Unacceptable delay – Zoom Phone license paid, still no number after 15 days

Hello,
I would like to explain where we stand with our Zoom Phone subscription, as the process has not gone the way we expected.
We purchased the license 15 days ago. We were aware that a separate request had to be submitted in order to obtain a phone number, and we did submit that request as required, with the information and supporting documents asked of us.
Since then, several days have passed and we have received no approval and no decision of any kind. The request appears to be pending, with no update, no rejection, and no indication of what remains to be completed on our side.
As a result, our license has been paid for and active for two weeks while remaining completely unusable: our team still cannot make or receive a single call through Zoom Phone.
Could you please tell us where the request currently stands, whether anything further is expected from us, and when we can realistically expect approval and activation?
Thank you for your help.
Best regards,

    hi @SOLUTION INTEGRALE AUTO

Sorry you are experiencing delays in setting up Zoom Phone.

You should have received an email from Zoom stating you have been provisioned for Zoom Phone.  If not call Zoom Sales.

You have an option to schedule a session with a Zoom Phone Enablement Specialist if you have less than 151 Zoom Phone licenses.  The specialist will help you set up your Zoom Phone system.

You can click the link on the Zoom email to do the set up yourself including selecting and setting up your phone number.

The phone number can be used for your company’s main number or be assigned to a user.  If your company is only one person, you may want to assign the number to the person who owns the company.   If you want to take advantage of the Auto Receptionist, you could assign the one number to the Auto Receptionist and have the Auto Receptionist route all calls to the owner.  Users that need to make outgoing calls need to have a Zoom Phone license and a metered or unlimited calling plan.  If desired, you can also get additional phone numbers for users.

If you have a larger company with more than one person, you will probably use Auto Receptionist and one or more call queues. Call queues such as Sales, Support, Shipping, etc. have users that are members of one or more call queues that answer incoming calls.

How to complete the initial setup

Follow these steps after you've activated your Zoom Phone license. Everything configured during the initial setup can be changed later on. You must be the account owner to complete the following steps.

    Notes:

    • As the account owner, you will receive an email stating you've been provisioned for Zoom Phone. Click the link in the email for the initial setup if you prefer.
    • You can schedule a session with a Zoom Phone Enablement Specialist if you need assistance and you have less than 151 Zoom Phone licenses in your account.
    1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal.
    2. In the top-right corner, click your profile picture or initials, then click Admin Center.
    3. In the side menu, click Product configuration, then click Phone system, followed by Begin Setup.
    4. Enter the required information to choose your main company number, which will be the primary number for your Zoom Phone service.

      • (Optional) Select a Country, State, and Area Code from the drop-down menus.
      • Enter an extension number for the account owner (your personal account).
        Notes:
        • All subsequent user extensions will increment from the extension value you enter here.
        • Extension numbers can be up to 6 digits. If you set up multiple sites and enable site codes, extension numbers can be 2 to 5 digits and site codes can be 1 to 3 digits. Contact Zoom Support if you require longer extension numbers that are up to 15 digits.
        • The main company number can be changed after the initial setup.
        • A default auto-receptionist will be assigned to this number with you (the account owner) as the default operator.
    5. Click Next.
    6. Enter a default emergency address, which is used by first responders when you call an emergency number (e.g. 9-1-1).
      Notes:
      • The SIP zone (used to improve call quality) will be automatically selected based on your address. If you set up multiple sites, later on, the SIP Zone will be selected based on each site's address.
      • If you have Zoom Workplace Business Plus, Zoom Workplace Enterprise, and Zoom Workplace Enterprise Plus accounts, follow these instructions.
    7. Click Done.
    8. (Optional) Click Cancel to return to the Welcome to Zoom Phone page.
