It is absolutely frustrating every time I close a zoom meeting the application remains open and minimizes itself to the notifications area. Who thought this was a good idea? I would like to close the application and be done with it. This becomes a multi-step process to close out of zoom after every meeting that is a waste of my time. It's even more infuriating that there is no way to turn this option off. I've searched the forum for similar posts and the zoom team marked it as solved. The issue is NOT solved hence why I am resurfacing this issue. It's a complete disregard to the end user and such a waste of resources.  Please develop a real solution for this problem before closing out this topic.

Hello, does anyone know how I can recover a pdf file that was sent to me through the chat feature? I clicked on it during the meeting and it sent to my download file, but once the meeting was over, it was no longer there. I have searched every single file on my computer and nada. It is essential for me to recover this file to finish my job. pleeeeease tell me it can be recovered???

Hello - I have "Bose SoundLink Flex (Gen 2) Bluetooth speaker. It is producing very low sound during Zoom meetings/webinar (on mobile app) but same spear is working very fine while working fine with YouTube or other audio/video player. Considering that the issue likely lies with my Zoom app, not the speaker; Please let me know how this issue can be resolved?

I am having difficulty with the zoom invites I’ve Been receiving,  as they have no meeting ID or tab to tap onto the call- there is one HTTPS tab which only takes me to google maps - but when I look at the message there’s no option to tab onto a link that connects me to the call ? Is there anyone out there that can help me understand why this is? 

We are testing SMS to confirm some appointments with homeowners. Is there a way that we can change the SMS/Caller ID to show our 800 # (we are able to do this with phone calls). Currently when we send a text message the receiver will get a "Potential Spam" ID or the personal phone number of the employee on their phone. We do not wish to do this because our teams are on queue and no one should be calling their personal ext or phone number for work.  Nor do we want our customers to have the Caller ID say Potential Spam. Please advise. Thank you. 

Hello: I have the setting "Receive calls while on a call" enabled for my sequential call queue. When the first agent, however, is on a call either from the queue or their personal line, if another call comes in on the queue, it skips to the next available agent in the sequential queue list.   I found the below in the documentation from Call Handling:Note: You will not receive call notifications from call queues if you're currently on a call or have disabled calls from call queues. I want Agent 1 to be able to receive notification of another call combining on the call queue regardless if Agent 1 is on another call or not. Is this possible?

I work for a large auto group and we've submitted a feature request asking for the ability to opt-out of queue calls ringing on mobile, but not desktop and desk phone. A lot of our staff members have requested that ONLY direct dial calls ring to their cell, but not queue calls.  Anyone else interested in this enough to put in a feature request on it to help push it along? 

Hi everybody,We have instructors who use our main Zoom instance for teaching classes.  However, some of those same users need to use Zoom in HIPAA compliant environments with additional setting restrictions.  We can't use the Group feature because we'd need to move the instructor into, and out of, the group, depending on whether they're teaching or needing a HIPAA compliant environment.Would creating a subaccount be the way to go?  Any pitfalls we should be aware of?  Ultimately, we want the user to log in with one set of credentials and choose whether they want to use the main instance/site or the HIPAA instance/site.Any recommendations would be appreciated.  Thank you!!

We are currently configuring Zoom Workforce Management (WFM) to manage phone shift schedules. Our employees use Outlook to block off times when they are unavailable—such as PTO, client meetings, or personal appointments.We’re looking for a way to integrate Outlook with Zoom so that WFM can automatically schedule phone shifts around each employee’s existing availability in Outlook. Ideally, Zoom would read their calendar availability, assign shifts accordingly, and then push those scheduled shifts back into Outlook.Has anyone successfully implemented this type of integration? We’re hoping to avoid requiring employees to enter availability in multiple systems and would prefer to keep Outlook as the central tool for managing personal and meeting schedules.Any insights or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

Hello, We have agent sub status codes setup and I see that these codes are reported as Not Ready and impact our occupancy %. I am wondering if there is a way to customize the report to include/exclude certain sub status codes. Thank you,

It would be really great to have the option to set (or at least see!) my display name every time I join a meeting, at the same time that we get a prompt to check our camera and microphone settings before actually entering. Sometimes I use Zoom for work in different settings where I would like my name to display differently. I would love to be able to set the display name every time I am about to join a meeting, without having to go into my profile on the Zoom website. Is there a way to do this in the existing UI? Or would this be a new feature?

Can you use Zoom Phone to send out a SMS to remind attendees of future Zoom meeting with the link attached?

I can't seem to flag this to Zoom but here's what's happening. Please help or report if you can! AI Notetakers seem to be able to AUTOMATICALLY BYPASS my waiting room in Zoom calls hosted in my Zoom room. This has happened with Otter and other platforms!!!! This is a HUGE BUG.Today, I had started a cloud recording, but then the AI Notetaker of a participant shows up and overtakes the ongoing recording without my permission or consent. This has happened multiple times.- As a result, I do NOT have the recording of my session today, even though this is my account!!!!- I even asked my assistant during the call to confirm it was recording and she said it still appeared as the recording was happening, but when the call ended, she saw that it did not record for us - it must have only gone to the person with the AI Notetaker (who is just a student of the course!) &nbs

Where can I turn off tasks dot notification, or delete it from my Zoom windows app? It and it keeps popping up with dot notifications when I haven't been using it. 

In the past year or so, Zoom keeps making changes that make the entire experience terrible and more laborious. Commonly used features are being put behind multiple steps. At least give us the options to revert to how it was or to edit things? 1 - No "End Meeting" button anymore from Meeting Controls whilst screen sharing, you have to click on "Show Meeting" first (or end the screen share) in order to see the option  2 - Screen sharing options now on 3rd "Advanced" tab 3 - Screen sharing via AirPlay no longer works. The "Zoom-device-name" item doesn't show up. I have "AirPlay Receiver" switched off as suggested by Zoom Support. Hi I am curious about the chat notification sound in Zoom meetings. Despite having all notification settings enabled and my profile set as "available" instead of "busy", the issue persists. Why has Zoom not been able to resolve this issue for such an extended period? I have been experiencing this for long.   We have an important meetings that take place frequently with partners located in different countries and meeting time duration is for 3-4 hours. the communication process is via chat,  Not receiving chat notifications forces us to constantly stare at the screen, causing strain on the eyes and hindering our ability to focus on other tasks simultaneously. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried everything suggested in Support and online but haven't been able to get an answer.  Yes, uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom, camera is working elsewhere and whatever else was suggested.  Help is appreciated.  Thank you

It seems that there has been a problem with the program's voice looping suppression system recently. We use Zoom meetings every day. The looping prevention in our system itself is working properly. This phenomenon appeared for the first time today. The other party used the laptop's built-in speakers and built-in microphone, not headphones or earphones. Our voices came through the other party's microphone, making it impossible to have a proper meeting.

I have turned off AI Companion. I find it annoying and some participants find it intrusive.However, if one of the participants has AI Companion running during a meeting I have initiated, do I still get a prompt that AI Companion is recording the session?Thanks! 

My overlays app does not work properly. It does not let me save templates, and above the save template button, it is constantly loading. Please advise, as I have done everything I know how to do

The tasks icon keeps showing a red dot like I've got something to do there. I click tasks and nothing is there. The dot goes away for a bit but comes back every time I'm in the app. It's really annoying to pretend like there's a notification when there isn't. There also does not seem to be a way to turn this annoyance off. Please fix it This is version 6.6.5.34303 on Android 14, Pixel 5.

Is it possible to get a meeting summary when a Zoom meeting is hosted by someone else?

I've started using docs but want option to back them up offline for in the case of an account compromise or similar disaster scenario. Is there a method or any plans to add a method to do this?  If there was an API for docs I could probably do it myself.

I recorded several meetings on my computer. Now I understand that there is a transcription option for meetings that are recorded on the cloud. Is there any way to upload those meetings on to the cloud in retrospect? I need those meetings transcribed...

Hi! I'd like to know if it's possible to disallow programmed participants to join meetings? I've been experiencing frequent bot attack on my meetings. I think allowing participants to join only through zoom app would be preferable it this case.
