I help with a regular zoom meeting.   I also update Zoom every week.   I use Windows 11 with a desktop computer.  My task at meetings is to post links in chat, which I usually do without any problems.   There is however one link I am unable to post, although the facilitator of the group has done so without problems.   I've also copied and pasted the link into a fresh document, just to see if the problem was with the formatting on my document of links - but it was fine.   Time and time again in chat, the heading for the link posts fine, but the actual link won't post at all.   The second line remains blank.

Please, please, please allow stereo recording of meetings. PLEASE! I'm sure Zoom is aware that at least tens, if not hundreds of thousands of musicians use Zoom; stereo sound for music is crucial. This is 2022 ... we can send robots to Mars, why can't we record Zoom meetings in stereo? Thanks.

I wrote a guide to using ZOOM Docs using Docs. The whole document is set on commentary but no editing for viewers. I inserted a whiteboard, which I set to editing. This works fine. People cannot edit the document, but they can edit the whiteboard, as intended. I did the same with the forms-view of the table, wanting people to be able to fill out a form with predefined questions in my document. I have this published and set to "everyone with link can answer" but people CAN'T ANSWER. I'm talking about this view: If I set the document to edit (which is not an option, just for testing's sake), people still can't answer the questions, they can only edit them. What do I have to do, to get people to be able to answer the questions? Edit: I got it. Forms need a separate Link to share with users, they

I am in the process of testing the upgrade of Zoom Pro LTI 1.1 to version 1.3 in our Canvas LMS test environment.  After I finished upgrading to 1.3, I verified in my Canvas course that all Upcoming Meetings, Previous Meetings, and Cloud Recordings were still there and available.  So, that part looked fine.  But when i clicked on the "Appointments" tab, the schedule I created from my office hours was gone.   From my testing, the transition from Zoom Pro LTI 1.1 to 1.3 is easy and seamless, except for the created schedules in the "Appointment" tab, which don't seem to come back. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if they found a solution for this issue? Thanks!Jeff

Platform: IpadOSZoom Version: 5.17.10The issue was that the left side of the gallery view is getting cut off by black screen. And when you swipe to speaker view and then swipe back to the gallery view, the black screen part could possibly become a part of speaker view.

Hi, I have downloaded zoom on my laptop just so I can use it for meetings outside my home. However, upon entering a meeting with a promotional video, it suddenly freezes and gives me this error: Zoom has quit unexpectedly. (Note: this does not happen with my PC as it loads the promotional video without errors and I can wait for several minutes before meeting starts) However, with my laptop running windows 11, it seems to get this error regardless of multiple attempts of reinstalls, updates, and even cleaning my cache and background apps. It does show high ram usage regardless of the amount of applications I put in disable upon startup and deep sleep. I am using Acer Nitro 5 with 8GB of ram. Does anyone have the same problem as I do? Okay, my Association got the TAP IP.  When we set up a meeting, we put the link in our google calendar. The TAP IP has access to the calendar and recognizes the Zoom Link so someone can start the meeting with the tap.We have a larger meeting coming up, and we are requesting that members register for the meeting, We put the registration link in the google calendar invite, but the TAP IP does not recognize the link. Therefore we can not figure out how to start the meeting from the TAP IP.If there is any help in using the TAP IP with Zooming meetings that require registration,  it would be very much appreciated!

If I create a further meeting, with a business type, and then buy a large meeting,will it be automatically applied as a large meeting to a meeting that I have previously created?

Hi everyone,I wanted to bring up a frustrating issue I've been experiencing with the Zoom Workplace Android client. Currently, it doesn't seem possible to directly reply to incoming direct messages or channel messages from the phone's notifications.This limitation feels particularly noticeable because almost all other major messaging platforms I use, such as Skype, Microsoft Teams, Slack, WhatsApp, and Messenger, offer the ability to reply directly from Android notifications. This allows for quick responses without needing to open the full app. The inability to reply from the phone notification has a knock-on effect for smartwatch users, like myself (using a Garmin). Because the reply action isn't available on the phone notification, that functionality is also absent on the smartwatch.  Has anyone else encountered this? Hello all When having webinars, I create an event link on LinkedIn. That link should lead to the Zoom registration page where people leave their email + name. See image below.For some reason I don't get the link to do that. People can  jump in without registering. In my settings I have tcked the box: "require authentication to join"It is a recurring meeting. I am obviously missing something or some box to tick or some setting. is there a short video recording I could watch?Can someone guide to what is wrong with my settings? Thank youMaurice     

Running Zoom on an HP Laptop, using Linux Mint, latest version (dowloaded yesterday). There's a long-standing problem of video suffering from jitter and lag. Other machines are fine. This machine has two video adapters - I'm only using one for Zoom. I am receiving a massive amount of Zoom registrations that I DID NOT sign up for. Why is Zoom NOT supplying us with the ability to mark these as SPAM like Goto-Webinar does, and STOP THIS MADDNESS?????  I "opt out" of them if I can actually find the link. Some of them are hidden so well that you can't. This IS SPAMMING, and Zoom is allowing it to happen. It's like they have figured out that by using Zoom as the spamming platform, that their SPAM gets straight into the inbox.  C'mon Zoom! FIX THIS!!! Give us the "is the spam" where The spammers CANNOT remove or edit the footer. 

I started a Mac Zoom update which stopped and did not complete. I could not even close the update window.I used an App Cleaner & Uninstaller to completely uninstall Zoom.Upon downloading newly and reinstallation, the installer completely stopped again with the message window “Waiting for other installations to complete.” When I try to quit the installer I get this message, “The Installer is busy. The window can’t be closed.”So the install won't complete, and the install window cannot be removed from my desktop.Any idea how I can correct this situation so that I can download Zoom again?

I've never participated in a Forum where the software presents subject threads in sequence by "MOST RECENTLY CREATED" first (no matter how many back-and-forth posts and replies exist), rather than "MOST RECENTLY POSTED" first. In other words, if I created a thread 3 weeks ago I now have to page forward an ever-increasing number of pages as time marches on, as the thread becomes older and older. It will eventually appear, when the "create date" of posts finally goes back that originally created thread date. But in fact there may have been many replies within my thread, the most recent of which might have occurred just today! So I would like my thread to be presented probably on say page 1 or 2 of this "Meetings" sub-forum, because there is a reply in the thread with a very recent date. Why wouldn't thread topics be presented on the subject list ordered this way, with "most recent reply date" shown first, no matter when the thre

Hey, everyone. I provide a 20-30 minute individual Presenter Consult to speakers in my Events.  The Docs Template feature is great, allowing me to create a place to put a checklist of things to cover and take notes about each presenter. I have a small PowerPoint deck I want to show each of the Presenters.  It's on my PC, but ideally I wish there was ONE place I could store it in Zoom Docs, and then REFER to that one copy in the Template, which then replicates into the individual documents that are generated from the Template (just the link - not the full PPTX file).  That way, when I'm getting started, I can just click the link in the Doc I'm working in, and the PowerPoint will launch. Unfortunately, I don't see any way to do this.  Just making a File link to the external-to-Docs PowerPoint would be okay, but I can't find that either.  And I'd prefer to have it embedded somewhere (once) so my productio

After someone forced me to use Microsoft Teams, my webcam is now too zoomed-in/too much of a close-up when using Zoom.com. Webcam: Logitech HD Pro Webcam c920. Machine: Windows 11 desktop PC.  Zoom version: I just uninstalled, then re-downloaded & installed Zoom. According to the Logitech Capture app, my webcam is not zoomed in. Same at Microsoft Teams. It's only zoomed-in in Zoom. How do I zoom out in Zoom?

Hi,I would like to file a complaint against a driving school that got a hold of my email address and keeps sending me unsolicited invitations to their advertising webinars which claim that I registered for their webinar. I have asked them to remove me from their webinar list, and they have not. This is deeply annoying, and I would guess they are doing it to other people. Is there any way to report someone for "zoom spam"?I am a basic/free user so do not have access to customer support or web tickets. 

Is anyone else getting spam emails from scammers using the Zoom system and why is Zoom not doing anything about it. This is crazy and I will pull my company out of this product if nothing is done. The emails do not even allow for reporting spam. This is crazy.

I'm getting spam e-mails on behalf of zoom from some zoom-conference I attend.I don't want to block the zoom address, but I can't block the spammer if they are using zoom address as a email Any idea how report that?

Hi all, I'm currently getting emails asking me to join a currently running zoom meeting around 5-15 times per day. Here's the strange part: I do not know the person that seemingly invites me to join the meeting, I have all e-mail notifications turned off in my zoom account settings and am only getting the notifications on my outlook email client app on my iPhone. Especially weird: when I tap on the notification, no such email seemingly exists. Is there any way I can stop getting more of these emails? I need to see a record of meetings that were hosted by my account -- specifically the date and length of the meetings. Everything I've read says to go to Meetings and click on Previous. When I do that it says "The user does not have any previous meetings." That is incorrect as I have dozens of meeting a week.  Zoom's recent update has made it harder to create recurring meetings. This seems like an effort to force users into using Zoom's calendar function. So my guess is that the Previous Meetings tab is only showing data for fixed meetings. However, fixed meetings do not fit my business needs, as I have meetings with certain parties at flexible times. How can I view a record of meeting history? Thank you in advance.

How can I find a recording in cloud. I was the host however, I connected using the link I sent out to participants. That link was sent to  me by Zoom with a meeting ID and passcode. I'm new to this and just used that link so I can host the meeting. However, after the meeting, I tried to retrieve the recording and could not find it. I also noticed the meeting I D I was sent is not the same ID as listed in my own personal profile. It's completely different. I don't understand why. I called zoom support and the meeting ID and passcode could not be found so I couldn't speak to anyone about my issue.  I need help to retrieve the recording please.
