I'm hoping someone can advise me on how to troubleshoot an audio issue.  I have an issue where every so often my Zoom audio will cut out for 1-3 seconds although the video continues. While not frequent, it means I can miss key pieces of information. (a) This is not a standard connectivity issue -- the video continues without lagging or interruption(b) This is not a standard speaker/audio source issue -- it lasts only a few seconds and it does not occur on other programs, only on Zoom(c) This is not an issue with the speaker's audio -- it occurs across a range of meetings I'm in and I'm the only one who experiences the loss What can I do to troubleshoot?

If I start a meeting as the host the only way so far to get invited people into the meeting is through a link I would need to send to them.  Why can’t the invited person just use the zoom app, click join meeting, than enter meeting ID, than enter passcode for meeting and hit enter and wait for host to let them in to join a meeting.

My virtual background app was working on my pc, my ipad and my iphone. I don’t know what happened but it no longer shows the many virtual backgrounds that was available on the app. I’ve gone through troubleshooting with the virtual agent and it was unable to solve my problem. The option for virtual backgrounds is enabled and I’ve already disabled, refreshed, and re-enabled it but it didn’t work. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the zoom app on my desktop. I’m signed out of all my devices and only have one signin on my pc. I’ve checked the C:\Users\ABC\AppData\Local\Zoom\data and there is no virtual background to delete. I’ve tried clearing zoom cache and none of these have worked. I am on a free account and can’t submit a ticket. Please help! I am out of options.  

When trying to send a change/update to a Zoom meeting via Outlook, I get this message and I’m prevented from sending the update.  I already have Zoom installed.  Why is this happening?

Before anyone replies, please note that I personally understand how to navigate this issue and am not asking how to do it - I am merely recommending software improvement I work in IT classroom/conference/event support at a university, and a big part of my job is helping people set up hybrid meetings in Zoom.  I very frequently get asked for help screen sharing powerpoints, as the majority of users I help find the interaction to be very confusing.  And indeed, I believe it is unnecessarily cumbersome in 2 major ways -1. It is not intuitive to most people that they must put the powerpoint in full screen before sharing if they are using presenter mode while the computer is set to duplicate displays - and even if they aren't, people are often inclined to share the window rather than the screen, since they see the option to select powerpoint and think "oh, that's what I want to share."  The confusion increases when people switch between powerpoint presentations.2. In the meeting I want to get the transcripts without recording the meeting. I tried by turning on the caption but at no point did I get the choice/button for transcript. Please help. Thanks!

Tenable is flagging the latest version of Zoom Workplace (7.1.0.41345) as vulnerable to CVE-2026-6276 due to the version of libcurl installed 8.17.0). I’ve tried asking the chatbot and the support line to provide an official response that there is no patch available with no luck. Can anyone from Zoom make a definitive statement I can provide to an auditor that there is no fix available for this claimed vulnerability, or confirm the vulnerability does not apply?

I have automatic cloud recordings on, and I definitely heard the meeting say “This meeting is being recorded” automated line as well. This meeting began recording at 11:58am pst, and ended approximately at 1:02pm pst. I have not been able to locate the cloud recording, nor does it appear as “processing” in the zoom web portal under cloud recordings. Are any engineers able to diagnose/investigate to make sure the recording is processing, just taking time? 

I have an issue with a dual monitor setup, where when I share the entire desktop the zoom window jumps and takes over the other monitor, going on top of all the media controls we use, even with the zoom setting to share zoom windows selected.Here is a rough breakdown of the setup we're using to give a better context:Monitor 1, which is for the operator/ producer:Zoom Meeting Window to view all participantsVLC Playlist ControlsMonitor 2, which is at the front of the room has:Zoom, for showing remote participants as and when neededVLC Media WindowAs the screen share isn't needed the whole time, it is only needed when sharing media through VLC we can't leave the screen share running constantly.Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Initially, when I attempted to open the Workplace app on my Windows PC, I found that I was signed out of my Zoom account.  Repeated attempts to sign back in only yielded the message: 'Please try again later.'  Error Code: -1.  The Zoom Workplace app on my PC has been installed and functioning properly since 2020.  This is the first time it has ever given me any issues.I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Zoom app multiple times.  I have cleared my Windows Explorer cache multiple times as wellI have even gone so far as to reinstall Windows (Windows 11 Pro, version 24H2, OS build 26100.4351).  Using a browser, I can sign into my Zoom account on both my Windows PC and my Mac.  Additionally,  on my Mac, I can also sign in to the Zoom Workplace app.   An article online suggested linking my Windows 365 with Zoom.  I have tried this, but my 365 account is a Personal account, and the login page the Zoom link takes me to is for

Hi. I’m the account owner and host, and I already enabled all the AI Companion and transcript settings in the Zoom web portal. But inside meetings I still can’t enable transcription or My Notes. It keeps saying that the feature “has been disabled by the host” even though I am the host.I create meetings using my PMI. Previously, note transcription would start automatically as soon as I joined the meeting. I could see and edit the live notes/transcript while me and the other participant were talking.Now, nothing starts automatically when I enter the meeting. I only see a greyed out box that I can’t click.And when I press “Open My Notes” Zoom says: “Host has disabled note transcription for this meeting.”I haven’t changed any settings on my side, and all AI Companion / transcript settings appear to be enabled in the Zoom web portal.Do you know what could be causing this?

I recorded a 3 hour zoom interview for my work, no error messages popped up while i was recording, i could see the person i was interviewing and they could see me. All seemed fine, the internet lagged a bit but thats happened before, and no problems. I convert the video to quicktime, and i just have a black screen, I have all the audio, but no video until the last 8 minutes at the end, where it suddenly comes back. This has never happened before to me, camera light was on so it must have been recording right? How the hell do i get the video, this was a once in a lifetime interview, not going to get the same emotions and dialogue again. Zoom has messed with my job - please tell me there is a way to get this video back. I'm on a Macbook pro, i have done loads of zooms in the past with no problems - what the hell happened????!!! I am very stressed, any help would be appreciated. opened zoom for a meeting on Friday but the meeting would only appear as a miniwindow in the zoom spot on the task bar.  I had to keep my finger on it to keep it open.  I could hear the meeting and everyone could see me as usual.  Usually clicking such a window opens it up but no.   I downloaded zoom workplace several times to no avail and even closed down the whole computer and started over.  No.  I tested it out several times later that day with friends setting up meetings.  Still the same.  Any ideas anyone?  I have another meeting on Monday evening and am quite worried.  Thanks

Hello,I have installed the Zoom Client (version 7.0.5) via DEB (I also tried the older SNAP version). The client won't let me log in. I use SSO to log in. I am redirected to the Zoom web page where I can log in successfully and even start a meeting. However, the app does not recognise the information about my login. There is no error message - starting via terminal won’t give any hints either.Any suggestions?

Hello,Our CEO recently upgraded our Zoom account to include Webinars so that he can host training sessions where participants are not visible to one another and do not appear on screen.However, when he launches a Zoom Webinar and attempts to share his screen, he is unable to share computer audio/sound. I am not finding an option to enable polls and quizzes in my meeting's basic settings. Do you have any idea how to enable this?

The Avatar tab is completely missing from both my Zoom app (Background & Effects) and my web account settings. Another account on the same free plan has the Avatar feature available.Please help restore this feature to my account. 

I can not find the options for avatars in my zoom. It does not exist. Whenever I click on video filters I only have the background pictures I have added from my computer. No other options are displayed. 

Hi,I have a problem with the video quality of the Zoom meeting I have a pro version of Zoom. In the setting, I have enabled Group HD video and still, I´m receiving/sending only 320 x 180/640 x 360 resolution.  Video quality is like from 15 years ago, not even HD. Am I doing something wrong or is this quality normal?Internet is not the problem my internet is download speed is  Mbps 100, upload speed is Mbps 78. Laptops are connected on the same network and still have the same quality. 

howdy all - Yup, I search the boards here alot, and the ol internet, and ChatGPT, Copilot, etc. I manage an enterprise AVD Gov environment. We have MacBook users (Lastest MacOS). We are unable to have successfully ZoomVDI plugins pair when connecting to any type of MS VDI service.As everyone is probably aware. Media redirection is a must have for VDI users.I even gone as far as building my own personal AVD commercial environment AND subscribed to a person W365 desktop for testing/troubleshooting. using my own personal Macbook as well. I have completely removed any work related variables.Using the latest Windows App version, Zoom VDI 7.0.10followed everything to the tee - Using the Zoom VDI client with AVD/Windows 365 on macOSVDI releases and downloadsreset TCC on the macbook many times - evern went as far as manually editing TCC to forcing access the camera/mic.I’m out of options. Thoughts?

Hello. We requested to enable 720p recording option, but it is nowhere to be seen in the settings. I’ve looked at multiple help threads which describe various locations where it should be or has been, but there is not any option. Searching for 720 or HD doesn’t yield anything either. We requested a second time and they claim its already been activated. How can it be if we have no HD record toggle option available to us like has been described? Thanks for your assistance.

Trying do a meeting but unable to get the meeting code

Hello,We are implementing a Video Banking / video call flow and would like to support simultaneous use of both the front and rear cameras during a live video session (dual camera / multi-camera streaming from a mobile device).Could you please advise: Does Zoom support simultaneous front and back camera usage during an active video call? If yes, which Zoom SDK should be used for this use case (Video SDK, Meeting SDK, or another option)? Are there any platform limitations for iOS and Android?
