I have a zoom meeting link that has been active for decade. Recently, I would like to edit the meeting detail, such as setting alternate host, etc. But I don't have any handle to control the meeting detail because I have lost the meeting handle long ago (what I mean is, this meeting name does not appear when I log into my zoom account.)Is there anyway to edit the detail of this meeting?

Has anyone ever encountered the Zoom capturing your screen while not logged into Zoom? On my Mac, I noticed a purple screen icon pop up in the menu bar at the top. When I left clicked, it said "zoom.us is capturing your screen." There was no way to exit I then logged into the Zoom app to check the settings, but I could not find anything relevant. I logged out of Zoom and the icon was still there. When I checked tried to Force Quit, Zoom was not found in the list for me to terminate. I ultimately shut down my computer, and when I turned it back on, the icon was gone.

I have been using the signage to show a mp4 video exported from a power point, today i went to upload a new version of the video and it just gets stuck on transcoding, I tried deleting it and re-adding it, tried uploading other videos, but they all just get stuck transcoding with the spinning wheel. Has anyone else had this issue today? I was last able to upload a video a few days ago.

I recently updated Zoom on Linux to 5.17.5 and noticed a new behavior:  when switching desktops the mini-window appears on the first desktop I switch to, but if I switch to a 3rd desktop (or, back to the original) it remains pinned to the second desktop. In other words, once mini-Zoom appears it stays put on the desktop it goes mini on.Past behavior was that the mini-Zoom window followed me around until I needed to maximize it again.  This was the desired behavior and for me, very handy. Now it's quite easy to lose the mini window (when you have 10 workspaces and dozens of browser windows.. don't judge!).Is this a setting which can be adjusted and reset to the old behavior?

Hoping to get some help here.I've been using Zoom to host meetings on my iPad and I need to share my screen. For nearly three years this has worked perfectly fine. Since the beginning of the year this function became unreliable as I had to frequently cancel and then retry the screen share before it worked. Over the past few weeks this has completely stopped working. I've done everything from ensure IOS is properly updated to deleting the Zoom app and then reinstalling. During a few tests with an internal team member it did work one time, but that was it.Anyone else having this problem? I tested this on my iPhone and at least that one test worked fine. Not sure why it is so buggy on the iPad.Thanks in advance for any help.

I have a background from a 2020 meeting that was shared with me.  My team wants to reuse the background. Is there any way I can copy/paste or share my background?

The participant I invited to a meeting was unable to join via the browser. She was supposed to download the Zoom app first, but she didn't want to. Until now, everyone could join the Zoom meeting via the invitation link and no one had to download the Zoom app. What happened here? This is a major disadvantage for my online meetings with Zoom if it no longer works via browser. Where do I change this?

I'm not sure which location to post this question.Zoom has a noise reduction feature on its live feed but is doesn't seem to have the same capability when using Zoom's video playback feature. Does anyone know if there is a way to reduce this background noise?ThanksBob

We have two new Lenovo T14s.  We have been heavy soom users for 2 years.  But with the new computers, our mic quality is bad (others on Zooms complain they cant hear us).  However, the new computers work just fine with Teams, WebEx, Google Meets, so it does not seems to be a microphone problem.  Our old computers still work fine, so it seems that it is not a network problem.  Would could be wrong?  Anyone else having this problem?

It's August 12, 2025 and we've noticed that recently the dial in numbers are missing in Zoom Meeting Invites scheduled via web or Outlook Add In. The only place we see the dial in numbers is if you click a link at bottom of invite text that says "Join Instructions". Has anyone else noticed this problem? We want the "Dial by your location" section to show in the body of the invite with our selected dial in numbers. We've verified under Account Management > Accounting Settings > Audio Conferencing we have our regular toll and toll free numbers selected and the feature is enabled.

QSC Core 110f running 1080p video and audio to Zoom Room PC. Sometimes we get robotic or modulated sounding audio to the far end. Working the issue with QSC but the issue is intermittent so it is tricky. I also have been getting reports of the audio to far end completely cutting out and needing to reseat the USB to resolve the issue. I was troubleshooting today and saw the issue first hand. It was odd... I could see in the windows sound devices that audio was coming into the PC but on the neat zoom panel I could not see any audio coming in even though the correct device was shown and selected. Having a heck of a time getting these issues isolated and resolved. Any assistance would be amazing! PC is a Dell Optiplex 5080 running Win11 Ver 21H2. I have verified all USB hub device firmware is up to date.

Good morning people  I have two regularly scheduled meetings in Zoom with attendance of over 100 folks.  I want to keep the same meetings but I don't need the two links/ID's anymore.   I am afraid that if I cancel the one meeting, even with good communication, a significant amount  of folks will slip through the cracks and miss a meeting.  No one can miss a meeting.  Is there a way to keep a link open for, say 14 days, and just have the meeting A rerouted to Meeting B?

Hi everyone,I attended a 3.5-hour meeting today. Although I wasn't the host, I received permission to record it locally. I have the Zoom folder, but both the MP4 and audio files are only 1 second long. The recording also isn't appearing under "Recordings" in my Zoom account.Does anyone know how to resolve this? The virtual agent was unhelpful. Thanks in advance

I can't locate start/stop times of previous meetings that I've hosted.  I know this exists - but I cannot find where this information is located.  Online instructions are very confusing and/or wrong.  Other solutions from previous years are also inaccurate.   Zoom is a bit too much like Teams.  10,000 buttons to choose from - all scattered in un-obvious places.

I am unable to play the recorded meetings. It gives me the screen where it says the host shared the recording with me but will not let me play it

I am on the Zoom Phone Pro Global Select Unlimited plan (with an assigned international number for South Africa). Does anyone know if this allows me to make unlimited calls to SA ? Or will the cost of calls be on top of the monthly plan costs ? Alternatively, what is the most cost effective plan to call SA ?Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hi, I use Outlook Classic with the Zoom Plugin. When I create a meeting it shchedules it with Zoom and inludes a link properly. The only problem I have is if I move the reponses to the invite (declined or accepted) then the meeting is cancelled. The Folder I move it to is in the Inbox folder, it's just a place where I put my read mails that need no futrher actions. Example: "Inbox > Sort"  I use a Quick Steps action to move mail this way and all it does it mark it read and move it to my folder.  I understand if moving it to another calendar, this would cause it to be delted but moving the accepted invites between folders should not delete the meeting right?  I have a Zoom Workplace License that is managed by IT but no one else I work with has this problem and they all move mail from the inbox to another folder to keep the inbox clear.  Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Can I create more than 12 pages in whiteboard?

Is that true that ZOOM doesn't record if I join the meeting from iPad?Even I've heard "recording is progress" ?

Hi,  We have recorded a zoom meeting. How can we reply this recorded meeting on an existing scheduled meeting? Can it we achieved automatically or does somebody has to attend the meeting and start to reply it manually?

Hi,We are looking for a way to have a phone automatically dial an extension when the handset is picked up.The use case:A waiting room in a medical facility. We want to install a phone in the waiting area so that when someone picks up the handset, it will automatically dial the nurses' station. Thanks!

Hi we have a main phone auto receptionist that will direct dial some call queues, but for others, we want to leave a dialback option, so that when a user makes a selection, if they change their mind they can return to the main menu and make a different selection. The only way I'm finding to make this happen is by setting up a secondary auto receptionist for those lines (I would love is there was a better solution at this level). In doing that we have a scenario that runs somewhat like this:Main IVR: Customer selects 3Secondary IVR, "You have reach team 3 who handle the following types of calls (e.g). Please stay on the line while we connect you or press 1 to return to the main menu or 0 to leave a voicemail."Auto IVR message (that we would like to remove) "if you know the extension of the person you are trying to reach please dial it now or press zero to return to the operator...please wait while we connect your call."This IVR message is confusing customers, many don't realize that the

in my Zoom meeting, I can share the Chosen movie sound but not the image. I am not sure if it is a zoom setting that needs to changed or if Google prevents sound sharing. Google has not responded me yet.

Does anyone know if you can use a different email's calendar than the zoom account email for zoom scheduler? For example, if my email as EmailA @ work.com to log into zoom, could I then use a different email account's calendar to link to zoom scheduler (like EmailB @ gmail.com) ? Or does the zoom scheduler email account have to be the same as the zoom user account?
