Account Management

Hello..

I had subscribed to Zoom basic plan using my personal email address while back.  Recently I upgraded to Zoom Pro for my own business.  However, when scheduling meetings, the invite goes from my personal email and not my business email.  Since I use Zoom mainly for business purposes, I would like to transfer the subscription to my business account which means the Pro plan will apply to my business account and the basic plan can continue to be on my personal email.  I do not mind deactivating the basic plan altogether.  I do not wish to pay double.  Can someone please help?

Best regards

Hi @BBAD ,

I just took care of this for you and the Pro license is now assigned to your business email address. For future reference, here is how you can manage the licenses yourself:

  1. Sign in to the Zoom web portal as an admin with the privilege to edit account settings.
  2. In the navigation menu, click User Management then Users.
  3. Scroll or search for the user.
  4. To the right of the user's information, click Edit.
  5. Edit the license.

Let me know if there is anything else you need help with.

Cheers,

Hi @BBAD ,

Welcome to the Zoom Community!

If both your personal and your business email address are currently the owner of a Zoom account, then I would suggest (1) inviting the business email address to join the Pro account. Once done, you can (2) re-assign the Pro license to your business email address and use it to send out meeting invitations. I would also suggest (3) making the business email address the new owner of the account.

Please see the below articles:

  1. Adding existing users to a paid account
  2. Assigning Zoom licenses
  3. Changing the account owner

If you need further assistance, please reach out to Billing by chat or ticket.

Hello.. thanks for your support.  Currently my personal account is shown as the Owner and my business account as Member.  I tried using the suggested  links but could not do.  I think the best option will be to transfer the license (Pro) to my business account and leave the personal account as Basic.  How can that be done?

thank you

Thank you so much for your assistance.  Greatly appreciate.  One last thing.. how do I ensure that when i schedule a Zoom meeting, the Pro license is used (my business account). i.e. I need the business account to be the host so that there is no time limit.  Thanks
