I came across this article and just had a few questions about the recording disclaimers: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0068228 - Does "Show a disclaimer to participants when a recording starts" mean the pop up that asks a user to accept that the call is being recorded?- Is it possible to remove this pop up for certain users and if so does that mean recording can start and they don't have to interact with the client at all?

I am doing some testing to see how often zoom sends out email alerts on an offline room.Seems like it will only send out one alert after about 7-8 mins. Does zoom send out repeated alerts for an offline room until it becomes online again? And if so, how often do the email alerts get sent out? From the initial testing, I only received one alert so far. I need the email alerts to be sent on some sort of regular interval. 

I would like all my zoom rooms to be able to automatically control the cameras in other zoom rooms within my "Building" or at least my company. If I enable "Automatically accept far end camera control" it seems like any person joining a meeting could mess with the cameras.

I only have a basic Zoom account currently but am looking to hold a on-off bigger event. Does anyone know if it's possible to pay for the Zoom webinars option as an add-on for just one month?

How can I hide the speaker video during screen sharing in a webinar?

hi, I share a zoom account in an organisation where there are several admins.There are a few people I have frequent zoom meetings with. Is it possible, rather than scheduling separate meetings with them with a new link each time, to set up one link per person and use the same link every meeting with that person?I can't set it as a recurring meeting cos it's not regular.I also need it to show on the scheduled meetings so the other admins don't double book.does that make sense?thanks

HI there, I am unalble to access any courses on the Zoom Learning Center.  I keep getting a toast message saying server error. I have tried both chrome and edge. Do I need to be present in the meetings in order to enable AI Companion? We have a paid group account and some of the users will be the host.

I have many recurring meetings showing up on my Upcoming Meetings dashboard but some of these meetings ended last year.   Should I be deleting the Recurring Meeting with the "delete" button  aka cleaning up the list? Or does Zoom have the functionality to automatically remove these from my dashboard once the timeframe for the recurrence has ended?

Is there any option to 'subscribe' to Release Notes? I'd like to get an email when they come out instead of trying to remember to continually checking the website.  

I have a user on outlook. He has many email accounts. He is a paid licensed zoom user. He chooses to schedule a meeting and it says he is a basic user.  How do I fix this? David

I want to join meetings using my computer screen for video and my iPhone for audio. This allows me to walk away from the computer during the meeting and keep listening/talking, because my phone is in my pocket. I can do this, though not very well, for meetings that I don't host: I join the meeting by iPhone with audio and no video, and I join the meeting by computer with video and no audio. Other than the confusion of being on the meeting twice, I can do this. However, when I host a meeting, this is not an option. I can switch the meeting between devices, but as long as I am logged into my account on both devices, I can't join the same meeting at the same time. The only solution I see is to create a free account, and log one device into that account, and host the meeting from the other account. This would be, clearly, a PITA. Is there a better solution?

I reactivated my 'pro' account after subscription ran out and I was downgraded to the free account. However, I still have the free account features, meaning I get knocked off zoom after 40 minutes. When I try to call zoom technical support, I get the message that I can't speak to a real person because I have a free account. The automated chat is useless since it is defaulted to a menu that has not options for my problem. Any suggestions?

HiI would like to use zoom to teach bracrafts to raise money for breast cancer charities. Therefore I don't want to sign up and pay but I will need longer meetings than 45 minutes.  So is it ok to schedule more than one meeting so that they run consecutively with a 5 minute break in between? 

I saw some related, but not quite identical, issues with this from other users, so I'm adding a new post. We use a recurring meeting in our organization to allow public access and keep the Zoom link consistent. Administratively we have Wait Room forcibly enabled for all meetings as a locked setting. Last night, I was asked at the last minute to disable the waitroom and allow members of the public to join as needed since we were short staffed and someone would not be monitoring the waiting room the whole time. I am a full admin in Zoom and knew I needed to unlock, then disable the waiting room. I did this after stopping the meeting (did a dry run before the actual meeting started). Even after restarting the meeting, the ability of the host to disable the waiting room was still grayed out and the feature was still forcibly enabled. What would I need to do to:1) turn off one of those administratively locked settings during a meeting (if that is possible)2) turn off administratively l

We have several rooms at our org, however one does not get the option to join a Zoom meeting from the controller.  It lists the meeting just fine, and can create its own, but there is no join option when it has been sent an invite.  If I launch the meeting from my PC, I can invite the room again and it will work.  If I launch an instant meeting from the controller, it will work. I'm stumped, any thoughts?

 I trimmed a recording by mistake. I am not able to restore to the full recording, but I can see the time of the full recording in the video icon. I do not see any option to restore to the original recording under the trimmed video. The original recording is over 2 hours but now I have just 20 or so minutes.Can anyone suggest how to recover the original file? Thanks!

I have followed all procedures to stream to my private FB groups but they will not show up in the drop down box. Every other group that I am a part of will, but not my own groups. So zoom is connected to my personal fb account - which is connected to my biz page and the groups sit within that biz page. 

I have three Zoom Events 1000 Unlimited Licenses . Why am I  not able to move them to sub accounts?

Yesterday, I encountered a problem similar to the one reported by FPCOfficeMgr.Person A and Person B were both registered users for a Zoom meeting. The host of the meeting sent a link with the passcode embedded. But Person B didn’t receive the email, so he asked Person A to forward the email with the link. However, on the day of the meeting, Person B’s computer was broken so he logged on to his email account using Person C’s computer. But when Person B clicked on the link via Person C’s computer, he was asked for a passcode even though the passcode was embedded in the link. The Zoom meeting had already started, so Person A was able to ask the host for the passcode, but none of us could figure out why that happened. Can you provide an explanation? Thanks.  

I have a multi-session Zoom event for one day. Most of the sessions are webinars, except for two meetings.  By default, all the webinars have practice sessions. However, the two meetings do not have practice sessions. I cannot find a place to turn that on. Is that possible?  In the attached screen shot, you can see "start practice" next to the webinars and "start" next to the two meetings.
