I have a free Zoom account and just purchased a Zoom Phone plan. I've been searching help articles but literally can't figure out how to make a phone call using Zoom Phone. Maybe I don't have a full understanding of what this feature allows you to do but my goal was to be able to setup a conference call with team members then make an outbound prospecting call and have my team members listen in. I believe I have everything setup. Is there supposed to be a phone icon somewhere? I read in one article that there should be a "phone" menu at the top of the Zoom meeting window but I do not have it. HELP PLEASE!!!!

Have Zoom Phone for about 162 users.  Our users use a combination of Zoom app and Polycom VVX310 desk phones.  Most use both (have a desk phone and use the app when remote). Our front desk uses a Polycom desk phone but mostly uses the Zoom app with the PowerPak add on.   I am getting more and more reports of when a call is transferred one person cannot hear the other.  It can vary on if its one of my users who cannot hear, or the remote side, but once that party calls back, the second call - audio is fine. This is happening on WARM transfers. Microphone and audio settings are not in play here as its random and occurs with the app and desk phones both, but again completely random. I am not sure even where to start with this troubleshooting.  Logs show everything is good.   Call logs do not show any errors of course as the calls are completed

Need to have two zoom phone system open at the same time

I’m trying to set up a call queue that is exclusively used for Faxing.  The members of the queue should never have this queue ring their phone, and it should never accept a voicemail.  Just send and receive faxes.Is this possible?  I think I have some settings to do this, but not clear if this will work.  Honestly, I’m surprised this isn’t an option out of the box.  TIA for any help/helpful suggestions

Cisco released their latest 9800 series phones over a year ago. Cisco markets the phone as, "use one device for Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Webex Calling, Broadworks, or other 3rd party cloud calling platforms. My Zoom rep has indicated that this phone might be certified in June 2025 and that it's on their roadmap but that no official ETA has been announced.We are seriously considering switching from our legacy Avaya Aura PBX to Zoom Phone. We like the Poly Edge devices we've tested however the Cisco 8800 and newer 9800 series devices seem a little higher quality and more substantial.  I personally prefer the larger buttons. Has anyone heard anything about when these phones will be supported by Zoom and other cloud calling platforms? I've look at all the providers (Zoom, Nextiva, 8x8, RingCentral, Microsoft, etc.) and none of them support the 9800 series yet, even though it's been out a year.

Looking for the steps to expand buttons on Poly VVX450 phone from 12 buttons to 48 buttons.

We’ve had a few users that had phones hanging off small 5 port DLINK POE powered pass-through switches. The users Poly Edge E550 phones lines were going red and the phone would reboot or cycle but come back. It would happen intermittently. We figured these low power POE powered passthrough switches were to blame so we remove them and the problem still occurred. We rolled the users phones back to 8.3.1 firmware and we haven’t had any reports. So far only two users phones reported issues but they are two users that probably talk more than others and so they noticed we think. Our of an abundance of caution we rolled all phones back to 8.3.1 and are waiting for a new firmware. Anyone had similar issues with Poly Edge 8.4.1.0068 firmware?

Hello,  We recently installed multiple MP1288s in our environment.  We have a large number of Cortelco 255400VBA-20M phones spread throughout our campus.  Currently we are experiencing an issue where the phones do not ring loud enough to be heard.  The sound is a muffled clicking.  I have found that when you slide the volume adjuster to the halfway point on the phones, they can be heard but not loud enough for most areas.  I am currently troubleshooting this issue with an Audiocodes tech, but still have not figured out a way to get the volume of the bell loud enough.  Has anyone ever come across this problem?  I have checked the firmware.  We have attempted to change the Trapezoid Ring Parameter, to no avail.  Any help would be appreciated. 

Are there logs in the Zoom web portal where I can see if there were any outages where we may have lost connectivity briefly? We had some internet issues.and one area reported they had intermittent outages with Zoom Phone  even though we have local survivability. They also reported they were missing call recordings that appeared later.Thank you in advance.

Could use some help. Lord knows the Zoom bot can’t answer tech questions!It would seem Windows (11 Pro) strips DSCP tags from packets. This results in traffic not getting priority like it should for zoom phone, or zoom video. Are others out there seeing this ? Have you instead, opted to manually set the Zoom Phone port range in the Admin panel? Do you suggest this?App Control using the router is NOT an option. That is a subscription service far beyond budgets (it would cost us an entire FT position to try to pay for that for our sites). Small agency, non-profit.  Would love to hear suggestions as this is driving me nuts. I am having issue with receiving OTP SMS. I have the call plan and phone plan, but I don’t have the 10DLC campaign. Do I need the campaign for receiving OTP SMS only? Else, what could be the issue preventing me from receiving SMS? 

I just bought a new Samsung phone. I cannot connect to my car's Bluetooth audio through the Zoom app at all. It is very frustrating. I cannot find an audio setting in either the app or website that helps. My Bluetooth audio is working perfectly for evey other app.

Last week we started noticing complaints from our staff that they were not hearing anything one some phone calls. If a person outside the company called a staff, the staff would pick up the call but not hear anything. There’d be dead silence. Staff would hang up and call back. Then, both parties could hear each other. We have noticed that the issue has become pronounced. We have heard a lot more complaints. Regardless whether it’s an outbound call or inbound call or inter-company call, the dead silence issue appears every now and then for many staff members. The ones who make/receive a bunch of calls throughout the day are hurting the most.Zoom meetings also take over 30 seconds before they connect. We had an issue last year with one our mobile numbers being spoofed, we had to discard the number eventually as hundreds of people were being called and then calling us back (there were no calls made from us)Now this past week, 2 of our numbers have started receiving calls from people returning calls we haven’t made. We don’t seem to have support for our Zoom Phone service (other than ai chat).Anyone know what we can do? We are using Zoom Phone Smart Embed embedded as an iframe in our web application. We use it in combination with the Call Me On feature to route outbound calls through a mobile device.IssueWhen the mobile device (with Zoom Workplace app installed) goes to sleep (screen lock), the Smart Embed iframe on the desktop web application displays the following error:Connection Lost: It seems your session has ended.Please refresh the page to reconnect and update the device list.When the mobile device is unlocked and the Zoom app returns to online status, the error message appears to clear on its own.
