Hey there. So, I am fairly Zoom-savvy and just need a simple question answered (which, strangely, seems to be very challenging for Zoom). Suddenly, and without warning, the preview box stopped coming up before starting my meetings. I like to be able to see what my hair is doing before the room opens. And it was working fine until a couple of days ago. I have gone into all of the settings. The box is checked for that feature to work. I have signed out, re-started, un-clicked and re-clicked, and I have even asked my laptop (sweetly) to cooperate with me. No luck. So, forum, can anyone help with this? (understanding that I may never see the response because they make everything so much more complicated than it needs to be. Please try anyway. Hi there,  I want to set up an interpreter for an upcoming meeting to offer the meeting in Cree. None of the Indigenous languages of North America are listed on the target language drop down menu. Nor is there a listing for "other" - which you could then label yourself. How do I set up an interpreter for a language that's not listed?

Hello, I edited my webinar settings to "enable a practice session." I had already sent out the registration link and people have registered. Will editing the webinar settings to include a practice session affect the registration link or those who have already registered? I.e. do I need to send out another registration link for those to re-register for?  Thanks for your help! 

In an organization with multiple team members managing a webinar, is it OK for everyone to join using the main account used to host the webinar? Or would that create issues? I think it's easier than making everyone panelists and then promoting them to co-hosts.

Hello, I've been effectively utilizing Zoom for meetings.To conduct meetings more efficiently, I need a way to monitor in real time who speaks and for how long during the meeting.Given that Zoom has the functionality to focus on the speaker, it seems plausible that there could also be a feature to track speaking time. Is there already such a feature available, or is there any plan to develop it in the future?I want to enable meeting participants to see how many minutes they and others have used for speaking, allowing them to adjust their own speaking time accordingly.

Hello, when I schedule a recurring meeting, the option "no specific time" is no longer displayed. I can only select "daily, weekly, monthly". A few days ago I still had a meeting scheduled and could select "no specific time". Has Zoom removed this feature?

Hi, I attended a zoom meeting. Started recording with the host's permission. Then i didnt get a chance to hit stop recording, the meeting just ended. When i checked the meeting folder, (Documents/Zoom/<meeting_name>/) i see "double_click_to_convert01.zoom" but double_click_to_convert02.zoom is missing. When zoom tried to convert this file, it said double_click_to_convert02.zoom is missing. Any idea where it might be? I am using zoom Version: 5.17.10 (30974)MAC M3 ProMac OS: Sonoma 14.3.1 (23D60)

I notice that when I share my screen the control bar is movable but when I am joined to a meeting the control bar is static at the bottom. Sometimes when I am using Zoom on an external monitor my laptop screen is blocking the view of the control bar when it's at the bottom so it would be convenient for me to have it at the top.

As Host, I frequently screen-share PowerPoint slides and wish to remove completely the thumbnail in the top right.  There are four settings below the thumbnail with the best one being the ‘underscore’ which removes the video of the spotlighted video.  However it replaces it with a bar with the word: “Talking …” - which I don’t want either.  How can I remove this intrusion to leave nothing at all (for the Host’s  screen only)?  Thank you in anticipation of your help.

I have a user that has two separate direct dial numbers.   Is it possible to have different ringtones depending on what number the outside caller uses?   

I use the whiteboard for online teaching. The countdown timer is a great addition and I use it all the time. But I really miss being able to add dice and die rolling to the mix. A good old 6-sided die would be great. Even better if you can combine using several at once. Am I the only one? 

Is there any way I can automatically join zoom meeting with video enabled in waiting room on Android?

My business runs on the ability for two or more participants to write on the white board at the same time. Since the update, all I get is a dysfunctional white board that I can't share with anyone. The the Bot is very dumb and can't help with any questions. In the not so distant past, I could use the share screen and click on the board, but now.. I get a one way board that won't erase or allow for any writing. I run the business exclusively on iPads and a MacBook Pro. They have worked well in the past. How do I make tis work?

I see there is new AI language in the terms & agreements. How does that impact the HIPPA compliance considerations? How does the AI ignore the PHI? I haven't been able to get int touch with actual support, but would need a legal answer on this from Zoom.

Hello, I have a Zoom Pro account and I need to do a recorded Zoom session in which I moderate a discussion between two people. How can I make sure that the recording shows all three of us in HD (i.e. 720p)? I found a page on the Zoom support menu that said that for 3 or more participants, I need ‘Group HD enabled’. How exactly do I enable Group HD? What is a group? Do I need to create one and put the two participants in it?There will be some times when I want just the speaker full screen, some times with the two participants and some times gallery view with all three of us. 

Hey community, I am a web developer and have a customer using Zoom for Webinars (so pays for the service). I am developing an private marketplace app for that customer using the Webinar API. The problem I have is the license. I need to use the customer account to create the app because I don't have a payed Zoom Webinar license account for myself. Here is my question now: Is there a way to a sort of create a sub account / additional administrator account to the main account of my customer so that I can work independently from them? Their account is secured by a secure code via email and I don't want to ask day by day. Thank you.

I need help on how to send personalized Zoom webinar links to registrants upon registration instead of sending them a generic zoom link (registration zoom link) Sample uniques link has something like this: &sessionId=2ac8e203-a4d7-4fb2-92c6-b3e983b3dccb&trigger_link=9OIbXVqNt2klBKOYuVUz#successAnd it's already embedded in the email automatically.  Can help me figure this one out? We are using Zoom's closed captioning to transcribe our meetings and the transcript is saved to our local drive. Is there any available resource which provides an overview of how the live transcription service works and the security. We are concerned on data security.

we use vmix as camera input for zoom. unfortunately, zoom then optimizes much too aggressively, so that the output quality for the webinar participants is poor. is there anything you can do to make the quality better. thank you.

Hi, can people still hear you if you are unmuted but someone else is still talking? I didn't realize I was unmuted in a meeting I had with many people, until I checked the chat and saw the mic not crossed out. Does this mean people can still hear you? I think I was connected 'using the computer audio'

Hi there,For an external livestream with around 1500 viewers, I would like to open a webinar for the questions and some contributions.There will probably be a maximum of 50 participants in this webinar. However, I would like to send the registration mail with a personal invitation link to all the 1500 people (via CSV import). My plan allows 500 participants.Is this possible?

I recorded a meeting and now when I go to view the meeting it says I can only view or download from the computer it was recorded on. I only have one computer so I am not sure why I am getting this error message. It then prompts me to log in to my account, however, I am already logged in. 

Under Windows it is easy to hide the (annoying) control bar that appears with screen sharing.  In the Linux version (V. 5.7.6, running under MX Linux ) the drop-down menu for that bar does not include the option to hide the (annoying) control bar. I found that I can put it at the bottom, which helps, but it still covers part of my slides.  The keyboard shortcut does meant for hiding the (annoying) control bar does not work.    Any idea how I could get rid of the (annoying) control bar?
