when I click on my zoom photo, click settings...no audio tab showing and no where do I see if I have latest version tab

Hi there, I've got this kind of issue. When I switch between gallery, speaker and standard modes in a video meeting, two of them randomly freeze and become unresponsive. I can still use the third one but I can't even predict which. Tried unchecking all the hardware acceleration modes boxes, tried reinstalling, installing 32 bit instead of 64, doesn't work. I'm using a PC, video card is NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER VENTUS, Win 10 Pro 64, Zoom version is 5.15.6 (19959).

How can I remove the speaker thumbnail when recording, so that only the shared screen is recorded, and no thumbnail/speaker is shown? In Settings > Recording, I have disabled "Record active speaker with shared screen", "Record gallery view with shared screen" and "Record active speaker, gallery view and shared screen separately". I have also disabled "Display participants' names in the recording" and "Record thumbnails when sharing". Finally, in the meeting itself, under Settings > Recording, I have disabled "Display participants' names in the recording".  Despite all this, I'm still getting a small black box for the active speaker in the top right which shows up in the recording, when I only want to see the slide presentation. Previously, I was able to get rid of this box by changing just the meeting setting to remove "Display participants' names

For some strange reason, I do not have the ability to add a reaction emoji to Zoom chat messages. They are enabled on my Zoom instance and also on another host's Zoom where this happens. Everyone else in the group can add emojis, but whether I hover, long click, right-click, double click, etc. on a message, I never get the reaction bubble that lets me add an emoji. Before anyone suggests this, I have already gone into my meeting settings to ensure that reactions are enabled. I'm on a MacBook Pro and I have a paid Zoom account. Any help would be appreciated - thank you!

I am hosting an event where all participants are going to watch a film together and then discuss in breakout rooms.I know I can share my screen with the video and use the settings to "optimise for video clip" and "sound" but is that all I can do? I just want to make sure it is a really smooth viewing process for everybody. It's 1 hour long, so not exactly a video clip!Thanks!

I have just completed a lot of courses in the Zoom learning center and haven't earned a single point or badge. Are badges and points aka gamification not enabled for taking courses? Is there another way to earn points and badges?  Thanks Dave

Hello Zoom Support Team,I am writing to appeal the restriction placed on my PC that is preventing me from joining or hosting meetings. Whenever I try to join a meeting, I receive error code 1 1 3 2, which blocks all access.I believe this restriction may have been applied by mistake. I use Zoom strictly for legitimate purposes such as online classes, school-related meetings, and educational discussions. I do not engage in any activities that violate Zoom’s Terms of Service, and I have never intentionally misused the platform.This issue is only occurring on my PC. I am able to access Zoom from other devices, which makes me believe that my computer or IP address may have been incorrectly flagged by the system. I kindly request a review of my account and device to verify this.Zoom is extremely important for my education, and being unable to join meetings is affecting my ability to attend classes and communicate with teachers and classmates. Is there any workaround / solution for this problem:I just upgraded to the latest Zoom version 6.7 on Linux and the icons and fonts in the new navigation menu are far too small (for me).The Accessibility settings have several scaling options but this excludes the navigation itself.I am on a high DPI monitor and all other programs scale properly but Zoom seems to ignore the scaling configuration.My system: Ubuntustudio 24.04

I would like to know if it's possible to find out who turned on transcript function during the meeting. I saw that the message 'This meeting is being transcribed' popped up in my meeting but none of the participants are admitting that they turned it on.

We are an organization that as a whole records 90% of it's meetings, & can't turn off the recording lock. However, 10% of meetings (That are re-occurring meetings) would like to not have to turn of the recording every meeting. Is it possible to still have accounts recording locked, but "Opt out" certain recurring meetings? 

Hello,unfortunately, I have another question:I work with two screens. The program that needs to be recorded runs on the main screen, while I see the Zoom tools and the participant list/videos on the second monitor. However, when I record the session, the participant images are displayed in the recording and partially cover important information from the program being shown. How can I prevent this permanently?I start Zoom on a MacBook Pro, Tahoe from the Zoom website.Thank you very much for your help.helpa

Hi!  I've been having some issues with zoom when I try to log in via SSO and join a meeting  - "The Code Execution cannot proceed because UIBase.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem" I get the same error for CMMlib.dll, Duilib.dll, and MSAALib.dll. I have tried using Clean zoom to uninstall and reinstall zoom, used the MSI installer, and also can see all of these files in the zoom folder, so they definitely exist. Any advice much appreciated!  

Hi, I have started to use the mustache virtual filter out of curiosity. It looks natural. People can tell if it's real or not. So I went on a team daily with the mustache. All of a sudden, I have way more authority, I am confident, I am in my A game. The ascent was meteoric. I get respect, and tasks I assign in the morning are done before EOD. Suddenly, projects meet the schedule. I became a celebrity. I am well-known and recognized downtown. I had to act to support this new lifestyle, so I changed the color from the default dark brown to a black mustache. The next thing you know, I am taking all critical decision-making meetings with this black mustache. I am everywhere. Girls, booze, my own driver. I am the king of the hill. But lately, something started to break. I feel like this mustache is not thick enough to sustain my new lifestyle. I need a thicker mustache to fuel my success. That is why I am making this request. Please create a feature to make the mustache thicker. I

I get automatically logged out of zoom Workplace, when I login on a different computer (Macbook) with the same account. This is very annoying and I don't see a reason why. I'm also logged in on my iPhone and iPad simultaneously. Anybody knows a way out?

I added a picture for my background, and now it is stuck on that! when I try to remove it and select NONE, still the same picture shows up and I have tried everything to remove it and it will not go away when I log in to zoom on my mac!!

I am using a MacBook Air laptop for zoom meetings. At some point in the last month I chose a blue background for video, that now I cannot get rid of... I can cover it with another background, but nowhere in the video settings for zoom can I eliminate this blue background.\The problem is, since I put it up, now my face and body or parts of me disappear and reappear when in a zoom meeting. Can anyone help me to eliminate this issue? Like I said, there is nothing in the normal video settings that works. Thank you!

Since last week, whenever I join a meeting, after a delay, I get the error message "Virtual background is still loading".  This appears to be permanent.  It is still possible to turn on the video, also after a delay, but I can not blur my background as I would wish. I have a MacBook Pro (i7-6820HQ @2.70GHz) running MacOS Monterey 12.7.6 with plenty of free memory. Does anyone have any idea of how to cure this?

I've tried to uninstall zoom, clean registry, boot PC, and use MSI to insure clean 64 bit install.  This places the install in Program Files.  Confirm that 64 bit is running via task manager.  Within a day, the 64 bit install is gone, Zoom directory in program files is gone, but Zoom now running 32 bit client with ProgramFiles(x86) Zoom directory created.  This is ....  Also, the "check for updates" disappears from the Zoom desktop.  It is there when first installed.  Running version 5.11.11.  Surely I'm not the only person in the world with this problem?

Hi every one, I am preparing presentations for zoom meetings and wanted to ask if there's a way to view speaker notes while screen sharing slides. I know speaker notes are easy to use in tools like power point or google slides , but during zoom meetings it's not always clear how to keep notes visible without participants seeing them. 

I have had  a personal Zoom account for more than three years and lately when I attempt to join a meeting or start meetings that I have scheduled I get the following message: "You must update to the latest version of Zoom to join this meeting. Contact your IT admin to update." I don't have an IT admin, so I attempted to do the update myself. When I scroll to the Downloads section on the bottom of the Zoom home screen and click to download the latest version, I am asked to sign in to my account. When I attempt to sign in to my account, I get the following message: "Your app version needs to be 5.12.2 or higher to sign in. Please contact your IT team to update your version of Zoom." So I can't join or run meetings unless I update the Zoom version, and I can't sign in to update the Zoom version unless I am on a later version. So I am stuck. I did see some community entries here that suggested uninstalling and reinstalling Zoom. That sounds like a rather unprofes

I need to join a meeting that lasts 3 hours.  I'm NOT the host, just a participant.  MY Zoom plan is the Basic which limits me to a 40 minute meeting.  I don't use Zoom for business and only use about 5 times per year.  Will I get cut off after 40 minutes from a meeting I am a participant and NOT the host?

We have a large number of lecturers at our institute wanting to use Linux as their system (primarily, because they're teaching Linux directly or DevOps/develpment and it's nice to be on the same system you're teaching).  Problem is, Zoom Meetings app is borderline unusable when combined with remote support or screen share. Greatest issues are: 1. When providing remote support to a student, lecturers are unable to type certain keys - such as 's', 'p' and several others. Capitalised versions are fine, however certain keys are interpreted by the remote system as shortcuts. For example, when I press 'p' on the Linux machine, the macOS remote client 'beeps' - same beep as when an invalid key is pressed. Similarly, for example, pressing 'z' on Linux causes Mission Control to appear! This means we can't type anything (such as fixing commands or code) for our students.  2. I just started using my new ASUS computer which runs of Windows 11 and uses Realtek audio driver. I get no audio sound in Zoom. No other application has this problem. I did not have this problem on my old ASUS computer running on Windows 10, and also using Realtek audio driver. I have gone through all the troubleshooting procedures suggested by ASUS Support and also by Zoom. None of that helped to fix the problem.  Has anyone else encountered this? And have you been able to fix the problem?

Hello, ever since updated to Zoom workspace, my video settings don't show the options for @virtual background, filters, blur background or touch up appearance. I am using an Asus Aspire 5 and have the Zoom Workspace Pro plan. I had full use of these settings before the update. Any help would be really appreciated.  Thank you, Sharon
