I’m sorry for the late response. If this has not been resolved yet, if the host granted you permission to record during a Zoom webinar, here’s what you need to know:
- If the host recorded the webinar (or allowed you to record), the recording will usually be available in the host’s Zoom account under the Recordings section.
- If you were given permission to record locally, your recording would be saved to your device—typically in your Documents > Zoom folder.
- If the host recorded to the cloud, only the host will see the recording in their Zoom web portal under Recordings & Transcripts: Recordings & Transcripts.
- Co-hosts’ recordings also appear only in the host’s list of recordings.
If you don’t see the recording on your device, it’s likely the host recorded the session, and you’ll need to ask them to share the file or link with you.
