeks ago I now have to page forward an ever-increasing number of pages as time marches on, as the thread becomes older and older. It will eventually appear, when the "create date" of posts finally goes back that originally created thread date. But in fact there may have been many replies within my thread, the most recent of which might have occurred just today! So I would like my thread to be presented probably on say page 1 or 2 of this "Meetings" sub-forum, because there is a reply in the thread with a very recent date. Why wouldn't thread topics be presented on the subject list ordered this way, with "most recent reply date" shown first, no matter when the thread itself got originally created?? How can th
Hey, everyone. I provide a 20-30 minute individual Presenter Consult to speakers in my Events. The Docs Template feature is great, allowing me to create a place to put a checklist of things to cover and take notes about each presenter. I have a small PowerPoint deck I want to show each of the Presenters. It's on my PC, but ideally I wish there was ONE place I could store it in Zoom Docs, and then REFER to that one copy in the Template, which then replicates into the individual documents that are generated from the Template (just the link - not the full PPTX file). That way, when I'm getting started, I can just click the link in the Doc I'm working in, and the PowerPoint will launch. Unfortunately, I don't see any way to do this. Just making a File link to the external-to-Docs PowerPoint would be okay, but I can't find that either. And I'd prefer to have it embedded somewhere (once) so my production team would also have access to it and the i
After someone forced me to use Microsoft Teams, my webcam is now too zoomed-in/too much of a close-up when using Zoom.com. Webcam: Logitech HD Pro Webcam c920. Machine: Windows 11 desktop PC. Zoom version: I just uninstalled, then re-downloaded & installed Zoom. According to the Logitech Capture app, my webcam is not zoomed in. Same at Microsoft Teams. It's only zoomed-in in Zoom. How do I zoom out in Zoom?
Hi,I would like to file a complaint against a driving school that got a hold of my email address and keeps sending me unsolicited invitations to their advertising webinars which claim that I registered for their webinar. I have asked them to remove me from their webinar list, and they have not. This is deeply annoying, and I would guess they are doing it to other people. Is there any way to report someone for "zoom spam"?I am a basic/free user so do not have access to customer support or web tickets.
Is anyone else getting spam emails from scammers using the Zoom system and why is Zoom not doing anything about it. This is crazy and I will pull my company out of this product if nothing is done. The emails do not even allow for reporting spam. This is crazy.
I'm getting spam e-mails on behalf of zoom from some zoom-conference I attend.I don't want to block the zoom address, but I can't block the spammer if they are using zoom address as a email Any idea how report that?
Hi all, I'm currently getting emails asking me to join a currently running zoom meeting around 5-15 times per day. Here's the strange part: I do not know the person that seemingly invites me to join the meeting, I have all e-mail notifications turned off in my zoom account settings and am only getting the notifications on my outlook email client app on my iPhone. Especially weird: when I tap on the notification, no such email seemingly exists. Is there any way I can stop getting more of these emails? So far it has gotten pretty annoying. Kind regards, Moritz
I need to see a record of meetings that were hosted by my account -- specifically the date and length of the meetings. Everything I've read says to go to Meetings and click on Previous. When I do that it says "The user does not have any previous meetings." That is incorrect as I have dozens of meeting a week. Zoom's recent update has made it harder to create recurring meetings. This seems like an effort to force users into using Zoom's calendar function. So my guess is that the Previous Meetings tab is only showing data for fixed meetings. However, fixed meetings do not fit my business needs, as I have meetings with certain parties at flexible times. How can I view a record of meeting history? Thank you in advance.
How can I find a recording in cloud. I was the host however, I connected using the link I sent out to participants. That link was sent to me by Zoom with a meeting ID and passcode. I'm new to this and just used that link so I can host the meeting. However, after the meeting, I tried to retrieve the recording and could not find it. I also noticed the meeting I D I was sent is not the same ID as listed in my own personal profile. It's completely different. I don't understand why. I called zoom support and the meeting ID and passcode could not be found so I couldn't speak to anyone about my issue. I need help to retrieve the recording please.
Has anyone had the experience of using Zoom to Join to a Teams meeting? If yes please can you share the process ThxS
How can I get rid of the blue screen and just get back to the camera view?
We've set up a webinar and invited one of our Zoom Rooms as a Panelist. The webinar appears on the controller in the room (it's a Neat Bar system), but when we join the webinar, it only joins as a Participant, NOT a Panelist. While we can promote them within the meeting, our use case will often be that the Zoom Room is invited by an external party to a Zoom webinar, and we'd prefer not to have to walk them through the promotion of the participant to a panelist. Why can we not join the meeting as a panelist?
I tested the recording feature at the beginning of our meeting with just the 3 hosts, and checked that the video was saved locally on my laptop and I could play it. Then the actual meeting started, around 80 people attended, and I clicked start recording at the beginning, and end recording about 1.5 hours in. Once the meeting wrapped up and I went to check the recording file, only the initial 3s test video can be found. I have a MacBook, and video was found under Documents/Zoom. Is there anything to do to recover the recording? Multiple guests on the call, as well as the hosts, confirmed that the recording notification was showing during the call, and the "recording ended" voice also played when I clicked "stop recording" so I'm fairly certain the issue wasn't with recording, but with encoding / transferring / saving the file(s) to my local machine? Any help appreciated, this event was a hybrid memorial /celebration of life for a dear member of our community, and multiple people w
I see Concurrent and Named agents can be mixed and matched, but I can't find pricing info on concurrent licensing. Where is that listed?
I need to prerecord a voicemail message I can drop into a prospect's voicemail when they don't answer. How do I make this happen?
Hosted a webinar yesterday, had two people logged onto account as host and co-host. Premium account, which doesn't/hasn't timed out before. Webinar abruptly closed/got disconnected, without host initiation for both attendees and panelists. What happened?
I used to open the app on my desktop. I'd schedule a meeting and the link would be added to my Google Calendar event. It no longer is added. I look at the calendar, not there. Opened the app - not in the events. Login at zoom.us and the two new meetings are not there either. What has changed? If I open the event in the zoom app, it's still not displaying in the events - no way to add as zoom meeting. It's also not giving that old note of "this is not a zoom meeting."Your guidance is appreciated. The event is added to my calender, as expected, but there is no meeting link.
I think I have followed everything to record my Zoom Meetings to the cloud, but none of my recordings are able to be transcribed. They are all indicating "Audio Recording - Unable to transcribe".Does anyone have a solution to this?
I suddenly am unable to click on a link provided by the meeting organizer and get into the meeting. I've tried going through my browser, i.e., accessing the Zoom website, then entering the meeting number and passcode but that isn't working either. The suddenness of this problem has me puzzled, as I, like many of you, have spent much of the pandemic in Zoom meetings. Any ideas what a moderately tech-challenged person can do?
When hosting a zoom meeting with a host and cohosts, one person is airing their slides on the screen, while others are running more of the meeting, logistics, meaning setting up breakout rooms, monitoring participants entering the zoom, and trying to play music for the beginning of the meeting and after returning from breakouts. The music continues to be an issue. Have there been any updates to allow cohost to share music while someone else shares slides? We have allowed for multiple participants to share simultaneously, but the music does not come through clearly when we do this. does anyone have a solution for this? Have there been any updates that would help with this? We are generally sharing through Apple Music or Spotify.
Does zoom video sdk automatically fallback to audio only mode in case of low bandwidth? Or it is something that has to be present in application logic? Also whenever a particiapant joins using the zoom video sdk can we add some custom fields to the particiapant. For eg: gender, addressZoom video sdk version - 2.1.0Can anyone help me with these queries?
I am running into a strange issue that I can't seem to solve.I am using Calendly for my scheduling and have Zoom integrated. When someone books a call with me now, they are receiving a "Your Meeting is in 1 hour!" email, and it sends them an automated message saying "Your appointment is now" and then it includes a Zoom link that is invalid (it's the same link every time for everyone). I've reached out to Calendly support and this isn't on their end. I don't even have a notification set up for someone to get an email after an hour. So I have no idea how this is happening, but it's causing a major issue because people can't log in to my calls because they are attempting to click a zoom link in their email that isn't valid. Can anyone help?
Hi, I want to be able to have live OCR, so I can copy-paste directly from slides.MacOS can do it, so I hope you too! Thanks!Bob.
Zoom Workplace - Version: 6.3.11 (50104) - MacOS This is very useful feature to change groups for an upcoming activity while attendees are already in breakouts. However, once you planned a next session, if you have the need to keep the groups, there is no way to CANCEL the next session and leave everything as it was. For context, that happened to me in a workshop where people were doing an activity in groups of 4, usually followed by a discussion in pairs, but after the activity we agreed they needed to get back to their 4-people groups and do an additional round. Having a DELETE plan would be useful. Of course, having a way to SAVE group configurations (even scoped for a single session) would be even better.
One of the webinars I am attending is very loud. I rectify this by lowering my volume to 10. This creates a popup asking me, "Can't hear anything? Turn volume up." And it has a button that automatically adjusts the volume to LOUD. My headphones went to 50. I noticed this by accidentally clicking the button when I meant to dismiss the small 'x.'
