Phone

From time to time users will dial a number and it states call forbidden. They hang up the phone and dial the number again and the call completes?

Hello,Is there a  way to disable the callerid from scrolling when the call is forwarded on a Poly E350/450 phone? We have an AR setup. For option 1, the call is forwarded to an SLG. The callerid scrolls, but since this is so much info being displayed, the original callerid is missing. Since this is a busy office, hey want to collect the callerid when the call is being presented, not in the call history. Any suggestions?Thank you in advance.

In zoom phone we are having issues with the called party not being able to hear the calling party. Once we reset the phone it seems to solve the issue for a little while. Has anyone else come across this issue, we have Yealink phones.

I had a suspicious log in to my account on April 29, 2026 at 5:09am in the morning from my phone but I didn’t do it. I need to prove to my wife that it wasn’t me. I would like to get further info on it please.

Hello, We are trying to integrate Zoom Phone with Salesforce using the Zoom for Salesforce Lightning CTI adapter. Current configuration: CTI Adapter URL: https://zoom.us/lightning/zoomphone/lightning.appPermissions sets assigned (Zoom Phone User)Zoom Marketplace app authorizedPhone number assigned and activeUser email address matches between Salesforce and ZoomClickjack protection disabled on Salesforce  Issue:When opening the Phone component, we get the following error:Refused to display 'https://zoom.us/' in a frame because it set 'X-Frame-Options' to 'sameorigin'. Additionally, there is a 404 error:Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 Question:Does this require any special configuration or account-level activation on the Zoom side to allow iframe embedding for Salesforce CTI? Could you please advise the next steps to resolve this? Thank you.

I’m trying to set up a call queue that is exclusively used for Faxing.  The members of the queue should never have this queue ring their phone, and it should never accept a voicemail.  Just send and receive faxes. Is this possible?  I think I have some settings to do this, but not clear if this will work.  Honestly, I’m surprised this isn’t an option out of the box.  TIA for any help/helpful suggestions

I want to text my friend but I dont know were to put her phone number.

In zoom phone is there a way to determine what party terminated a phone call.

Have Zoom Phone for about 162 users.  Our users use a combination of Zoom app and Polycom VVX310 desk phones.  Most use both (have a desk phone and use the app when remote). Our front desk uses a Polycom desk phone but mostly uses the Zoom app with the PowerPak add on.   I am getting more and more reports of when a call is transferred one person cannot hear the other.  It can vary on if its one of my users who cannot hear, or the remote side, but once that party calls back, the second call - audio is fine. This is happening on WARM transfers. Microphone and audio settings are not in play here as its random and occurs with the app and desk phones both, but again completely random. I am not sure even where to start with this troubleshooting.  Logs show everything is good.   Call logs do not show any errors of course as the calls are completed

Need to have two zoom phone system open at the same time

Cisco released their latest 9800 series phones over a year ago. Cisco markets the phone as, "use one device for Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Webex Calling, Broadworks, or other 3rd party cloud calling platforms. My Zoom rep has indicated that this phone might be certified in June 2025 and that it's on their roadmap but that no official ETA has been announced. We are seriously considering switching from our legacy Avaya Aura PBX to Zoom Phone. We like the Poly Edge devices we've tested however the Cisco 8800 and newer 9800 series devices seem a little higher quality and more substantial.  I personally prefer the larger buttons. Has anyone heard anything about when these phones will be supported by Zoom and other cloud calling platforms? I've look at all the providers (Zoom, Nextiva, 8x8, RingCentral, Microsoft, etc.) and none of them support the 9800 series yet, even though it's been out a year.

Looking for the steps to expand buttons on Poly VVX450 phone from 12 buttons to 48 buttons.

Hello,  We recently installed multiple MP1288s in our environment.  We have a large number of Cortelco 255400VBA-20M phones spread throughout our campus.  Currently we are experiencing an issue where the phones do not ring loud enough to be heard.  The sound is a muffled clicking.  I have found that when you slide the volume adjuster to the halfway point on the phones, they can be heard but not loud enough for most areas.  I am currently troubleshooting this issue with an Audiocodes tech, but still have not figured out a way to get the volume of the bell loud enough.  Has anyone ever come across this problem?  I have checked the firmware.  We have attempted to change the Trapezoid Ring Parameter, to no avail.  Any help would be appreciated.

Hi there i need zoom calling in us and Canada for 2 to 5 users

Could use some help. Lord knows the Zoom bot can’t answer tech questions! It would seem Windows (11 Pro) strips DSCP tags from packets. This results in traffic not getting priority like it should for zoom phone, or zoom video. Are others out there seeing this ? Have you instead, opted to manually set the Zoom Phone port range in the Admin panel? Do you suggest this?App Control using the router is NOT an option. That is a subscription service far beyond budgets (it would cost us an entire FT position to try to pay for that for our sites). Small agency, non-profit.  Would love to hear suggestions as this is driving me nuts. Tried so many things to give these packets priority to then discover through Wire Shark the tags were missing entirely. For some further background - this is a mixture of smaller sites. At the most, one location may have 40 people if everyone was on a call at the same moment (highly unlikely, that’s everyone in the building and we’re not phone heavy). Most other sites

I am having issue with receiving OTP SMS. I have the call plan and phone plan, but I don’t have the 10DLC campaign. Do I need the campaign for receiving OTP SMS only? Else, what could be the issue preventing me from receiving SMS?

Last week we started noticing complaints from our staff that they were not hearing anything one some phone calls. If a person outside the company called a staff, the staff would pick up the call but not hear anything. There’d be dead silence. Staff would hang up and call back. Then, both parties could hear each other. We have noticed that the issue has become pronounced. We have heard a lot more complaints. Regardless whether it’s an outbound call or inbound call or inter-company call, the dead silence issue appears every now and then for many staff members. The ones who make/receive a bunch of calls throughout the day are hurting the most.Zoom meetings also take over 30 seconds before they connect. We have noticed the dead silence issue from laptops, phone apps, over wired network, wireless network, and in different geographies. Has anyone else noticed this behavior lately? If so, how did you resolve it?We have a support ticket open. I thought I’d ask if others had inputs.

We had an issue last year with one our mobile numbers being spoofed, we had to discard the number eventually as hundreds of people were being called and then calling us back (there were no calls made from us)Now this past week, 2 of our numbers have started receiving calls from people returning calls we haven’t made. We don’t seem to have support for our Zoom Phone service (other than ai chat).Anyone know what we can do? We’ve only ever had this issue since moving to Zoom. Many thanks

We are using Zoom Phone Smart Embed embedded as an iframe in our web application. We use it in combination with the Call Me On feature to route outbound calls through a mobile device.IssueWhen the mobile device (with Zoom Workplace app installed) goes to sleep (screen lock), the Smart Embed iframe on the desktop web application displays the following error:Connection Lost: It seems your session has ended. Please refresh the page to reconnect and update the device list. When the mobile device is unlocked and the Zoom app returns to online status, the error message appears to clear on its own. However, the user reports that they also need to refresh the Smart Embed screen multiple times — we have not been able to reproduce this behavior on our end and are still investigating.Steps to Reproduce1. Connect a Zoom Phone account to our web application2. Enable Call Me On in the Zoom Workplace mobile app and set the mobile device as the calling device3. Load the Smart Embed iframe in the web app

The desk phone of one of our users is beeping every 15 minutes or so. The phone is a Poly VVX250. I’ve replace the phone and patch cables, moved it to a different switch port, and rebooted the switch, but nothing seem sto help. I also set up another VVX250 in my office with the user’s extension and it too is beeping about every 15 minutes. So, it seems to be an issue with the user’s account or line. AI support was useless and my support plan doesn’t allow me to talk to humans, so I’m hoping someone here can help.
