Hi all,We're currently on the Zoom Business plan with 12 Workplace licenses, primarily to access the Language Interpretation feature, which is essential for our international meetings.As our active user demand has decreased, we're exploring whether it's possible to reduce the number of paid Business licenses to, for example, 8—without losing access to the Language Interpretation feature.Could anyone advise whether this is technically and contractually feasible? Alternatively, are there any lower-cost options—such as add-ons with the Pro plan—that still provide access to Language Interpretation?We’d really appreciate any guidance on how to adjust our plan while keeping this key functionality.Thanks in advance!Best, Kirsten

Hi,  I have spent 60 minutes trying to have no virtual background. With the help of ChatGPT, I have already deleted and installed Zoom, deleted the Cache on my Mac, etc.  The background apparently is saved somewhere online.. Would you have any recommendations? Thanks! 

I love that there is an SMS templates section in the admin portal so that I can make it easy for my call center volunteers to respond in a similar way. (Found in Account Management > Account settings > Zoom phone > SMS templates) I set up several SMS templates in the portal, but can't figure out how to use them when actually texting. We've tried the iOS app, the MacOS app, and the web app. Is there a setting I need to set elsewhere to allow my users to use these templates? 

Is it possible to schedule a meeting a month in advance if you have a pay monthly subscription. So, for example, I start a monthly subscription in July but want to book a meeting in for August. Is this possible or can I only book meetings in for the month I've paid the subscription for? 

I'm not sure this is the right place for this question. Please direct me if there is a better place.I have Workplace Pro and it seems that the video filters are supposed to be available, but they are not. Please advise.

I set up my Zoom account with a particular email account for my log on and profile.  But when I schedule a meeting a different email appears as the host of the meeting and the invite is sent out from that different email account, not the account which is on my profile.  I am fairly sure I didn't make this change and I can't work out how to change it back.  Any ideas?

I am trying to edit the "countries approved" setting in my personal meeting ID settings and the "edit" tab is grayed out. I get a message stating that my account is blocked and I must contact the admin.  I am the only one using this account.  I am the admin?   Please help.  Under Schedule Meeting, click the Enable Personal Meeting ID toggle to enable or disable it.Note: If the option is grayed out, it has been locked at either the group or account level. You need to contact your Zoom admin.

Hello..I had subscribed to Zoom basic plan using my personal email address while back.  Recently I upgraded to Zoom Pro for my own business.  However, when scheduling meetings, the invite goes from my personal email and not my business email.  Since I use Zoom mainly for business purposes, I would like to transfer the subscription to my business account which means the Pro plan will apply to my business account and the basic plan can continue to be on my personal email.  I do not mind deactivating the basic plan altogether.  I do not wish to pay double.  Can someone please help?Best regards

Hi. I want to turn off automatic Zoom updates as it is causing me problems updating just before meetings. The latest one changed my audio settings so I couldn't hear anyone. I've subsequently researched it and followed the instructions previously given to change it but the instructions I read said to find it in Settings-General. When I go into this section automatic updates are not mentioned. Today I was updated to ZoomWorkplace so has it changed? Should I be looking in another tab?Many thanks.

A potential client was scheduled for a meeting and sent me her link.I 'm on Mac and she is on a pc and it said we could not connect unless I was also on a pc.

A few days a go I bought a new laptop and whenever I try and join a zoom meeting, it gives me an error stating "UnauthorizedSorry, your session was expired. Please refresh the page or login again, 401"  But when I try joining the same call with the same account on a different computer it works fine. I tried to google the problem and I tired to flush my DNS, logging off and back on, deleting zoom, clearing cache, deleting history but nothing seemed to fix the problem. Is there anything else I can do to fix this problem? 

All I did was update the credit card info today, June 26, 2025. I was charged in Jan 2025 for the whole year ahead, good till my next charge date of Jan 11, 2026. Why was I charged a prorated $87.62 today to cover June 26, 2025 to Jan 11, 2026? Didn't I pay for a full year ahead in Jan 2025?

With the last couple of versions of the Linux Zoom desktop client, I find that some menus (including the main menu and the audio/video selection menu) don't work: they appear for a fraction of a second and then disappear again. The last version that worked is 5.17.5. Versions 5.17.10 and 5.17.11 show this problem, which makes the desktop client unusable in practice. One of the institutions that host meetings that I attend has a very strict policy on using up-to-date versions of the client, so using version 5.17.5 may not be a usable workaround for much longer. I am using Gnome/Wayland on openSUSE 15.5. This looks similar to a problem reported on the Fedora forums at https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/zoom-menus-dont-show/82677/1 but openSUSE 15.5 uses an older version of mutter (41.9) than that reported there. For completeness I have attached zoom logs for working and non-working versions, although I can't see any significant difference between them.&n

When installed, the Zoom desktop app (v. 5.17.0) will not launch. No desktop icon appears after installing (though the app items appear in the "Apps" list and in the "Apps" control panel). I've been asked to improve our ability to host hybrid Zoom (board) meetings. I understand I can buy a bluetooth projector to do this. I would have to work off an iPhone or iPad - not a laptop. Also, the available wifi is not terribly strong. Any suggestions - is this the best way to go?

Will the ZOOM dashboard display the participant's ip address and participant's mac address? 

I used to just tell my students: message me, and only me (not use group chat) during a lecture. then after the meeting is done, I see all of the chat messages in the (lokaly recorded) saved text file. Now with the new Chat Funktion: where can i see (after the meeting is over) all of the private messages my students wrote to me?
