 I’d like to share a suggestion regarding the “Allow all users to remotely check in/out through their Zoom account” setting.Currently, this option is only available at the Workspaces level, but we believe it would be much more flexible if it could also be configured at the Floor level. This would allow administrators to tailor the check-in experience based on the needs of each floor — for example, enabling QR code-only check-in on one floor, and allowing both app and QR code check-in on another.Right now, the setup feels a bit rigid, and adding this option to the Floor settings would greatly improve usability and adaptability across different office layouts and workflows.We hope the development team can consider this enhancement in future updates.  

hello, I have recorded 72 clips and after editing, the sound and video doesn't match up.I am using a fairly new Mac air laptop, normally I have no issues with editing Loom clips, or editing other video content generally.I have tried playing the clips on my iPhone 16, with and without wifi, but if I try to watch the clip and select a certain point in the video eg 2mins into the playing, the sound and video don't match for the rest of the clip. I tried downloading the clip - the video and sound are not synced in the downloaded file.My clients would need to access these clips for learning purposes.I am faced with having to re-record EVERYTHING again, or change to use the app called Loom.Please help me with any suggestions. 

(My subject line is a quote from the Zoom instructions.)   I'm on a research team using Zoom audio transcripts for hour-long research interviews. We're finding the quality of the audio transcription to be very good. However, the frequency of what Zoom calls "sections" is extreme -- sometimes every two seconds, even though the speaker hasn't changed. I can understand having a section each time a speaker changes, but what we're experiencing is much more frequent. It makes the transcripts much less readable. However, deleting hundreds of timestamps for every transcript seems quite a waste of time. Has anyone else found a way to avoid the extreme frequency of these timestamps?   As a related curiosity, under Advanced Cloud Recording Settings there's a setting for "add a timestamp to the recording," which I've always had as unselected. Since the frequent timestamps appear anyway, maybe I should experiment and check that setting just to see what happe

I have a transcript from an important Meetings conversation that is broken into so many time stamps that the transcript is near useless because I'll need to spend a long time deleting and combining phrases to create complete sentences. It has broken everything into short phrases, many just two or three words, before adding another one.  I was poking around to see if I could regenerate the transcript, and so far do not see how to do that. In the process, I discovered that I actually have the option to allow a time stamp for cloud recordings unchecked. So I would think I should not even be getting them.  So two questions: why am I getting time stamps with this turned off, and is there a way to fix this current transcript?

When scheduling a meeting in the Zoom Workplace desktop app (v6.6.2), the attendee search field gets stuck loading and then turns into a blank white box. The app does not technically go into “Not Responding,” but it becomes unusable and requires ending the task through Task Manager. This seems to happens when the app tries to pull contact suggestions from the user’s Google integration. Typing certain letters (like C) eventually returns results after about 10 seconds of loading, while others (like J) trigger the freeze. The Zoom web portal does not experience the freeze but also doesn’t provide any attendee auto-suggestions — it requires typing full email addresses manually. Would like Zoom Clips to have the option to transcribe my recording clips, not finding any information if clips will include this either now or in the future.

Hi, I've recorded a zoom clip that has a transcript which is visible from the URL. I'm able to download the clip but the download doesn't have the transcript. On my web portal, I can see the clip under "clips" but can't see it under "recordings" and i'm not able to download the transcript this way.How can I resolve downloading my transript ?

I was recording a meeting. After the meeting ended and it was time to convert it to mp4, I got a message that said something around "there's another conversion happening, after it ends go to your account and convert it from there." The message was true; a previous meeting recording was being converted.  I pressed okay but the thing is I didn't sign in to enter that meeting so I can't find it on my account. Please help, I need to send that recording to someone as fast as possible.

I have enabled the translation function and have been using it for many many times.However, it suddenly disappeared when I was scheduling a meeting last Sat.I have checked that the translation function is still enabled and I have already updated my Zoom to the latest version.When I start a new meeting, I cannot assign someone to be the translaor. Also, I cannot see the "earth logo" in the Zoom meeting.I checked my recurring meeting and the "earth logo" still exist.If anybody knows the solution, please help. I need the translation function urgently. Thanks!

A Intel I3-6100u  works right on screen sharing or no?Dual and single-core laptops have a reduced frame rate when screen sharing (around 5 frames per second). For optimum screen-sharing performance on laptops, we recommend a quad-core processor or higher. I m confused about the cores and the technology or architecture of a cpu  Thanks

im having issue with logitech zoom roommate kit using room control page with JSON file.i set the icons that fits the functionality and all of the icons are turning into arrow icon once in a while. that get fixed if i reboot the system or leave it for long time then it fixes itself.  im not sure what is triggering that and end user getting confusion by all of the icons are turning into arrow and they dont know what they are pressing in the room control page.  have anyone experience that and know how to fix the issue?

The ZOOM Guide says you need to have the desktop app for being able to participate in breakout sessions, but we haven't had a case, were this didn't work via Chrome/Firefox/etc. in quite some time.Now, we want users to be able to self select breakout sessions in a bigger event and ask us the same question: Will this work, if most of them show up without having the desktop app installed or will we find ourselves having to manually select all participants into their respective rooms?Maybe some of you use this often and can offer your experiences. 

I have Zoom version 5.17.31859 installed on a number of devices and I cannot remove it nor can I upgrade itIf I try to uninstall it gives me a message about not being able to locate 'installer.msi'I have tried to locate a compatible file without any luck. Can anyone advise? Thank you 🙂 

Can the audio transcription generated for a recording file be converted to other languages, and while the host can see it individually, can this recording file be shared with others? When the link is shared with others, the audio transcription disappears, and the person it's shared with can only see the transcription in the original language which is unreadable for them. 

I'm a veteran Zoom user for my Math and Physics Teaching Company...and I'm THRILLED to see we can finally upload pdfs. I'm the only account holder, thus the admin. I have made sure the toggle is set to allow me (and my students) to upload pdfs and images, etc. to whiteboard. HOWEVER - the option is simply NOT showing up in my whiteboards in meetings. I have restarted my mac, I have quit and restarted Zoom. I am logged in.  (Zoom 5.16.6)Both Zoom and Mac are current.  HELP! I'm losing it!

How do I turn on the background blur on zoom in web browser? I can’t use the zoom desktop app (whenever I try to download it tells me it’s not compatible with my computer) so I use the zoom in web browser by clicking the tiny text that says if it’s not working you can open the zoom meeting in the web browser instead of the app. I know how to turn on the background blur on the desktop app when it used to work on my computer but I can’t find how to turn it on within the web browser.

Hello,I am on Windows 11 and have Zoom updated v.6.6.1. It is on auto-start at start of Windows boot. I have tried searching help here, asking Chat GPT and other resources and I still can't fix this, so I am trying posting here for specialized help please.All I want is for ALL zoom notifications to show up in Windows notification center in tab WITHOUT showing up as pop-up banners. To my understanding, the only way to do this is to configure notifications in Windows 11 settings and customize that for the Zoom app. However, no matter what I do, Zoom does NOT show up in Windows "notifications from apps and other senders." What do I need to do to force Zoom to show itself in this app list?Whenever I change notification setting only on Zoom, pop-ups always appear on my desktop, and I want them t only show silently in the Windows Notifications Tab.Please help, thank you in advance 🙂

I use the same survey content every time I schedule a webinar. Is there a way for me to not have to type in the content from scratch everytime? I schedule webinars daily and it seems like a tedious waste of time copying out the same survey content each time. I like the survey being part of the Zoom follow- up email so it is important for it not to be a third party link (that is currently an option). Anyone else come across this problem?

Hi there, I'm setting up a new wallboard to display for my team, but I'd like to have the list sorted by availability (IE, unavailable users are at the bottom of the list).  When I go into Settings I'm not seeing any way to do this, I've tried clicking on the listing names (Client Status, Member, Opt-in Call Queues) but it didn't provide what I needed. Is that not an available feature, or am I missing it somehow? Thank you!
