I'm the Zoom phon esystem admin. We have only PolyVVx250 phones that, up to this point have worked properly. Over the last week or so I've noticed that the corporate directory is extremely slow. Yesterday morning when I got to work my phone told me I had two voicemails. When I accessed my VM messages there were none.  I rebooted my phone this morning and it's showing the two phantom VM's again. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions to correct these issues?

Hi,I want to be able to share my screen to show a PowerPoint presentation to a Zoom audience, but to be able to shrink the presentation screen on my monitor (i.e., to make it less than full screen) so that I can see my Windows 7 taskbar and can look at and refer to other content on my desktop. However, I don't want this to shrink the presentation screen on the screens of the audience because I don't want them to see the other content on my desktop. Is there a way I can do this, or am I asking for the impossible?Thanks for any help you can offer.

I've done 60 zoom recordings of interviews. Recently now zoom switches between speaker and listener every 10-20 seconds without the listener making a sound. How to fix this? Please help.

Hi,A few weeks ago I got a zoom error code 4101702 - of which is not an error code in the error code page on the Zoom website and my IT department can't seem to fix it (I'm on a business account but no one else is having the issue).Meetings work just fine.    My issue is that incoming calls that used to trigger the pop up that a call is coming, no longer happen (they just pop up in voicemail) and when I try to make an outgoing call - it "fails to connect" Anyone seen this error code before and know how I can fix it so I can take and make calls again? Thanks

I have a usage case that doesn't seem well-handled by the options available for Zoom.I host monthly club meetings where the participants may optionally sign up for credit for having attended a given session. Receiving credit isn't mandatory, and some participants aren't interested in it.In order for me to grant credit, I need to collect the user's ID (typically an email address) used on another site (in this case, it's faasafety.gov, but it doesn't matter). I need to do that for each meeting a user attends, per the rules set by the agency that runs that site.I don't want this question to mandatory, so I don't think I want to use the meeting "registration" function. Hello, I recently updated Zoom and now I can't screen share.  I'm following these directions that I'm finding online...On Macs, you need to go to System Preferences, Privacy and Security, click on the [ Privacy ] tab, choose 'Screen Recording' on the left side and add the application Zoom  here. All screen sharing apps must be added under the Screen Recording privacy section. But in the Privacy settings under Screen Recording, the "Zoom" option is grayed out and I can't click on it to enable Zoom. I've tried reinstalling Zoom, restarting the computer, all the tricks I can think of...any ideas?

Having switched from RingCentral to Zoom Phone, I am finding that I cannot manage users as well as I used to. Is there any way to manage all of the settings of a user's account, including their voicemail recording, how long their extension rings, call routing for their line, etc.? Seems that user management is just being able to switch permissions on and off, but I cant really configure a user's setup unless I use their credentials and log directly into their account.... is that true?

hi, when I go to set up a meeting on my calendar and use the Zoom Plug In, it populates the information in the body of the invite, but it doesn't hyperlink the Zoom Meeting Link. Therefore, everyone on the call needs to copy and paste the URL into their browser to access. How I get it just populate a hyperlink instead -- I have colleagues what don't have this issue...? 

Trying to get to the bottom of outbound caller ID - our main site is in the US, and we have created a site for the UK.  The only options we have for caller ID are the main site number (US number - not much good when you're in the UK), or hiding the caller ID.  Is there a way to use the users assigned phone number as the called ID?  I've tried adding a custom number, but the only option I get is to add an auto attendant from the US site.

Is it possible to have more registrations for a Zoom meeting than what my current license allows as a limit of participants? I.e. while on Pro license have over 100 registrations for the meeting assuming not everyone show up. Thanks for advice!   

I create nearly 100 meetings each month for our team using meeting templates but we have some custom text that we need to add to the registration confirmation emails.  The meeting template function doesn't save the paragraph that we add to our Confirmation Email to Registrants so I have to copy & paste this in every meeting.  I'm wondering if I'm missing something and if there is a way I can save the Confirmation Email to Registrants with our custom text so I don't have to copy & paste 100+ times every month.  Thank you!

What is the best practice for time-of-day call routing? We have one central number with six users spread across multiple time zones with up to 3-hour time differences. The users who start first in the morning will answer the calls, but some users will still be in bed. We still want calls to go to voicemail after hours and on weekends. Is it simply a case of ensuring users have their hours set up correctly and having one call queue with the spread of all possible working hours listed or am I missing something more efficient? There are also multiple places to enter Default Business Hours. Users, Auto receptionists, Company info etc. Is there one place that overrides them all, or do we ensure they're all set up? Any guidance will be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I'm trying to setup a hybrid learning environment for my teachers where we want dual screens in a small room: one at the front, one att the back of the room. Two cameras ar used: the main camera (X50, placed above the Flip) and a Logitech Brio 4K at top of the screen in the back of the room. Whe have choosen this setup so that the teacher should be able to view both the participants in the classroom as well as the participants at home. Therefor we only want gallery view to be shown on the rear screen (and nothing els). The front screen is a Samsung Flip3 interactive screen which will be used for whiteboard, screen sharing etc. Problem: when screen sharing, the system performs as we want but when NOT screen sharing the system only shows gallery view on the front screen (we want it at the rear). How do i solve this? I realy don't want to add an extra computer in the system just to present gallery view on the back screen. Thanks!

eMy wife had a zoom meeting earlier today,, she was a participant, not the administrator. Now when someone calls our home phone they ar prompted to enter a meeting number. How con we stop that?

Do you know where can we check the available calling credits?  I am not able to see any quantity listed on the account – just the next renewal date. I want to make sure we do not run out.

I have Outlook/Exchange integration enabled.  Is it possible to automatically mute incoming Zoom phone calls when my Teams/Outlook status is set to Busy, Meeting, DND, Focusing, and other?

Some of our clients are using SDK 4.6.21666.0428 which we admit is old, but still worked until the Zoom Backend Maintenance performed Aug 13, 2022 - 03:00 PDT. Now, when they attempt to join a meeting they get the error MEETING_FAIL_CLIENT_INCOMPATIBLE. We have verified that the setting "Account Settings → Admin Options → Require users to update the client" is set to off but we still get the error. We plan to update the client but that will take a while so is there anything we can do in the meantime?

I schedule meetings for my boss (I have been assigned scheduling privileges).  However, he cannot start the meeting, even though it clearly lists him as the host.  I cannot add him as an alternate host, since I am scheduling it for him.  I schedule several meetings a day for him and yet I am not always available to start the meeting for him.  I thought that by scheduling on his behalf, I would avoid this issue but it hasn't.

Hi - I will try to explain this the best I can!  I have an account and I also manage my boss' account.  I set up a meeting with her Zoom account in her Outlook (desktop).  When she goes to start the meeting, she receives the dialog box "Waiting for the host to start meeting" (she is the host) and it requires her to log in.  I know I have done meetings in the past where you just click and you are in.  And she was logged in to Zoom.  Help?  Please?

I have a Zoom One Pro Licence and use Zoom for tutoring during the week. My wife (also a tutor) has a separate account for the same reason. Can I just add her as another user on my account (instead of paying for 2 separate accounts)? We will be logging in and using Zoom at the same time during weekdays.   Thanks, Frank

We are in the process of switching from Teams Voice to Zoom Phones and during the trial period, I imported 9 contacts to test the importing process.  We will be linking our Office365 contacts when we go live but now I can't seem to get rid of these 9 contacts.  I am also an admin for the Zoom account but I cannot find if there is an admin permission that I need to check in order to remove these contacts.  Any help page I find on Zoom points me to the Contact Management section in my web portal but I don't even have that option, I can only see Personal Contacts.  Any help would be appreciated!
