A spammy online marketer keeps sending me Zoom email invites, and it's clogging up my inbox. I never subscribed to their thing and there isn't a way to unsubscribe/remove from list through the zoom invites that I can find. I don't want to block the emails because it will block all Zoom meeting invites and I do need access for work purposes. Nor do I want to just create a new folder because real meetings will get lost in the spammy jungle. Does zoom have no way to ask to be removed from someone's meetings?

I am repeatedly receiving unsolicited emails inviting me to join meetings and automatically entering the meetings on my Outlook calendar.  These are from persons or companies I haven't heard of, or are from zoom for their training meetings.  I haven't been able to find any way to stop this.  I am so tired of regularly having to remove these meeting from my calendar and there is no option to unsubscribe from the zoom emails.  Please help.  Thank you.

For several weeks now when acting as host on a family zoom meeting when I get the 10 minute warning notice which appears in the centre of my screen, if I click the ‘X’ to close the notice the session is ended. This is a nonsense and didn’t used to happen. What is the issue?

Traditionally I understand Knowledge Bases have been optimized for human ingestion and SEO, with regards to AI ingestion in Zoom Virtual Agents(ZVA), would there be any guidance on optimizing the following:1. CRM KB Records (Direct Integration)- to add a hidden field on record for only the ZVA to review and provide answers that is not visible to public (ZVA specific resolution guidance) to improve output. 2. Curated YouTube Playlist (Web crawl) - Adding Transcripts to videos, will this enhance the resources that the ZVA uses3. Word Documents (Upload to KB with manually adding tags and category) - with specific guidance however these would be for internal use and the ZVA cannot cite these as they are not publicly available. This is to improve the knowledge of the ZVA when dealing with support queries that require specific step by step guidance for resolution. Typically when syncing a KB there are column that will display Title, Category and Tag, is there another dimension of data that ca

Setup: Zoom Virtual Agent (AI Studio) connected to a Contact Center channel. We built a custom transfer flow that, before routing a visitor to a live agent, collects the visitor's name and email and sets the correct queue — so the specialist receives the visitor's details and lands in the right queue.Goal: For any live-agent / support handoff, collect name + email (and set the queue) BEFORE the transfer to Contact Center happens. The problem: Whenever a visitor expresses intent to reach support or a live agent (e.g. "agent", "connect with support"), a built-in curated flow named "transfer to support channel" fires automatically and immediately completes the transfer — bypassing our custom skill and flow entirely. The visitor is transferred with no name or email collected, and in some cases no queue set.In Agent tracing we can see the event: "Curated flow triggered: transfer to support channel" — it fires within ~90ms, before our own flow runs. On the live site the transfer completes (th

Hi all I am new to Contact Center, I am trying to understand the hand-off of variables from ZVA (Voice) to Contact Center. In my current config the ZVA has a skill that is collecting specific user info from the caller (name, email, company-id, extension) when they ask to speak to a live agent. I have the custom fields saved to global variables. I also can see the custom variables I created in ZVA in the Contact Center variables. I have strict instructions for the agent to respond back and confirm the variables are populated with the caller info provided. I created another skill for the agent to run /transfer_to_live_agent. When the call transfers to the agent, I do not see any of my custom variables when the agent accepts the call. I have double checked that my variables are set to global, active setting for Display in Zoom Contact Center client, Display Location is both incoming notification and engagement details. What’s the trick to get the details in the Contact Center Agent worksp

I’m the Owner and only admin/user of an individual Zoom Workplace Basic account. Under Account Management > Account Settings > Meeting > Security, Meeting Passcode and PMI Passcode are locked ON at the account level. Waiting Room is also enabled.I understand Zoom requires meetings to have a security option. However, current Zoom documentation says this requirement can be satisfied by Passcode, Waiting Room, or Only authenticated users can join.I searched the Community before posting and found several older threads describing this exact issue. In one, a Community Manager referenced Zoom's May 2020 policy requiring passcodes. In another, a Community Super Champion created a new Basic account and reproduced the locked-passcode behavior, but specifically stated that he could not find documentation saying Basic users must have a passcode and therefore assumed it had become a Basic-account requirement. My portal currently says: “Per new security guidelines, you cannot change this set

Imagine 5 to 15 retired seniors meeting to be taught and/or discuss a subject of interest. Sometimes all parties are in their homes connecting by Zoom. Sometimes everyone except the speaker is in one room like a church social hall or the back room of a small restaurant with a large screen TV and an upgraded microphone/camera on a laptop. The problem is that most of the time there are a mix of people in the room on phones, tablets or laptops; There are also people in the room depending on a communal monitor, speaker, mike and camera to participate. Finally, there are some people trying to be in both worlds with a phone for speaker and mike, but using the monitor to see the group.  The pure groups work fine but the mixed groups have problems with not enough volume, not enough mike sensitivity and feedback. I am sure that part of the problem involves managing the layout of the groups but part of the problem is not having the right equipment. Zoom Workplace 7.1.5 on Fedora does not provide the My Notes transcription experience available on Windows and macOS. Please add Linux support and publish its roadmap status.Zoom’s documentation is currently inconsistent: the dedicated My Notes requirements exclude Linux, while the general Notes documentation and Workplace release notes describe Linux availability or Linux-visible controls. Please clarify which My Notes capabilities are supported on Linux and whether full transcription and AI enrichment are planned.Relevant Zoom documentation:https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0083849https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0057702https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0061222

Linux cannot resize the participant screen or show more than 4 participants during sharing.  When sharing my screen or window the participant screen (video of participant) is a fixed size and cannot show more than 4 participants at one time.  When I am not sharing I have full control over the participant window and the contents are not limited to four participants. As reference:I use a single monitor. I run Ubuntu 22.04.1 LTS Zoom 5.12.6 (173) Large screen monitor 3440 x 1440 Dell Latitude 5591 Any suggestions?

I’ve created a custom template under AI Companion/Custom Meeting Template. It is saved, published and accessible to the 'entire account’When I go to select this as my preferred meeting template to use and change the default template (currently set to ‘general), my template does not show up on the list to choose from.  Under the template tab ‘by my company’, the template number shows as ‘0’.I’ve looked everywhere to figure out what I’m doing wrong! Any and all help appreciated.I have a Pro license.

I have Zoom Workplace Pro plan.  Under Plans and Billing / Plan Management it shows I can manage “Zoom Workplace Pro” and “Large Meeting | 1,000 Participants” does this mean 1000 or 1100 participants can join the meeting----What is the maximum participants that can join a scheduled meeting?  How can I determine a scheduled meeting maximum connections?

Hey Zoomies! Here's a scenario that happens more often than we'd like to admit:A customer emails you a week after your last call: "Can you resend what we discussed?"And then the hunt begins. Was it in the meeting recording? The summary? A Whiteboard you built together? A Doc someone shared in chat?Sound familiar? You're not alone — and that's exactly the problem Zoom Hub was designed to solve.  What Is Zoom Hub?Zoom Hub is a centralized place within Zoom Workplace to access and manage all the assets your team already creates — meeting recordings, meeting summaries, Canvas, Whiteboards, Clips, and more.Instead of remembering which part of Zoom holds a particular resource, Hub gives you a single starting point to surface and work with content wherever it already lives. Your assets aren't moved into a new storage location — Hub simply gives you a smarter, unified way to find them.Think of it as your team's "after the meeting" home base. A Real-World Sales ExampleImagine a sales rep who ju

I regularly host online teaching sessions on Zoom and make extensive use of breakout rooms, where students work together in smaller groups.Students sometimes ask to remain in the same breakout-room group across multiple teaching sessions. At present, when a new session takes place on a different day, I need to keep a separate record of the previous group composition and then manually recreate the breakout rooms and reassign each student to the correct room. This can be quite time-consuming, particularly with larger classes. It would be very useful if Zoom provided a feature that allowed a host to save a breakout-room configuration — including the room names and participant assignments — and then reuse that configuration in a future meeting. For example, when creating breakout rooms, the host could be given an option such as “Save breakout room configuration”. In a subsequent meeting, the host could select “Use saved configuration”, choose the appropriate saved configuration, and have Zoo

Hi,  What do I need help with?I would like to seek your help in solving 1 issue I ran into in the past week: in the past week, some of the texts entered in Traditional Chinese characters on whiteboard will disappear once the meeting participants (myself and the attendees included) finish typing and hit enter. I’ve been using Zoom for the past 4 years+, and I’ve never had this issue until last week when Zoom whiteboard had an update (with new visual layouts for the tool bar).  What I have tried to fix the problem (to no avail):So far, I’ve tried to fix it with the following methods:Disable the “Use Whiteboard by default” option in Setting (under “Meeting (General)) Change text to all the available fonts in Whiteboard Fix possible incompatibility issue by updating Window IME (Traditional Chinese input) Enter text using “Post-it” on Whiteboard instead of using the text box Updating Zoom Desktop APP to the latest version None of them solved my issue. I do 20+ meetings every week on Zoom wi

I just held a meeting with a client for about an hour. I definitely clicked record and we both heard the " this meeting is being recorded" But it is not in my cloud or on the computer. Can any one give me advice on how to recover it? Where it might be or what might have happened? Cos I can't get any help from Zoom. I have a paid account

Is anyone else running into issues after installing Zoom Workplace? We've installed it on a couple of workstations but after they login to Zoom and try to run a session, the session window pops up then goes away never starting the zoom meeting. We're then having to uninstall Zoom Workplace and installing an previous version to run our Zoom Meetings. Reported this to Tech Support and waiting on a solution, any information is greatly appreciated.

Please add Nepali too as transcribing language.

Hello Can someone help me please - I had a zoom meeting that I was the host and I recorded it and I cannot find it - before it would be emailed to me and now nothing - not in my recordings & transcript tab either. Have I lost it ?

I have had a couple of suspicious registrants sign up for my Meetings lately.  The one today was from the domain @schoolmail.website.  A quick Google search advised that I not allow this registrant out of the waiting room and into the meeting.  Is there any zoom spambot security I can use to stop these from registering for my meetings?

Super frustrated with how this app works. A video was shared in a meeting, in the team chat section (I assume it was team chat, it was the Chat button between the Home and Phone buttons). I downloaded them on my s26 ultra, and now they are nowhere to be found. Why is it so difficult to just be able to view what I have downloaded?

I’m new to using Zoom and still trying to understand its basic features. I’ve recently started attending online meetings and noticed that some people record sessions for later use. However, I’m not sure how this recording process works, who is allowed to record, and where the recordings are saved. Can someone explain in a simple way how to record meetings on Zoom and what steps I need to follow as a beginner?
