If I have paid for month 50$ + Tax for a large meeting 500 participants, and if I am using my license for a school, will I be able to host 500 participants?

I intend to schedule a meeting for 100+ attendees. However, I need to monitor who joins the meeting by allowing certain email holders to join only. Nevertheless, the attendee must join with one device only. Overall, I was able to create a group, but the participants were able to join with more than one device.On the other hand, I sat up a registration form, but anyone was able to register. However, they were able to join from one device only. I could not arrive to combine these two features, could you please share with me your experiences? Thank you in advance, Kind regards, Mamdouh

I  teach reading to elementary school children  and do a lot of screen sharing.   Some of my students are able to use their mouse when I share it.  I have one student who is on a laptop but I am NOT able to give her control of the mouse.   At one time she could use her mouse but not recently.  Is there something I can tell her mom to change in settings, or is there something I can change?It is so important to have interactive  features with young students.  I find this a bit frustrating.Many thanks!

A while back, Zoom touted the ability to place participants at a table to mock a panel and make it more personal. I have never seen that feature released. Has anyone found it or used it? It is just for webinars?

I'm having an issue disabling that "extra" window that shows up on every meeting. I turned it on once to try it out to see if I liked it and now I can't get it off. The tic box is unchecked so I don't know what the deal is. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I mistakenly paid an annual license which seriously affects my budge .I only wanted a monthly license. What can I do?I work for a public school that does not give any extra money to pay zoom.

Hi, I would like to record a question an answer interview but don’t want the view to jump from interviewer to participant.  So this means the interviewer is still in the shot until the participant starts to respond and then the camera flips back to the participant. Makes it hard to cut clean bits of the clip in post production as the interviewer is still in the shot fair the first bit until participant starts to talk….Pinning the participant doesn’t seem to work either. Is this correct and what can I do to keep the interviewee on screen the whole time even when the questions are being asked please? Any help would be great as it’s for work  and can’t seem to find answer anywhere. Thank you, Connie

Hi there. On June 13, 2021, I hosted a zoom meeting with a client. I joined by PC; she joined by phone. I'm pretty sure I recorded the session. I went into my zoom account and there is no record of the meeting ever taking place, yet I have the zoom meeting invite details that she used to join the call. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Our default calendar is set to Google Calendar as the majority of our users use it.We've onboarded a subset of users into Zoom from our partner org. The partner org uses Office 365 Calendar.Is there a way to allow some users to configure Calendar Synchronization other then default Calendar (Google)?Thanks,

Hi All, We build a VDI environment and  its not meet customer expectations. Our environment:Horizon View : 2103Zoom : 5.5.10(20625) And we do the bandwidth test between 1~2 Mbps Does there have any solution or optimization can help us reduce the bandwidth below 0.5 Mbps?

Weekly we have a meeting, I would like to take how long a participant is talking, to get data to do an analysis. 🗣️It's possible that I could get how long the participant was talking? I ha worked checking the time with the breakout rooms, however, I would like to check per participant. Maybe, in the logs of the meeting get the time that participants open their mic. Thank you for your feedback or recommendations to follow that.  

Just installed Zoom, on a Windows ARM device.   Went to setup a virtual background and I'm directed to settings, to enable virtual backgrounds. Get to settings and backgrounds is enabled. I go back to the Zoom client and then says my device isn't compatible with virtual backgrounds? Is there a workaround for this as virtual backgrounds can be a good privacy feature?

Hello,   I am just wondering if anyone could help me with where I could get more information about the algorithms used in Zoom that prioritize certain speakers when in “Speaker View” when several people are talking at the same time? Also are there any documentation on how the platform chooses who gets in the top window of profiles when a screen is being shared? How does the platform choose who gets to be on the top of the screen and why are the other participants of the call left out?   Any directions on where I could find this information would be extremely appreciated.   Thank you very much for your time and help. piR.

I don't like physical mail as I got some stolen before. Does Zoom send you US Mail whenever I make a purchase or when something changes? Also I'm using Zoom Phone and it wants me to enter emergency address. Will it send a mail about that too? 

We have been virtually hosting a national cohort of grades 6-12 History-Social Science teachers working on a common body of lessons focused on historical sites around the U.S. that are related to "The Fight for Equal Rights". So our teachers are from local areas of each site, MLK National Park in Georgia, Women's Rights National Park in Upstate New York, Stonewall Inn Historic Site in Greenwich Village New York, Cesar Chavez National Park in Kern County CA, and Angel Island Immigration Station State Park in SF Bay CA.   Previously of course, we'd all travel to a central location to gather and conduct much of our lesson planning and coaching, we are now doing it remotely via Zoom meetings and some supporting digital curriculum tools. In the end, we've been able to continue to make the process of matching content and historical specialists, with digital learning design specialists alongside exceptional classroom teachers from across the U.S. the REAL FOCUS thanks to this technology.

For us in Naval Education and Training, instructor training was one of the most important factors to overall success!  We used a simple checklist that increased comfort and confidence.  One of our main points was taken from the Education Community, use the three P's - Plan, Prepare and Practice! This is a huge recipe for success.   Agree?   

We've hosted a few virtual conferences now, some lasting multiple days and involve different tracks/breakout sessions people can attend. I'm curious what tips and tricks any of you have picked up along the way for those who have done similar things.  Some stuff we've learned: The Concurrent Meeting addon is useful if you want to schedule all the links yourself and not use someone else's license/log in to support multiple sessionsHowever you still cannot host a Webinar and a meeting at the same time, regardless of this license or not.While we've looked at some online event platforms, we've never found the cost worth it, as most of them basically just organize your Zoom links in a more user/app-friendly manner.  I've just encouraged everyone so far to keep their links organized, and then distribute them as hyperlinks in emails or PDFs for attendees.  So far it's worked well.I'd love to hear what else others have picked up from doing similar events!

We are trying to get list of participants for past meetings. However when we started with Zoom it was a free subscription, not a paid one. Can we still get that list even though we had those meetings as free users?(We also want to do a batch select and grab lists over multiple meetings but that is my secondary question)

The professors my team support all use Polls. Only one uses the poll reports and we are trying to become more familiar with them. Has any one used the Poll Reports a lot? Does the meeting need to have registration enabled or have the authenticated user setting checked to see the names on the poll reports?
