The Auto-Generated Closed captions are a very useful tool on meetings, and I know that we have the ability to save the transcripts. I would like to see an option to automatically save the transcript of meetings, differentiated based on whether I am a participant or host. Or at least a prompt. As it currently stands if I forget to save the transcript before I leave a meeting there is no way to recover it.  Tyler

I record often and since just this week, my RECORD button is no longer where it used to be. It used to be between SUMMARY and REACTIONS in the lower bar in the zoom meeting window. I've looked for ways to add it back, but have had no luck. Any help?

Hello,So up to now I've been able to use a Rode Video Mic-Me USB-C external microphone on Zoom calls with no issues.  I log in via the Zoom App on a Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra (Android).  After a hiatus over the holidays, however, when I plug this mic before/during a Zoom meeting I get a pop-up stating the video cannot be turned on and that I should check if other apps are using the camera.   The microphone works fine when recording video on the native camera app while not on a Zoom, so I know it's not Android OS or my phone causing the problem.  Also, I plugged in USB-C earbuds during a Zoom meeting with no issues, so I know its not just any USB device blocking the camera - only my Rode mic Moreover, if I start my own Zoom meeting, the camera works (I can see myself) until someone else joins, whereupon the outgoing camera completely shuts off and I receive said error msg.  While I can se

Several times now, a recurring meeting after several successful meetings becomes invalid. The recurring meeting is not listed to be reinstated. Why?Information on the web states that a link becomes invalid because it had been deleted. The host tells me that she did not delete the recurring meeting.Any ideas why?Do alternative hosts have the ability to delete a recurring meeting? 

Hola, tengo un problema con las grabaciones de zoom por correo. Al momento que configuro mi grabación de zoom, lo pongo a petición para que mis clientes antes de ver la clase grabada se registren primero para luego aprobarlas manualmente. Pero el problema está cuando les apruebo... les llega un correo con el link de la clase y es ahí que ese link mis clientes lo pueden compartir con otras personas quienes los pueden ver sin ningún registro y eso es lo que quiero evitar.¿Como hago para que ese link vuelva a solicitar solo el correo de la persona que está autorizada en ver la clase y así evitar que cualquier persona lo pueda ver? Saludos

I tried to get into two zoom meetings yesterday (both invites from the same organization).  Identical to weekly meetings I’ve been zooming for almost six years.I was taken to the meeting site, and could see the others...but just for a brief moment.  Then a screen went up and said my device could not enter the network.My laptop is the same one that has been on the other zoom calls...and I have made no changes to it since last week’s meetings.Anyone got any advice?

Hey Zoom Community, Has anyone ever successfully figured out how to appeal a 1132 error code or been able to contact an actual support agent from Zoom? I'm getting increasingly frustrated with Zoom because I need it for my job, yet when I "appeal" the error code, I get a generic response from no-reply email saying I violated the terms of use, which I did not. I thought I would be able to call Zoom support to talk to an actual worker, but it seems that Zoom makes it literally impossible to talk to an actual agent. I'm extremely disappointed with Zoom and, quite frankly, amazed at their ineptitude. If anyone has a solution to this issue that would be great. The only thing I can think of at this point is to buy a new laptop and use a new email to sign up for Zoom because they also ban your MAC address. Thanks

Could we get a notification sound for when a Meeting Breakout Room participant clicks "Ask for Help?"Invariably, I'll be standing up stretching or working on something else when I've been kicked out of a Breakout Room. It would be immensely helpful to have a "ding" or other notification that the request to come back into the Breakout Room has been clicked. Thanks!  Karl

I have a MacBook Pro and Chrome browser that I am using for a live music recital.  I struggle with knowing exactly how to set up the meeting with the correct audio settings for the Listener/Viewer.  Do I determine the correct audio settings when I create the meeting or when I actually begin the meeting?  I did this before and something wasn’t right but couldn’t determine what exactly was wrong. Grateful for some guidelines.Ed 

Hi, I’ve been having this issue with my mouse cursor for a month. It started happening after I updated my Windows version to Windows 11, but I’m not sure whether these events are connected or not. When I’m sharing a PPT or Google Slides, which are the main content I usually share, everything works normally. However, whenever I need to transition to a new tab, such as Google Docs or Youtube, while still screen sharing, my mouse cursor completely disappears and I cannot do anything about it. It has been so frustrating, because I cannot click on anything, not even on “stop sharing”, and I just have to wait for it to be back. My students say they still see my mouse cursor as I’m moving it desperately trying to get its control back.  I have searched for a solution for this issue in this forum, but most of the results I got are from years and years ago, and none of the recommendations given solved my problem - such as updating Zoom’s version. Can some

For zoom meetings in my group I will copy and paste the zoom link in our chat for easy access. Recently, when I paste the link a WhatsApp phone number shows in the pasted message even though the WhatsApp number is not in the original message. When I try to edit the number out the number doesn't appear in in the edit box. What can I do to stop the WhatsApp number from appearing. I do have WhatsApp on my phone but I rarely use it and only to read messages, not send 

I’ve received notification from zoom for permission to a video.  I’ve never had to grant permission when I provide the link with the password.  The link and password will not allow access to the video.  Any suggestions?

System Setup and Hardware- MacMini M1 running Sequoia 15.2 (24C101),- Connected by USB to,- Zoom Livetrak L-8 running v1.12 and driver installed on Mac OS.FaultLivetrak L-8 functions normally as an audio interface when Zoom is closed. As soon as Zoom app is opened the interface disconnects and cannot be used, including in Zoom. As soon as Zoom is closed, the interface returns to functioning normally. Restarting the Mac and reinstalling Zoom software makes no difference. 

Zoom has been pretty stable for me for a long time on Fedora. I was even able to do screensharing on Wayland for a while but unfortunately it is now broken for me (zoom v7.0.0, Linux 6.19.14, Fedora 43, Gnome 49, Wayland, AMD). Maybe 6.x still works, but currently on 7.0.0When I select what to share (desktop or window) zoom crashes. Similar to this topic, I would like to have dark mode on Linux. As a Linux user, I feel that the topic didn’t fully address the kind of assistance both the original poster, users, and I were hoping for. The current setup still leans heavily on light mode, which can be pretty harsh on the eyes, especially during long sessions or late-night workflows. While there are three options to tweak the top bar and meeting background, they don’t touch the Zoom background itself, which stays glaringly white. That sudden brightness spike is jarring, basically being flashbanged at 3 in the morning. So, a proper dark mode that darkens everything, not just fragments, would be a huge improvement. Including this in the theme selection or rolli

Hello Zoom Support Team,I am experiencing a persistent issue on my Windows laptop and would appreciate your help.Since I bought my device (HP OmniBook 7 Laptop 17-dc0xxx, Windows 11), two host/co‑host controls are completely missing in every meeting:- The option to *lower a participant’s raised hand* does not appear at all.- The option to *Ask to unmute* for muted participants is also missing.These options are simply not there — they do not show up in the participant list or anywhere else.When I join the same meetings from my Samsung phone, everything works normally. Just got a 2024 Apple M4 and downloaded the newest Zoom app... I cannot for the life of me stop this camera from auto focusing and moving with me. All the help documents tell to do things that don't exist in Zoom Workplace!!!  It's so annoying and every time I move a hand the camera zooms in and out, I want it to go back to solid!

Respected Zoom Support Team,I am writing to request a feature that is currently available on the Zoom Desktop client but missing from the mobile app.On the PC version, there is an option under 'Advanced Share' to share 'Computer Audio' only, without sharing the entire screen. However, on the mobile app (Android/iOS), this feature is not available.As a mobile user, I need to share high-quality audio from other apps (like music or educational clips) during my meetings without having to display my phone's screen to all participants.Could you please consider adding an "Audio Only Share" feature to the mobile application in future updates? I still use a PC with an Intel 2600K i7 CPU. However I also have an AMD RX 570 graphics card in this system with 8GB of VRAM. It could easily support virtual backgrounds, but there does not seem to be a way to override the simple CPU check that flags my CPU as "old" and simply disables the feature.It is annoying that I can use Google Meet and other video conferencing software with all features enabled, but not Zoom. Would you please allow a setting in the GUI somewhere, or at least a setting that can be added to the config file that would skip this compatibility check?
