no zoom call with car BT HFP

I have the same issue as many other users. I have a Google Pixel 8 Pro phone, always latest sw updates for both OS and the zoom app, connected to a Hyundai Ioniq 6 2023 via BT. Google Meet, whatsapp audio, all work BUT ZOOM. When I click on a calendar link and join a Zoom call, the zoom app displays "preparing meeting..." and immediately the car HFP starts and on the car dashboard I see the call in progress notification, then the car disconnects the call (call terminated) while zoom starts the call...

I have exactly the same behaviour if my phone is connected to the car via the USB cable in Android Auto mode. I can see the Zoom app on the Android Auto screen and I can mute/unmute or change from BT to speaker to phone back to BT. But I will NEVER get any audio in BT mode.

Again, other IP call apps like Google Meet or WhatsApp audio call work fine. Regular traditional cellular calls work fine. Audio streaming works fine. it is an issue of the ZOOM app handshake with the car HFP bluetooth stack.

Any hopes for an upcoming fix?
