This red dot from the Zoom dock icon needs to go. It entirely bypasses the system preferences, even if you disable badges and notifications the red dot persists as long as you have unread Team Chats.This is entirely unnecessary and horrible UX design.

I login to zoom with Google. If I change my Google Account Password does zoom keep my old password for zoom?

Hey everybody, I just wanted to introduce myself to the Zoom community. I am Robert Leizear Owner of Best Bookkeeping LLC. Very happy to be a part of the Zoom community as Zoom is becoming a daily part of my life. I am new to the community and still learning all the great features that Zoom provides. 

 I blocked someone and then deleted their chat but now we settled the issue and we've been trying to talk but I cant unblock because I can't find their contact and when they try sending a friend request to me I can't see it, I hope zoom can come up with a solution for this issue.

We are seeing this issue occurring across multiple user devices within our environment. Reinstalling Zoom does not resolve the problem, and even when setting up a completely new machine, the issue still presents itself immediately upon installation.At this time, there appears to be no available documentation from Zoom that addresses this behavior or provides any known resolution. Hello Zoom team, I would like to suggest an improvement for the Enter key behavior in Zoom chat. Adjust the Enter key behavior in Zoom Phone so it doesn't send the message immediately. I’d like the option to have pressing Ctrl + Enter create a new line instead of sending the message. When I set up Zoom for my company I originally had Advanced Encryption turned on. After discovering that content was still encrypted with this setting turned off, and the downsides outweighed the upsides (for us), I turned it off. However, it is still not possible to edit chats in channels created before I turned the setting off. Some of these chats are the busiest and most important ones, so this limitation is a bit annoying. Is there any way to fix this?

I have two computers. I installed the software on one of them, and everything works fine. However, when I installed the software on the other computer, the camera's image quality is poor, the software looks different, there are fewer functions, and the virtual background doesn’t work well. In Team Chat, I have my notifications set like this:However, the Zoom icon still has a badge, and the channel is marked as unread, if people are replying to threads that I am not mentioned or involved in. Is there no way to change this behaviour? I only want a channel to be unread if there is either a new top level message, or there’s a message in a thread I’m involved in (replied to, tagged etc.) It makes it so difficult to keep track of messages that are actually relevant to me.

Hey FamI have long had an issue with the chat window jumping around whenever a new message comes in, or trying to scroll around. It never scrolls fluidly, jumping around as I get toward the end of the messages. This makes it very difficult to read the messages, obviously, and is a frustrating hindrance to communication.  This has happened for years, across devices and versions for me. I see *some* mention of related issues in the forums, but not a lot. Please advise! Thank you!

We are having hackers attack our zoom meetings and sending 1000s of chat messages at once. Is there any way to delete all of them at once instead of having to delete them one at a time?

My Zoom Team Chat has never shown sent, delivered, or read indicators. I use a Basic account and do not belong to any organization. Please reset the backend Team Chat message-status policy on my account. 

My chat box must have a glitch in it.  It automatically sends empty chat boxes to the group from me even though I didn't send them

Hello, I'm trying to disable two-step verification, but nothing I do seems to work.I followed the steps below to enable and disable it:- Log in to the Zoom web portal as an administrator.- In the navigation menu, click Advanced, then Security.- Under Security, click the Sign in with two-step verification toggle to enable or disable it.It's disabled, but Zoom still asks for the second code when I log in, the second step of the verification.

Hi! I uploaded and installed Zoom v6.0.2 from their website on my mac os 10.15.7 twice now, but when i try to open it, it tells me that it needs os 11.0 or later to work with Zoom v 6.0.2, so is there another Zoom version that will work? When I trying to update my os it says that it's current?

  Hi there,my company uses Zoom as a chat for internal communications. Sometimes it happens that the zoom on my Windows 11 PC is apparently operational but in reality I am offline for other colleagues. Colleagues write to me but for them I am offline even if for my zoom I am online. The only way to solve the problem is to become reachable again with the chats and restart zoom. This happens about every 2 or 3 hours even with the PC in use. Zoom is updated and connected with a Lan cable. Thank you so much.

if you create a Shared Space and choose one of the default channels you have created (where every member of the organization is in the default channel) to add the members, does the Shared Space get updated each time a new employee is added to the default channel?
