10 minute warning stops meeting

For several weeks now when acting as host on a family zoom meeting when I get the 10 minute warning notice which appears in the centre of my screen, if I click the ‘X’ to close the notice the session is ended. This is a nonsense and didn’t used to happen. What is the issue?
