10 minute warning stops meeting

It appears that the issue you’re experiencing with the 10‑minute warning pop‑up ending your Zoom meeting when you click the “X”. Please ensure your Zoom app is updated to the latest version. However if the issue persist, please raise a ticket with our Support team so we can further troubleshoot the root cause of this.

• Impacted User(s)
• Screenshots
• Details
  • Date
  • Time
  • Duration
  • Errors

This has been happening to me as well in our family group meet. I do not use the app as I find it annoying, I use Zoom in the browser. I am the host so when I click the x and it closes me out of the meeting, it boots hosting to one of my sisters, and they have to wait until I can log in again and resume the hosting position.

Hi, this issue is still apparent and means that we are now looking at an alternative platform for our meetings. A suggestion was that we ensure we have the latest version of Zoom which I have done and it makes no difference, Tash Balaguer put a link in his comment above to create a ticket but as this is a free account it goes nowhere. Zoom are clearly not interested in sorting the issue, so we either have to live with it or go elsewhere.

The latest app no longer installs on my laptop so I have to use the web interface when the 10 minute warning comes up clicking the ‘X’ shuts down the meeting. Doe anyone have a solution?
