Solved

Hi I am trying to activate Embed passcode in invite link for one-click join.  It is activated in the Security tab of my account but I cannot get it when setting up a new meeting. I am a bit at a loss here on how to solve this. I have followed these instructions: https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0065979 Can you help please?

Hii recently hosted a meeting, where one of the participants requested to record the meeting. I granted permission for this at the start of the meeting. I am a basic account holder. After the meeting, (the following day) the participant that had recorded, contacted me to state that they couldn’t access their recording and that Zoom support said that me (as the host) must have deleted it or changed permissions. The participant is a Pro account holder and stated they saved their recording to the cloud. I knew I had not deleted or changed anything so I logged in to see if I could see their recording but I can’t see it. can anyone help as to where I would go to access their recording and how I can help them access it? TIA

I am unable to locate the template for follow-up emails to absentees within the email settings. I am using Zoom Events license, Event is Virtual with multiple webinar sessions. Any help would be appreciated.

This has been a problem for me for over a year.I use a Windows 10 PC, Zoom version 5.9.7 (3931). If I am the ONLY person in a meeting (it could be my meeting or another meeting I joined) and I press "Start Video," Zoom's user interface begins to act extremely unresponsive/laggy for seconds at a time. The video feed from my camera will present normally, though (movements are always smooth and not lagging.) To press the mute, stop video, view chat, or any other UI buttons, I have to hover the cursor over a button for ~5 seconds until the button's hover effect finally shows, and then it immediately hangs again for ~5 seconds or so. Clicking anything will not generate a response until 5 seconds or sometimes more. Even trying to move the Zoom app window around my 1st monitor (in a dual monitor setup) isn't responsive. I will click and drag the Zoom app window to a new position, and it will hang until a couple seconds have passed, then the window will jump to the new position.

I intend to buy an Android tablet and do my zoom meetings using it, but I need to see meeting participants while sharing my tablet screen.According to this help article "Sharing your screen while seeing all meeting participants" in the prerequisites section:https://support.zoom.com/hc/en/article?id=zm_kb&sysparm_article=KB0061332You need Windows or Mac client to be able to see meeting participants while sharing screen. And this functionality doesn't work of course in Android phones (I don't know about iPhone). However, I tried a meeting with my friend, who has an iPad and he could share his screen and see meeting participants at the bottom of his iPad screen the same time! So, is this functionally works as well in Android tablet? is there a minimum screen size for the tablet so that it could work?

I am trying and failing to stream my meeting to a FB group. I am getting the error: Unable to access your Facebook account. Try logging into Facebook again. (4,922) I have followed the advice here: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/115000350406-Facebook-livestreaming-meetings-or-webinars I have also tried clearing chrome's cache. Any thoughts? Thanks

In our Zoom settings, we have AI summary set to "Only me (meeting host) and meeting invitees in our organization".  When I look at my meeting invite both in Zoom and in Outlook, this person is not on the invite list (nor should they be).  There is a chance, however, that they were invited to the meeting at one point in time as a one off - would that cause it?  This is a reoccurring, scheduled meeting.  I don't know what else to check so am looking for ideas on how this is happening.

My boss is visually impaired and uses Zoom for presentations. With the new update, when he enlarges his screen to see better, it now zooms in for all viewers as well.Previously, only his screen would be magnified, allowing the viewers to see the presentation normally. Is this a setting?

Hello. I would like to create a recurring meeting in which when participants enter they do not know how many other users are currently in the room or their names. Thank you.

Posting this from an ALTERNATE account as the account in question I am unable to sign in to, or restart the account creation process because I accidentally selected "Education Account" when this does not apply to me. Can support please help with this as it is a timely issue? I need this account as soon as possible!

there are occasions when a scheduled meeting starts and not everyone had joined, that I'd like to invite them from within the meeting, it would be really helpful if I could have an invite-everyone option from within the app, or at least a list of the non-attendant with an easy invite option which I can choose

I teach reading and spelling to children over Zoom and I want the captions disabled.  If a student puts captions on, they might see the spelling of what I'm saying plus it distracts them.  I know I can disable them after starting a meeting, but I have a different student every hour and I want to disable them BEFORE meetings start.  Is there a way for me to do that?

Here is my screenshot:https://imgur.com/a/QPDkKUn I don't want the screen show up the attendees including me. When I record the meeting, I want to just record the screen. But it seems the attendee are all become part of the video. How can I avoid that?  I don't have this issue before I upgrade to latest version.

I can't assign two licensed users to any meetings, nor can they log in.A solution would be appreciated!Thank you,

I'm getting this message when I click on Add a Zoom meeting in an Outlook calendar: "featureId or user is empty, featureId:GroupHD_1080P Dismiss" Why am I getting this message?   How do I get past this?

I would like to customized a waiting room for Zoom Webinars with a holding Jpeg or video in Webinar. This would be for attendees to see before the Webinar starts. I know this is possible for Zoom Meetings, but why not for Webinars?

I'm not finding an option that allows people to vote without their name being attached to the vote. There are times when people need this extra step to allow them to speak their mind in the presence of power brokers. Am I missing the setting somewhere? Or is it on a roadmap?

So it seems my main account is on their block list. How on earth are you meant to get it unblocked if you need to log in to access support, is there any way anyone knows of to get this sorted. Dealing with these big tech companies really sucks when it goes wrong. Also tried calling with no luckand tried opening a ticket on this account but it just gets auto closed as soon as i submit it.

Hello, I am testing out Zoom Events and have noticed that when I use the Zoom app on my phone, there is an easy way to join Events (see screenshot). However, I am not seeing Events option like this when I use the desktop app. (see screenshot). Is there an Events option like this on the web app that I am missing? Thank you - Amanda

I'm trying to configure the auto receptionist to allow dial by extension. https://community.zoom.com/t5/Phone-System/IVR-Dial-Users-Extension/m-p/116943 the zoom employee in this thread states that this should be the default while playing the auto receptionist greeting. However, dialing any extension doesn't seem to do anything and it ends up going to the designated route after the greeting. All users have US/CA Unlimited licensing.

We've recently installed a new meeting room using Yealink for Zoom Rooms. However, when we create a meeting, the "Start" button is missing from all my scheduled meetings on the Zoom Room controller. Integration: Google Calendar (resource calendar NOT an individual account)Status: Set up, and synced. Calendar added to Zoom Rooms account What we do:When we create a meeting, we use Google Calendar, and add / invite the room in question. The room would automatically accept the invitation and it would add the meeting to the respective calendar. The meeting request shows on the Zoom Room controller, however, there is no option to "Start" the meeting. There appears to be no "Start" button I have double checked all permissions, etc. I just cannot seem to get the "Start" button to appear. For now, I have enabled the same ID for each meeting, so we can at least create an instant meeting at the time of a scheduled meeting. As this is a Zoom Room license, it's not licensed for a
