OS version: Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTSZoom version: 6.4.6 (1370)Hardware: Dell XPS 9320 Laptop, using integrated mic and speakers. Problem: During Zoom meetings, my sound and microphone will abruptly stop working. When this happens, if I go into audio settings and click "Test Speaker" no sound plays. My microphone still transmits sound, but it becomes very distorted and low quality. This state can usually be fixed by leaving and rejoining the Zoom meeting. It also seems to have a chance of being fixed every time I swap speaker devices in the Zoom settings. I can usually trigger this state by sharing screen or otherwise swapping focus away from Zoom. I don't have this issue with any software other than Zoom. I have a suspicion that this is a Pipewire/Wireplumber issue, but I don't understand enough about how Zoom interacts with those to troubleshoot. I haven't found any transparent documentation about that. Troubleshooting steps I have tried:1. Checking that I am not muted, and t

Starting two weeks ago, I can no longer change the audience when FB launches via zoom.  In the past the audience is set to (only me) and I could change to public. Don't know why the Zoom FB audience is set to "only me" when my FB profile audience is set to public.  I would like my audience set permanently to public and not "only me" when zoom launches FB. How can this be fixed. Once I end streaming to FB from zoom, it will allow me to change to public but not while it is live. Very frustrating.

I was removed from an account but need to access my recordings so I can download them. The admin readded me but when I try to login, it keeps taking me to my downgraded account. How can I access the old account so I can get my recordings?

Why does my phone keep ringing in my headphones after I've answered?  No, there's not another call coming in.It also continues to ring (in my headphones) if the caller drops the call before someone answers. Is there a setting to fix that?  If so, where?

Up until recently, Zoom would email alternate hosts when a cloud recording was ready. Now I get them (as I'm the meeting host) but none of the alt hosts do. This post references a setting that apparently no longer exists:https://community.zoom.com/t5/Zoom-Meetings/How-to-send-alert-via-email-of-ready-meeting-recording/m-p/132666 Was that functionality removed? If so, what are my alternatives?

Hi there, I hope someone can help me with some advice. I have started a free monthly "Gathering Space" on zoom. During the first one, for which I registered participants via Eventbrite, someone sent an abusive message. I was not clear whether it was the person it seemed to be or note, as when I sent a DM reply, an automatic message popped up to say "your message cannot be delivered to XXXX as XXXX is not in the meeting", but I could very clearly see and hear XXXX in the meeting". I have dealt with this and won't dwell anymore but I share it because it means I wanted more security. I set up my next meeting on Zoom, and promoted registration it via linked in events . I activated as much security as I could on Zoom. When it came to people accessing the meeting, a number of people could not get in because I had set it to only allow "registered members" so I had to remove that. Then people could not get in (including my co-host, who was registered as a presenter) because

Hello, I can't join the zoom meeting from app or browser and it shows me just this error code as 1132.I tried different browsers and different em

Updated Zoom today and now the built in microphone will not work. If I mute, then unmute, the microphone will pick up my voice for a half of a second (microphone icon shows green) and then it cuts out. Muting and unmuting a second time has no effect. I have updated microphone driver (already had the most updated version), disabled, enabled, uninstalled & reinstalled. Microphone works on the test side of the laptop. Will not work on the test side of Zoom. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Zoom. Microphone is allowed for all programs. It was working normally before the Zoom update. Nothing else has changed on my laptop otherwise. I have all the auto enhancements turned off. I have toggled through the settings to test each one. Microsoft Windows 11 on HP Envy. What am I missing?

I have paid a monthly payment today on 22 June but on renewal there is 22 June written how to solve this error

Hi all,We're currently on the Zoom Business plan with 12 Workplace licenses, primarily to access the Language Interpretation feature, which is essential for our international meetings. As our active user demand has decreased, we're exploring whether it's possible to reduce the number of paid Business licenses to, for example, 8—without losing access to the Language Interpretation feature.Could anyone advise whether this is technically and contractually feasible? Alternatively, are there any lower-cost options—such as add-ons with the Pro plan—that still provide access to Language Interpretation? We’d really appreciate any guidance on how to adjust our plan while keeping this key functionality. Thanks in advance!Best, Kirsten

I'd like for my webinar to be live, but then available on-demand. If I choose on-demand, is that how it works, or will it always be download only and never live. Follow-up, how do I send a recording of the webinar to registrants? Thanks!

Hi,  I have spent 60 minutes trying to have no virtual background. With the help of ChatGPT, I have already deleted and installed Zoom, deleted the Cache on my Mac, etc.  The background apparently is saved somewhere online.. Would you have any recommendations? Thanks!

I love that there is an SMS templates section in the admin portal so that I can make it easy for my call center volunteers to respond in a similar way. (Found in Account Management > Account settings > Zoom phone > SMS templates) I set up several SMS templates in the portal, but can't figure out how to use them when actually texting. We've tried the iOS app, the MacOS app, and the web app. Is there a setting I need to set elsewhere to allow my users to use these templates?

Is it possible to schedule a meeting a month in advance if you have a pay monthly subscription. So, for example, I start a monthly subscription in July but want to book a meeting in for August. Is this possible or can I only book meetings in for the month I've paid the subscription for?

I'm not sure this is the right place for this question. Please direct me if there is a better place.I have Workplace Pro and it seems that the video filters are supposed to be available, but they are not. Please advise.

I set up my Zoom account with a particular email account for my log on and profile.  But when I schedule a meeting a different email appears as the host of the meeting and the invite is sent out from that different email account, not the account which is on my profile.  I am fairly sure I didn't make this change and I can't work out how to change it back.  Any ideas?

what happened here?https://i.postimg.cc/mgcdQ7w6/image.png happened today in version 6.4.6. then I updated and it's now at 6.4.7 with the same issue.virtual background doesn't work either for me.

I am trying to edit the "countries approved" setting in my personal meeting ID settings and the "edit" tab is grayed out. I get a message stating that my account is blocked and I must contact the admin.  I am the only one using this account.  I am the admin?   Please help.  Under Schedule Meeting, click the Enable Personal Meeting ID toggle to enable or disable it.Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level. You need to contact your Zoom admin.

Hello, when I  start a screen share, the participants always see a black rectangles where ever I have zoom windows. I've tried the different suggestions in previous discussions - none of them work. Black Box while screen share. - Zoom Community

Hello..I had subscribed to Zoom basic plan using my personal email address while back.  Recently I upgraded to Zoom Pro for my own business.  However, when scheduling meetings, the invite goes from my personal email and not my business email.  Since I use Zoom mainly for business purposes, I would like to transfer the subscription to my business account which means the Pro plan will apply to my business account and the basic plan can continue to be on my personal email.  I do not mind deactivating the basic plan altogether.  I do not wish to pay double.  Can someone please help?Best regards

Hi. I want to turn off automatic Zoom updates as it is causing me problems updating just before meetings. The latest one changed my audio settings so I couldn't hear anyone. I've subsequently researched it and followed the instructions previously given to change it but the instructions I read said to find it in Settings-General. When I go into this section automatic updates are not mentioned. Today I was updated to ZoomWorkplace so has it changed? Should I be looking in another tab? Many thanks.

A potential client was scheduled for a meeting and sent me her link.I 'm on Mac and she is on a pc and it said we could not connect unless I was also on a pc.
